Big thanks to Bummer for this awesome artwork!
What is Doubles UU?
Doubles UU, sometimes abbreviated as duu, dubs uu, or even just uu in the context of doubles, is exactly what it sounds like. It's a doubles metagame in which the pokemon in Doubles OU by usage are banned.

Where can I play it?
You can find a game on the showdown ladder, by selecting Doubles UU under SM Doubles formats. Alternatively, you can ask for a game in the doubles room on showdown, where you can battle more experienced players.

pretty basic scizor balance, goal is to destroy scizor checks or weaken them to the point where scizor cleans, a big part of using this team correctly is preserving arcanine, as it serves as the teams best fire resist besides rotom-w, this team can struggle vs opposing well played fires, the trick is to keep them at bay with washtom or naga. pretty straightforward team overall

thund/latios are definitely the best 2 mons in the metagame, with victini + maybe keldeo/kyurem-b not far behind. krook has been surprisingly good with the even more scarce intimidate and puts on a ton of pressure with tec rage, definitely try it!

A lot of the new Beast Boost mons are held back by awful match ups in DOU but I see a ton of potential for them in DUU.
Here is the sub-Xurkitree set that has worked out great so far.
Being that the meta is so new I didnt try to over complicate things and went all bulk into SpD so the substitute can take a hit. Its base 173 SpA is already strong enough, after one beast boost you are at 573spa.
I run dazzling gleam as the secondary attack; there are some bulky dragons that Thunderbolt does not threaten and being able to get around a follow me or wide guard is valuable.

sharing teams? ok

I built this around Choice Band Zygarde 10% which I think Tymano mentioned to me; originally I had Meowstic to mess with Z-TR through Prankster Safeguard with it. I then added double bulky setup with Sylveon and Snorlax, some speed control with Hydreigon, and the only bulky Steel I could think of. Meowstic wasn't working out so I changed some sets around and added Z-TR Counter Extraordinaire Chesto Berry Mew, and with the semi-TR option it's working out a lot better :) Zygarde's pretty good against more offensive teams that struggle to handle the constant Thousand Arrows damage output, although it struggles a bit against bulky teams

I think Zygarde deserves a spot on the proto-VR but I haven't really had much time to see it in action, so who knows

EDIT: I EV'd Mew to outrun positive base 70s by two points. This was a conscious decision. Setting Trick Room in front of a Breloom, also known as "one of the Pokemon I deliberately tried to outspeed," was also a conscious decision. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed.

sharing teams?

I like your team, but I have a few nit picks. Sylveon has both Moonblast and Pixelate Hyper Voice, which is kinda redundant. I would get rid of Moonblast, since Pixelate HV is objectively better, and replace it with Shadow Ball. Zygarde 10 % has the same problem with Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves. I would keep Thousand Arrows since it hits flying types, and replace Thousand Waves with Outrage. Other than this, I really like your team!

EDIT: you could also replace Moonblast with Dazzling Gleam if you would rather have a double hitting move than coverage.

Hyper voice is a spread move, so Moonblast hits harder on a single target.

Whoops, my bad
My point still stands on zygarde though
You can't select a target with Outrage, making the move clumsy at best and outright harmful to winning at worst.

I ultimately decided that because I was using my fourth move slot (Rock Slide at first) in exactly zero percent of the games I played, I could use any move I wanted and get the exact same efficiency - so I just went with the move that sounded the coolest. The only reason it isn't just Thousand Arrows and Sleep Talk is because I wanted Superpower for Snorlax and Extreme Speed for priority.

Well, can't argue with that logic.

On Z-TR:

So there's been some discussion between DUU players on how unhealthy Z trick room + hypnosis is on specifically the Pokemon Musharna and Mew. Now, if this were singular to a certain mon, say only Musharna got the combination of Hypnosis or Trick Room, we would have to ban the Pokemon itself, but this combo can be used on Pokemon like Hypno and Exeggutor (w/ Sleep Powder even) so we have to look at the combination of Psychium Z and Trick Room.

