:Cresselia:
[OVERVIEW]

* Cresselia shines in VGC as an incredibly bulky Trick Room setter with access to Lunar Blessing. Cresselia is a great check to Amoonguss and Urshifu-R, nullifying Spore with Lunar Blessing and pressuring the latter with a 2HKO.

* Cresselia's strongest partner is Ursaluna, as it's a strong Trick Room sweeper that appreciates Lunar Blessing negating the burn chip damage. Cresselia's Levitate also allows Ursaluna to freely click Earthquake. Cresselia also appreciates Pokemon like Amoonguss and Iron Hands, which help get up Trick Room and act as threats under Trick Room themselves.

* Cresselia struggles against Incineroar, as Fake Out can allow Incineroar's partner to get off another hit, which can be the difference between setting up Trick Room and not. Cresselia also faces issues against Farigiraf, which can reverse or Imprison Trick Room. Tornadus can also prove to be difficult, as Taunt prevents Trick Room from going up and takes advantage of Cresselia's passivity.

- Helping Hand / Ice Beam / Ally Switch

[SET COMMENTS]

* Cresselia uses Moonblast to hit more of the metagame for super effective damage, including Urshifu-S, while Ice Beam can be used to threaten the Landorus formes and Dragonite. Cresselia may opt for Psychic for the extra power before Terastallization.

* Helping Hand allows Cresselia to more actively support its partners, especially Ursaluna and its Earthquake. Cresselia can use Ally Switch to provide game-deciding mind games and a way to protect its partners in a pinch.

* Cressellia uses Safety Goggles to protect itself from Amoonguss's Spore and be able to consistently protect its teammates with Lunar Blessing.

* The EV spread allows Cresselia to almost always survive two Mystic Water Surging Strikes from Urshifu-R, and always avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Moonblast.

* Tera Fairy is the most consistent for Cresselia, as it provides a resistance to the common Dark-type moves such as Urshifu-S's Wicked Blow or Kingambit's Kowtow Cleave, as well as gaining STAB on Moonblast. Tera Poison is a generally good defensive typing further bolstered by Levitate, and it provides key resistances to Flutter Mane's Moonblast and Rillaboom's STAB moves.

* Cresselia uses Moonblast to hit more of the metagame for super effective chip damage Think I would mention Urshifu in particular here, while Ice Beam can be used to threaten Landorus formes and Dragonite. Cresselia may opt for Psychic due to the extra power pre-Terastallization.

* Helping Hand allows Cresselia to more actively support its partners, especially Ursaluna and its Earthquake. (AP) Cresselia can use Ally Switch over the two to provide game-deciding mind games and a way to protect its partners in a pinch. (Made this its own bullet as its talking about a different move slot)

* Cresellia uses Safety Goggles to protect itself from Amoonguss' Spore, and be able to consistently protect its teammates with Lunar Blessing.

* The EV spread allows Cresselia to almost always survive two Mystic Water Surging Strikes from Urshifu-R, and always avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Moonblast.

* Tera Fairy is the most consistent for Cresselia as it provides a resistance to the common Dark-type moves from Urshifu-S and Kingambit (Just a point on how this flows to me: I'd prefer to talk about the moves when we reference the moves and not just the Pokemon. Even just saying "such as Urshifu's Wicked Blow and Kingambit's Kowtow Cleave" is totally fine.), as well as STAB on Moonblast. Cresselia can utilize Tera Poison to gain key resistances to Flutter Mane, Rillaboom, and the Ogerpon forme's STAB moves (Careful here, it doesn't resist Ivy Cudgel so might not be a helpful mention all in all), as well as exploit (I try to avoid using a word like exploit in my analyses, just cause it doesn't have the best connotations linked with it.) Levitate's Ground immunity. (I would maybe reword this a sentence a bit so it doesn't feel like we're just tacking this on the end. Maybe like "Tera Poison is a generally solid defensive typing, benefitting from Levitate and providing key resistances to Flutter Mane's Moonblast and Rillaboom.")

