Hi Lumii, Please drop me from this event. I'm not enjoying it at all and the last match left a particularly bad taste in my mouth. Thank you for your efforts as TO.

Gen 1 RoA Spotlight Tournament: Nintendo Cup '97 [Won by Toxin Boost]

Martin played really well. Pretty sure I threw game 2 by not double switching Jynx/Lapras or by just clicking Blizzard with Jynx... very little room for error in this format!

Gen 1 RoA Spotlight Tournament: Nintendo Cup '97 [Won by Toxin Boost]

Hi Lumii! Can you confirm whether we are required to use the same team for the entire Bo3 or whether we can switch teams between games. I ask because Smogon RBY tournaments usually allow switching teams between games, but when Nintendo Cup 1997 was played (and is played today in Japan), they...

In the most recent SPL, week 9 game 2, Chuva played a team consisting of Gengar, Cloyster, the big 3 Normals and 1 Unknown. This structure was seen earlier in the same SPL, with Exeggutor as the final Pokemon, several times against Nails actually. However, in the previous outings, Gengar had...

Gen 1 Starmie + Cloyster + Jolteon, feedback welcome!

Hi all, I have been playing Gen 1 on and off since 2018. Recently I moved countries and have lots of free time on my hands and so am seeking to take improvement seriously. I am seeking feedback on my ladder team, which I have played for the last two weeks (263 wins, 181 losses). General...

Hi all, First post for me. I've been playing a Starmie + Cloyster + Jolteon team and seem to be messing up some of the common openings, so wanted to check in to make sure I have the details correct. versus Alakazam or Starmie, go to Chansey and prepare to click Sing. I'm not sure what to do if...
