[Overview]

Cofagrigus has access to Nasty Plot and Trick Room, which, combined with its decent Special Attack and very low Speed, makes it a threatening late-game cleaner. Its Ghost typing also allows it to work as a spinblocker for offensive teams. Cofagrigus has great bulk, making it easier to set up; however, low HP and the lack of a recovery option make it harder to win games if it has already been weakened. Due to its mediocre Special Attack and lack of powerful coverage, even boosted Cofagrigus struggles to break specially bulky Pokemon such as Registeel, Porygon2, Snorlax, Umbreon, and Meloetta. Once Trick Room is set, Cofagrigus has only four turns to act before it ends, limiting its capabilities.

move 4: Hidden Power Fighting

nature: Quiet

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Trick Room makes Cofagrigus act before virtually everything for the next four turns. Nasty Plot boosts Cofagrigus's Special Attack to very high levels. Cofagrigus's main STAB attack is Shadow Ball, which hits most of the tier for neutral damage. Hidden Power Fighting hits Normal- and Dark-types, giving Cofagrigus perfect neutral coverage and OHKOing Bewear at +2 almost always after a layer of Spikes; however, Cofagrigus still struggles to do much against most Normal-type Pokemon.

Set Details
========
A Quiet nature with 0 Speed IVs ensures that Cofagrigus will be as slow as possible to outspeed more threats under Trick Room. The EVs in HP and Defense ensure that Cofagrigus will never be 4HKOed by Umbreon from full HP, beating it more easily. The rest of the EVs are put in Special Attack to make Cofagrigus hit as hard as possible. Ghostium Z allows Cofagrigus to use a very powerful Never-Ending Nightmare to weaken or KO a bulkier threat, and it KOes Chesnaught and Gligar at +2 and Quagsire after some prior damage. Mummy is the only ability available, allowing Cofagrigus to cripple Pokemon making contact that rely on their ability such as Araquanid, Mega Glalie and Guts Machamp.

Usage Tips
========
It's usually better to preserve Cofagrigus's HP until late-game when the opposing team is weakened and Cofagrigus can sweep. It should wait for Protect users such as Registeel and Umbreon to be removed, since Protect will stall out Trick Room, making Cofagrigus easier to revenge kill later. Cofagrigus can also be used to weaken the opposing team for a teammate to sweep later; however, it works better as a late-game sweeper. Cofagrigus should use Nasty Plot before Trick Room, leaving it with four turns to attack instead of three. It also can work as an emergency check to some threat if there's no need using Cofagrigus to sweep. If the opponent has a Chesnaught, it's worth saving the Z-Move for it, as it is immune to Shadow Ball thanks to Bulletproof and takes low damage from Hidden Power Fighting. Cofagrigus can also set up Trick Room for a slow teammate to weaken the opposing team; however, its teammate will only have three turns or fewer to benefit from Cofagrigus's Trick Room.

Team Options
========
Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Gardevoir and Pangoro can help pressure Cofagrigus's checks such as Umbreon and Registeel, and they can also make use of Trick Room against faster teams. Fighting-types such as Bewear can help Cofagrigus against Dark-types such as Pangoro and Umbreon. Dark-types such as Sneasel and Drapion check threatening Ghost-types such as Mismagius and Hoopa. Similarly, Normal-types such as Snorlax and Meloetta are also able to check Ghost-types for Cofagrigus. Entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Nidoqueen, Archeops, Froslass, Chesnaught, and Mega Glalie makes it easier for Cofagrigus to sweep later, and Cofagrigus can work to prevent Rapid Spin. Nidoqueen can provide Stealth Rock and pressure Registeel, while Cofagrigus can pressure most Psychic-types in the tier.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Thanks to Cofagrigus's decent support movepool with access to moves like Will-O-Wisp, Toxic Spikes, Haze, and Pain Split, a defensive set could be used to check threats such as Machamp, Mega Glalie, and Araquanid better. However, it's heavily overshadowed by Jellicent, which has access to reliable recovery, Taunt, and a better typing.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon such as Snorlax, Porygon2, Meloetta, Umbreon, and Registeel can take Cofagrigus's hits and cripple it with Toxic or attack it; Umbreon and Registeel in particular can use Protect to stall out Trick Room, making it easier to revenge kill Cofagrigus. Meloetta is particularly a great check thanks to its bulk and typing, which give it an immunity to Shadow Ball and let it take very low damage from +2 Hidden Power Fighting, and ability to use Cofagrigus as a fodder to set up Calm Mind.

**Ghost-types**: Hoopa, Mismagius, and Decidueye can beat Cofagrigus outside of Trick Room with a powerful Ghost-type Z-Move. Hoopa can also KO Cofagrigus, even without a Z-Move, after Stealth Rock damage. However, they can't switch into Cofagrigus or beat it under Trick Room.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types such as Sneasel and Pangoro can severely weaken or KO Cofagrigus; however, they have to be careful, since Cofagrigus takes less damage from Knock Off due to it holding a Z-Crystal, and +2 Hidden Power Fighting can OHKO them.

  • Cofagrigus has a great bulk allowing it to check some threats even without maximum investment.
  • Mummy allows it to work as an emergency check to Pokemon relying on their abilities such as Araquanid, Machamp and Glalie-Mega.
Considering the main and only set right now is trick room I don't see how those two points in the overview are relevant. It's a sweeper and should be used as such, you can't have your cake and eat it too!

