  1. Pokémon X & Y In-game Tier List Discussion

I don't think I've seen any feedback on Espeon. So obviously, Espeon's biggest problem is being a happiness based evolution. The lowest level Eevee you can catch is 19, and Espeon learns Psybeam at 20. It is easy to evolve Espeon in one level, the problem is that it takes time. Somewhere...
  2. Pokémon BW2 In-game Tier List Mark II [See Post #840]

I think Drapion belongs in Low tier. He comes late, shortly after the 6th gym, and while he's never particularly weak, he isn't very strong either. He has a wide movepool, and decent Attack and Speed, but his moves have low power. Now, he filled a need for my team, in that he had a STAB Dark...
  3. So you took the Red Pill.

IVs and EVs don't really bother me. In-game is not a competitive setting, therefore I don't go into it with a competitive mindset. Natures do bother me though, as do abilities when there's a big enough disparity. I try for at least neutral nature, and usually I end up catching several of the...
  4. BW2 In-Game Tier List Discussion [Updated 7/24]

For rock types, I remember Crustle being fantastic in the first game. Could set up and sweep in almost all of the late game fights, except for N and Marshall. I'd imagine he's a bit weaker this time around with a water gym instead of an ice gym, though.

Roselia also becomes available around the same time as the Minccino, so there's a slight issue if you want to use Roserade and Cinccino. Then again, I'd imagine you'd want to keep Roselia unevolved until 37 for Petal Dance, and by then you could probably get your hands on a second.
  6. EV Training Spots in Black/White

HP - Victini if he's still up in your game (gives 3 and respawns after leaving his room), or else Stunfisk (2) by Icirrus. SpA - Celestial Tower, everything gives 1. Defense - There is no good spot. Others have been given earlier, personally I train Defense exclusively through the Power Belt...

Bisharp with Sucker Punch laughs in her face. Spiritomb cannot break his sub, get a couple swords dances up, eventually Iron Head usually lands. Iron Head kills off Lucario, then Sucker Punch destroys everything else.

I still need to get a Balloon, Focus Sash, Choice Band, maybe a status orb or two, and that's ignoring whether I want duplicates.
  9. Pokémon Black/White in-game discussion

God, I love the Hax Subway. I see a Shuckle. Mienshao uses Fake Out, business as usual. Stone Edge misses, Shuckle Power Tricks. HJK misses, I die to Rock Slide. No big deal, I've got Gyarados in reserve, Waterfall will get the job done...no wait, Quick Claw. I suppose I can hope...

They would hurt if they actually used them. I've tested a Golurk against Marshal before. The only thing that poses any threat at all is Throh's Payback. Everything else just spams Stone Edge, ignoring Grass Knot.

Dwebble for me could not solo Elesa. It did amazing, but couldn't solo. With Rock Polish, I could outspeed the Emongas but not the Zebstrika, (With Eviolite) Emonga failed to 2HKO with Volt Switch, while Smack Down was a solid 2HKO. Then Zebstrika comes out, outspeeds and does a bit too much...
  12. In-Game Tier List Discussion

Actually, Golett was surprisingly easy to train up, or at least catch up. Iron Fist Shadow Punch tears through all the Goletts in the tower, and inside the tower is a ton of Plasma Grunts who spam out Watchogs who can't actually hit him. I think Golett actually soloed the entire tower for me...

Terrible. Too slow, and not nearly bulky enough to make up for it. Same with Reuniclus for that matter, but it wasn't as bad as Beeheyem for me (though Reuniclus was a late game pickup. Solosis may very well kick ass early on with early Psyshock and high offenses, it wouldn't surprise me).
  14. In-Game Tier List Discussion

Excadrill demolishes the E4 though. I used one on my first playthrough, and it beat everyone for me except Marshal, and while I don't remember how Grimsley's Scrafty went, I'm pretty confident a +2 EQ should kill it. I'd imagine that between Serperior and Celebi Marshal shouldn't be too bad...

Because they can still make a good parent? The mother I was using was a 31/31/31/31/31/29 Jolly Solosis from my earlier Solosis breeding attempts (with Masuda, passing Modest). The father, though, was a x/x/x/31/31/x Bold Misdreavus. Eggs were coming out slowly, so checking even the pokemon...
