What's the best way to deal with Z-Geomancy Xerneas? Particularly this spread.
Xerneas @ Fairium Z
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 24 SpA / 36 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Geomancy
- Moonblast
- Rest
- Ingrain
I've been using SpD P-Don and SpD Solgaleo to check standard Geo-Xern...
On a Psychic Terrain team, should Deoxys-A run Extreme Speed or can it be replaced with another coverage move? It's been tough choosing between Ice Beam to handle Yveltal or Knock-Off to handle bulky Psychic-types like Solgaleo and Lunala. Psycho Boost already OHKOs most Dragon and Flying-types...
Jolly is definitely viable in my opinion. Biggest pro of Jolly is outspeeding the +Speed nature base 110s like Mega-Diancie and Latios while unboosted, allowing you to OHKO them before they can OHKO in return should you ever end up in a such an encounter.
Don't forget that Delta Stream cuts Stone Edge damage by half, so it will never OHKO unless you are facing regular Rayquaza. Also, Rayquaza can easily just break an existing Sub with Earthquake instead of suffering the Defense drop from Dragon Ascent.
Base stats is a misleading term now that I've reviewed my post, but my point still stands that the Soul Dew bonus is not additive with stat boosts like Calm Mind (as PBR's calculations had demonstrated). Functionally, it works exactly like a 50% increase to the original/raw stat because any stat...
Jibaku's calculations are correct. Don't forget that Soul Dew increases the raw stats first, so it is multiplied by Calm Mind. Therefore, Soul Dew + Calm Mind is not equal to itemless Latios with 2 Calm Mind boosts. Here are the calculations, adjusting Latios' base SpA and SpD to match the Soul...
I don't know about most viable, but here are the Top 10 most used Mons at the 1760 AG Benchmark. Basically status abuse and BP/Moody, along with the strongest offensive threats in Ubers.
1 | Rayquaza | 66.54640%
2 | Klefki | 63.63702%
3 | Arceus | 56.78001%
4 | Groudon | 40.79504%

The message in the chat window for mega evolving is bugged. It mentions the Pokemon's name rather than the Mega Stone's name.
E.g.
"Metagross's Metagross is reacting to Player X's Mega Bracelet!"
It should read "Metagross's Metagrossite".
"Salamence's Salamence is reacting to the Player X's...
Pretty simple actually. Mega-Rayquaza has 780 BST and the ability to hold any item in addition to having an amazing ability. Arceus has 720 BST, and all non-Normal type forms can only hold a single item. The Plates do give benefits unlike Mega Stones as held items, but it still pales in...
Another pro of the Def spread is that you have a good chance of living +1 Double Edge from M-Mence at 100% HP, whereas the HP build is KOed more often than not.
+1 252 Atk Aerilate Mega Salamence Double-Edge vs. 0 HP / 212 Def Xerneas: 349-412 (88.8 - 104.8%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
+1 252 Atk...
You only need 44 EVs to outspeed Scarf Genesect after a boost. For the rest of the spread, I've been testing both a Def-focused spread and a spread that offers better mixed bulk. I agree with Lemonade that HP investment does better allow it to switch into Yveltal and other Dark-types. I've been...
