Just, the way it was phrased and the said discussion sparking.

4 happens to precisely be the number of players we keep alive to win a perfect game (2 Town and 2 Scum) , and how does it matter how hard it is to read people that putting forward a list of how readable they are benefits discussion? I feel these kind of sweeping "list your top X players for Y" just don't really generate much meaningful discussion.

I mean again, what the heck are you expecting page 1 on day 1? Meaningful content?

But to be precise, 4 wasn't chosen randomly. I wanted to see if I could get him to put out some names and then see how they maybe change later on as a way to judge his actual progression. Dusk's town progression tends to be pretty good, so it was just a possible way to later evaluate his alignment.

The way it stands is pretty good imo, I think scum = dusk would be more inclined to answer the question but the theoretical way he answers it is a pretty towny mindset imo.

Hmm I mean I can see where you are coming from for sure, but considering smogon's history of fucking up endgame, which you may not be aware of, I still feel like it's the perfect chance to keep actual good players in the game to the end to not throw.

Though tbh towns main focus is hope we can find one lock scum who we can just make sure is never lynched. Last game town had won page 2 pretty much when we realised Josh was scum and we could just never lynch him. Unless someone threw late game that is.

Because imo, it's more in town's spirit to find one thing and obsess over it and push it than to just call that much attention to yourself as scum.

It makes sense. If I was scum imo, I'd probably be pushing for the opposite because it's effectively a kill on the most threatening people.
