• Arcues-Ground is a potent bulky set up sweeper thanks to its good typing, excellent base stats and access to Calm Mind.
• Judgment is a reliable STAB attack that deals strong, consistent damage allowing Arceus-Ground to hit common foes such as Primal Groudon, Eternatus and Zacian-C for super effective damage.
• Calm Mind allows Arceus-Ground to Break through walls allowing it to OHKO Primal Groudon and Bulky Eternatus at +1 and 2HKO Ferrothorn, Recover provides Arceus-Ground with a needed longevity as it can easily switch into Resisted moves such as Eternatus Sludge Bomb or Primal Groudon Stone Edge and can heal off the damage.
• Ice beam enables Arceus-Ground to threaten foes that can take Ground-type moves OHKOing Mega Salamence and Rayquaza while also getting a OHKO at Zygarde at +1. Alternatively, Power Gem is used instead to specifically 2HKO Ho-Oh while still hitting Yveltal and Mega Salamence.
• Tera Ground enables Arceus-Ground to Muscle through Primal Groudon, Eternatus and Necrozma-DM and can 2HKO Zygarde at +1 for sets that lacks Ice Beam
• Using Arceus-Ground early-game can be effective for breaking through defensive cores as it can easily find opportunities to set up Calm Mind as it pressure some common foes such as Primal Groudon and Zygarde and force them to Tera or to switch, which is appreciated by teammates such as Necrozma-DM and Zacian-C. It also has good synergy with the aforementioned teammates, as it helps them beat physical walls like Dondozo and opposing Necrozma-DM
• Arceus-Ground struggles to beat special walls such as Chansey and Giratina, so teammates likea Zacian-C and Mega Salamence are important.
• Its Ground typing leaves it open to being vulnerable to strong Water-type foes such as Primal Kyogre, Palkia-O and Arceus-Water highlighting the need for teammates like Primal Groudon, Chansey and Eternatus.
