Latios @ Expert Belt
252Sp.Atk / 252Spe / 4Hp ; Timid Nature
-Draco Meteor
-Psyshock
-Surf
-Hidden Power [Fire]

Latios is one of the best counter around to Virizion, resisting to his Stabs and taking well Hidden Power [Ice]. Futhermore, it outspeed Virizion and OHKO it neatly with Psyshock. Expert Belt to lure the Choice items, Draco Meteor is Latios's strongest attack and is the crux of this set, Surf and Hidden Power [Fire] give great coverage with Latios's Dragon-type STAB, the former super effectively hitting defensive behemoths such as Tyranitar, and the latter decimating Steel-types hoping to switch into a resisted attack, mainly Scizor and Ferrothorn.

obvious counter -

name: Specially Defensive
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Crunch
move 3: Pursuit
move 4: Superpower
item: Leftovers
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD

Tyranitar can switch in freely on any of Expert Belt Latios's moves - Surf doesn't even 3HKO with Leftovers recovery [30.19 - 35.64%], and Draco Meteor is in the same boat [29.95 - 35.64%]. Tyranitar can then trap and eliminate Latios as it switches out with Pursuit [99.33 - 116.54%, a sure KO], and since most Latios will just predict the obvious trap-kill with Pursuit and stay in to get some more damage with Surf, you can even just Crunch for the OHKO. This Tyranitar set also makes for a great special tank in general that hard-counters Chandelure and soaks up special attacks with its huge special bulk in the sand, setting up Stealth Rock when the opportunity arises. Superpower is mainly filler, but it OHKOes other Tyranitar as well as standard Ferrothorn most of the time [93.18 - 109.65% on the latter].
