  1. Simple Questions & Simple Answers & General Resources (OU Edition) MK II

As an old player trying to get back into the swing of OU, how is Kyurem-B performing in the tier? I don't need a long, in-depth response, just a quick overview.
  2. League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

Yeah they're pretty awesome. My personal favorite is Nautilus. Kind of reminds my of Darth Vader
  3. League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

    Most fun to play: 1) Blitzcrank 2) Hecarim 3) Malphite 4) Kha'zix 5) Karthus
  4. Official MLB 2012 Season Thread

Dude the AL East is one of the best divisions in baseball, definitely not the worst. The Blue Jays were doing fine before Bautista went down; how would any team do if they lost their star player for half a season? If I had to rank the divisions, I'd go: NL East AL West AL East NL Central...
  5. OU CCAT- 3rd Edition VOTING DISCUSSION SEE #157

    1) ThisMysteriousGuy's Gravity offense 2) Bubbly's Quick Stall 3) Superpowerdude's Hail Stall Haven't posted, but I've read through.
  6. League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

This. The bonuses Rengar and Kha get aren't that awesome. Since you need to be level 16, at that point of the game winning a team fight is way more important than getting a 4th evolution point or HoKZ. Even if you hate it, you probably won't ever have to see it again in a few weeks as the...
  7. League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

First champ:Kayle Favorite Champ: Warwick Most Played: Blitzcrank probably Least Favorite Champ: Teemo/Master Yi Favorite Skin: Corporate Mundo (honorable mention to Definitely Not Blitzcrank) Least favorite skin: AstroNautilus
  8. League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

I dunno about support Warwick. He only really has the suppress and his W, (and the attack speed boost if halved for teammates). AD caries appreciate both of those, but Warwick has no way to help his lane partner defensively. His other skills, Blood Scent and Hungering Strike, don't really help...
  9. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

The biggest changes are the release of Genesect, Keldeo, the Therian genies (resdistributed Base Stats and new abilities), and Meoletta. We've also seen the release of some new Dream World abilities, most notably Shadow Tag Gothitelle and Imposter Ditto. Some move changes relevant to OU are...
  10. BW2 General Metagame Discussion Thread

The thing is that 2HKOing Dragonite isn't enough for Shiftry because he'll get demolished from any of his attacks. There's a reason that Venusaur is the king of Chlorophyll sweepers and it's because he as enough bulk to take a hit as he sets up Growth. Shiftry and Victreebel, the only others I...
  11. So many weather teams... Is non-weather viable?

Well I wouldn't call Golduck a "counter" to Stoutland since it can't switch in, and even if it could it's still mediocre (though using Golduck automatically makes you awesome). It's awesome to see someone use Aerodactyl in today's metagame. Team preview may have hurt its viability as a lead...
  12. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

It's completely possible to field a competitive team without Rapid Spin, but it does limit your options. Mostly, you'll want to stay away from pokemon who are weak to the most common hazard, Stealth Rock. Things like Volcarona and Dragonite obviously need a Spinner if they want to be effective...
  13. Underrated but effective sets in the BW2 overused metagame

I'd hardly call Infernape uncommon. It's #24 in usage (ahead of things like Haxorus, Landorus-T, and Keldeo) and ScarfNape is easily the most common set, so I don't really get how these are underrated. I mean the second set is literally straight off the analysis page.
  14. Official Smogon University Simulator Statistics — July 2012

I don't think you're giving Infernape enough credit. While he faces some tough competition from Terrakion as a Scarfed Fighting type, he has some key differences to set himself apart. Some of them you mentioned, like U-Turn and the ability to smack Sun teams hard, but you missed the biggest one...
  15. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

    1) Two weeks. 2) The C&C forum is for correcting or adding to the on-site guides, while the metagame forum is about the game itself. If you're looking for set though, it's best to start here. 3) I'm confused by the question.
  16. Most threatening Pokemon behind a substitute?

I'm going with SubPunch Breloom. Once he's safe behind a Sub, there's almost no way you can avoid getting something crippled by Spore or straight-up KOed by Focus Punch. With Poison Heal, he has the chance to set up multiple times a game with little (if any) net health loss.
  17. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

Sorry, but not true. ScarfZone can't outspeed a huge number of threats that ScarfTon can. For example, Magneton gets the jump on +1 Adamant Gyarados, Dugtrio, Alakazam, Tornadus-T and all positive nature Base 115s. The difference in Special Attack isn't that big of a deal, since Magneton is...
  18. League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

Thanks for the advice! I ended up buying Blitz and I love him (well, after the first game since now I can actually land power grab lol).
  19. Metagame Analyses: Gen VI changes

The difference between Sap Sipper, Flash Fire, and Storm Drain (And I forgot Lightningrod, so that too) is that those either raise the power of a move type or raise stats. Other immunity abilities don't.
