I had a shiny Gible once hatching eggs but it was accidently tossed because I wasn't paying attention and it wasn't the nature I wanted. I was a little miffed at the time but didn't bother me too much since they essentially look the same.

How's this for BT luck. Went against a Rhyperior with a quick claw. It activates and OHKO starmie with megahorn, Garchomp EQ takes it to 1% and Rhyperior's EQ criticals to OHKO Garchomp. Then quick claw activates again for hammer arm OHKO on ttar >.>

I would say Rhyperior has failed me the most of all the ones I've bred. Still a decent threat but I feel better off with faster options that can hit hard as well. I've had a few problems with Electivire too. Even with the motor drive boost I'll usually get something like a swampert switched...

One thing I noticed but not sure if it was fixed is it doesn't enforce a freeze clause like it does sleep. If you mouse over the pokeball that's greyed out but not x'd out you can tell which statuses are inflicted on your party My Weavile on it has access to ice punch...

I've never had any luck with shinies myself. I still don't own one from the wild or breeding going over 300 hours on pearl and had even more on sapphire/emerald combined, but I don't care to check those right now.

I know the gamespot in the mall near me is holding the event but I work in the afternoon that day >< Hoping it starts in the morning though I still need to check the rules. If DT isn't banned I'll expect to see a number of people with DT teams...and I'll probably bring my Jolteon for a DT pass...

I was breeding Gibles and one of them had a Red Star near the upper right of the Pokemon's picture. I couldn't see what was different about it and still have no idea why it was there. Friend says it was a shiny apparantly that I tossed, oh well XD

I'm up to 49 with Gyarados/Electivire/Metagross, but I fear my team is too slow for the higher tiers so I'm thinking of replacing Metagross with Garchomp, but Metagross is just so powerful, even facing opponents with SE moves I just use explosion and take them out with me XD Though the last...

It's the addition of online features for me. I used to play quite heavily back in the days of RBYGS but with the ADV games coming out while in college. I've always loved the games and TCG but previous time constraints and no transportation put a damper in what I was able to do.

Forgive me if this question has already been answered, but I'm wondering if there's a patch for berry farming like there was sapphire/ruby. Haven't seen any particularly good spots so far but I'm just up to training to defeat the Elite 4 so I'm not sure if there's any good spots in the areas...