  • However, Cofagrigus faces competition from faster Pokemon such as Hoopa, Salazzle, and Mismagius who don't have to rely on Trick Room and have options to set up on Registeel without fearing Toxic.
I get the point you're trying to make here but I'm not sure if it's worth having.. like cofag's niche is trick room, those mons dont generally use/utilize trick room, so feels a bit unnecessary and incorrect to have it there.

Overall the overview should reflect how it's main and biggest niche is being a TR sweeper.

  • Hidden Power Fighting hits Normal- and Dark-types, giving Cofagrigus perfect neutral coverage and OHKOing Bewear after some prior damage.
sounds a bit vague. how much prior damage?

In usage tips, put a point about when to use nasty plot and when to use trick room, generally it should be np > tr so that u get 4 turns instead of 3, unless you're in a situation where shadow ball itself unboosted will sweep (unlikely but hey, u never know)

Another thing to note in usage tips is bulletproof users (kommo and chesnaught) and how they're immune to Shadow Ball, but not z-Shadow Ball.

In c&c when mentioning dark-types mention also how since cofag is holding a z-move knock off is significantly weakened so they have to watch out for that.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Mention that it learns Nasty Plot and Trick Room. Probably work in its low speed w/ a sentence after mentioning Trick Room, rather than before.
  • When mentioning low HP hampering bulk, instead mention that it typically has to wait until late game or be given a free turn to attempt a sweep.
  • Mention why it struggles to break these specially bulky pokemon, e.g. lack of good attacking/coverage moves outside of Shadow Ball, having to use HP Fighting which... sucks.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • Good, simple moves so gj.

Set Details
========
  • When mentioning the 4HKOed by Umbreon bit, maybe mention how this allows you to beat it or something, or setup on it? You should know specifics.
  • Change it to mention their abilities e.g. Guts users such as Machamp. Maybe mention Water Bubble?
Usage Tips
========
  • Mention "unless it is able to sweep without a Nasty Plot boost" when mentioning Nasty Plot/Trick Room ordering?
  • Make it "If the opponent has a Pokemon with the ability Bulletproof, such as Chesnaught or Kommo-o,..." and mention that HP Fighting will do like nothing to them.
  • Mention specifically that they'll have typically 3 turns or less.

Team Options
========
  • Fightinium Zoroark would do a better job of breaking Regi/Umbreon I think. Maybe list another Wallbreaker as well.
  • Maybe mention Dark-types checking Ghosts as well, Sneasel/Zoroarok?
  • Mention other spikes users like Chesnaught or Mega Glalie, as Froslass is usually a HO exclusive mon and IDK if Cofag fits on HO. Maybe just compress this into a "Entry hazard setter" section, mention some other rock setters, and then talk about how cofag functions as a spinblocker. Change the "after froslass is gone" to just something like "Cofag can defend spikes(or entry hazards, whatever you decide on) from opposing Rapid Spin users".
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • This is good.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: I'd mention that Umbreon/Registeel also stall out Trick Room so that it is more easily revenge killed.

**Ghost-types**: Mention that these Pokemon typically have to revenge kill you, since they can't switch into a Never Ending Nightmare. Also mention that they can't do this under Trick Room.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types such as Zoroark and Pangoro can severely weaken or KO Cofagrigus, however Physical Zoroark sets and Pangoro have to be careful since Z-Move will weaken Knock Off and a +2 Hidden Power Fighting can OHKO them.

About the thing "3 turns or less" I already have something mentioning to try using NP > TR to have 4 turns instead of 3, I can't see how would I fit that phrase
The rest is implemented (u didn't make it clear if I should just add other Spikes setters or put them and remove Froslass but I'm keeping Froslass unless u say so cuz Cofagrigus can work on HO teams from what I've seen)
Edit: Implemented

Oh btw I replaced Zoro with Pangoro as a wallbreaker cuz ig it works better (cuz Fight Z Zoro wont be used alongside Ghost Z Cofag) and Zoro is under Dark types already (while Pangoro isnt cuz cant pressure Hoopa at all)

Implemented, just in the end in the bulky typing think, it was supposed to be bulk and typing, like this:
"Meloetta is particularly a great check, thanks to its bulk and typing, being immune to Shadow Ball, taking very low damage from a +2 Hidden Power Fighting, and being able to use Cofagrigus as a fodder to set up Calm Mind."
I put this, if I should rephrase that lmk but anyway sorry for my several mistakes and mainly this part since I could have prevented this if I paid more attention.
Ready for 2nd check

tdp edit: do "thanks to its bulk and typing, which give it an immunity to Shadow Ball and let it take very low damage from a +2 Hidden Power Fighting, and ability to use etc etc"

Meloetta is particularly a great check,(RC) thanks to its bulk and typing, which give it an immunity to Shadow Ball and let it take very low damage from a +2 Hidden Power Fighting, and ability to use Cofagrigus as a fodder to set up Calm Mind.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types such as Sneasel and Pangoro can severely weaken or KO Cofagrigus,; (semi-colon, not comma) Cofagrigus;(SC) however, they have to be careful, since Z-Move Cofagrigus takes less damage from Knock Off due to it holding a Z-Crystal, and a +2 Hidden Power Fighting can OHKO them.