[OVERVIEW]

* Cresselia shines in VGC thanks to being an incredibly bulky Trick Room settter with access to Lunar Blessing. Cresselia is a great check to Amoonguss and Urshifu-R, nullifying Spore from the former with Lunar Blessing, and pressuring the latter with a 2HKO from Psychic.
Nowhere in this thread does it mention how Spore gets nullified. As the grammar checker, you shouldn't be adding extra content for two reasons:
  • The role that Cresselia fills is jurisdiction of the QC team. As a grammar checker, your primary goal is to just make the sentence coherent.
  • You're actively altering the message that the author is trying to say. As a grammar checker, you are trying to make what the author is saying more clear while keeping the points that they are trying to make.
* Cresselia's strongest partner is Ursaluna, as it's a strong Trick Room sweeper that appreciates Lunar Blessing as it negatinges the burn chip damage. Cresselia's Levitate also allows Ursaluna to freely click Earthquake. Cresselia also appreciates Pokemon like Amoonguss and Iron Hands, which help get up Trick Room and they both act as threats under Trick Room themselves.
  • The way that you reworded the first sentence makes it less readable. Leaving it as "appreciates Lunar Blessing negating the burn chip damage" makes the point less choppy and doesn't make it any less grammatically valid. If we were to rewrite the sentence but use a synonym for "as" in "because," we would read "Cresselia's strongest partner is Ursaluna, because it's a strong Trick Room sweeper that appreciates Lunar Blessing, because it negates the burn chip damage." This highlights how choppy the sentence becomes.
  • If you are to add "as it" in the way that you did, you should add a comma after "Lunar Blessing," since the word "as" is a synonym for "since" and "because," which require commas before explanatory clauses.
  • Since you transformed the last sentence into two independent clauses ("They both act as threats under Trick Room themselves" can be an independent clause), then you need to add a comma before the "and" since you are connecting two independent clauses.
* Cresselia struggles against Incineroar, as Fake Out can allow Incineroar's partner to get off another hit, which can be the difference between setting up Trick Room and not. Knock Off also deals a lot of damage to Cresselia, and it removes its Safety Goggles. Cresselia also faces issues against Farigiraf, which can reverse or Imprison Trick Room. Tornadus can also prove to be difficult, as Taunt prevents Trick Room from going up and takes advantage of Cresselia's passivity.
The "Knock Off also deals a lot of damage to Cresselia, and it removes its Safety Goggles." sentence is the same case as the earlier Lunar Blessing addition; it is the jurisdiction of QC to add that detail, not GP. A good way to break that habit is to do GP checks for metagames that you are not familiar with, since your playing brain isn't interfering with your grammar brain.

Removing content is the same idea as adding new content. If QC left in Ursaluna's EQ, it probably wasn't worth removing. Additionally, if you wish to add punctuation, you should add an indicator that you've added punctuation such as "(AP)".
* Cresellia uses Safety Goggles to protect itself from Amoonguss' Spore, and as a way be able to consistently protect its teammates with Lunar Blessing.
You have to correct misspellings as a GP checker, and in this case, "Cresellia" is misspelled. Additionally, "as a way to consistenly protect its teammates with Lunar Blessing" is not a complete clause, so you should not have a comma before the "and."
* The EV spread allows Cresselia to almost always survive two Mystic Water Surging Strikes from Urshifu-R, and always avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Moonblast.

* Tera Fairy is the most consistent for Cresselia as it provides a resistance to the common Dark-type moves such as Urshifu-S's Wicked Blow or Kingambit's Kowtow Cleave, as well as STAB on Moonblast. Tera Poison is a generally good defensive typing, further bolstered by Levitate, and provides key resistances to Flutter Mane's Moonblast and Rillaboom's STAB moves.
  • Again, because "as" is a synonym for "because" here, it should have a comma before it.
  • I'm not too sure why there is a comma before "further bolstered by..." It's not a point that needs to be separated by a comma.
  • "Provides key resistances to Flutter Mane's Moonblast and Rillaboom's STAB moves" is not an independent clause, so there shouldn't be a comma before "and." However, I opted to turn it into an independent clause because it is more readable.
