Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Carnival is also huge in Spain though, albeit every region has differences. One also has to consider that in birds the frilly adornments, dancing, etc. are either male things or done by both sexes. Honestly I consider Quaquaval to be pretty neutral in appearance compared to the likes of...
I wish that Gamefreak had used gen 9, with its emphasis on types, to rebalance the type chart a bit. I know they are loathe to do this and I think I understand why, but I also think most people would not be bothered if they adjusted a few type weaknesses and resistances, especially ones the...
Preliminary teams (the share your team button doesn't seem to be working for me)
Scarlet:
Skeledirge
Kilowattrel
Farigiraf
Dudunsparce
Veluza
Breloom (haven't used one in a playthrough in ages)
Violet:
Quaquaval
Paldean Tauros Fire (if its available)
Orthworm
Cyclizar
Glimmora
Brambleghast...
Would H-Typhlosion and Skeledirge even compete with each other? Seems like they're designed for different roles with their respective stats, movesets and abilities.
Predicting this thing will exceed the UBs in strangeness.
I kind of like that Gamefreak seems to have embraced the "we'll make a DLC expansion instead of a third version" philosophy now to the point of being willing to so blatantly foreshadow the expansion.

And Clodsire's estimation in my eyes went up a peg, it's like the designers thought "what if we took a ribbed newt's spines, pointed them up, and made them several times larger?" I...
So Clodsire has a spiny theme to it except for its design. Am I right in thinking that spines poke out of parts of its body for some of its animations?
You know, the way they keep introducing pokemon that simply discard pieces of their bodies with no ill effect that people later gather to eat is making me think more and more that it will eventually be explained that people in the pokemon world at least in modern times don't kill pokemon for...
I'd be surprised if they did that, since they are not considered forms or transformations but distinct, independent pokemon, and those have never been stuck in just one generation.
I got the impression the introductions to the wild were accidents or not sanctioned, hence at least one person who grew up in the Crown Tundra not even knowing what these "rocky pokemon" were.
Has it been confirmed that the snowstorm effect makes Blizzard 100% accurate like Hail yet? I'd be surprised if it didn't, but I haven't seen it mentioned.