I personally think Z-TR with sleep is unhealthy. It heavily limits interaction during battles, and forces extreme counter-teaming to beat outright, which is never good, but especially not good in a metagame that is primarily played on the ladder, where you can see all sorts of teams. Even if you only manage to put 1 Pokemon to sleep, the threat of being put to sleep severely limits the plays your opponent can make, while they basically have to swap between their sleep checks and protecting. The worst part about Z-TR is it gives your extremely offensive Trick Room mons, like Sylveon and Snorlax, an easy time setting up, since everything is being put to sleep. I will showcase Z-Trick Room in action in the following replays. I know some of these teams I face aren't the best - they use subpar Pokemon and/or have little to deal with Trick Room at all - but hopefully they will still shed some light on how damaging Z-TR and sleep is to Doubles UU.

Replay 1: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7doublesuu-551746947 Musharna wins me this game easily, due in part to the threat of sleep but also in part to the lackluster mon choice on my opponent's side. This isn't the most damaging replay you'll see, but it does show how easy it is to dominate a ladder game with this strategy.

Replay 2: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7doublesuu-548364644 This one is just horrible. My opponent is at the top of the ladder currently - not the most noteworthy achievement sure, but he obviously isn't terrible. He leads an exact counter to my lead: Sky Drop and Spore. I still, however, manage to get Trick Room up, and through actual sleep and just the threat of sleep, I win easily. I do get fairly lucky with an Iron Head flinch on Aerodactyl, which presumably allows Snorlax to stay alive, But I more than likely won the game regardless.

Replay 3: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7doublesuu-547054372 This is the first of a two game series - this one is pretty straightforward, I just put stuff to sleep and win. I honestly don't even play that well but I sleep like 3 or 4 of his mons or something and end by sweeping with lax.

Replay 4: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7doublesuu-547057512 I tried to throw him off here in game 2, since he updated his team with Tangela to be a little less Trick Room weak, so I didn't lead my autopilot lead. You can guess what happens - it takes me a few turns of poor play again on my part, but I still get TR, put stuff to sleep, and win. Musharna's decent bulk is shown here too - I live a V-Create and a +1 Dazzling Gleam from Nihilego with room to spare.

Replay 5: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7doublesuu-547043574 this is marilli vs xpat - as much as I hate marilli's Z-TR team (why the fuck does it have an electabuzz) this battle showcases the dangers of what z-tr teams can do.

Replay 6: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7doublesuu-546804795 marilli's team again, this time vs. frania. Marilli comes back from down 5-3 to win with the sleep and BD lax.

So I'm tired and going to bed, and can find more replays later if it seems necessary, but hopefully this will be enough to show that something needs to be done about Psychium Z + Trick Room + Sleep. I am specifically asking for a ban on those three things on the same Pokemon: Psychium Z, Trick Room, and a sleep move, whether it be Hypnosis or Sleep Powder or what have you. Thank you for your time!

Snorlax is a bigger culprit of TR's predominance. A super-fast super-bulky mon who can max its Atk stat while restoring its health back to full is insane (and it can heal itself multiple times thanks to Recycle). Even when TR is gone, it has the bulk to tank Charizard X's Flare Blitz and Metagross's Meteor Mash @.@. Z-TR sleep is merely facilitating Snorlax's epik sweep, but TR will remain OP as long as Belly Lax is allowed.

tl;dr - get rid of Belly Drum (Linoone is dumb, too) and/or Snorlax

So, I remembered that pixelate gives an extra boost to moves it makes fairy. Hyper voice becomes 108 bp, making it stronger than moonblast. So, having moonblast is irrelevant since pixelate HV is stronger and double hits.
Spread moves have a power reductionwhen hitting multiple opponents at once, making Moonblast stronger against a single opponent when there is more than one opponent on the field.

Ztrickroom is great in DOU. In DUU it's too much, it's broken.

Commonly use fake out to support to support the setter from being double targeted.
In DOU you can remove the fake out support through one of the most viable mons lele.
In DOU you have koko and fini to stay awake
In DOU you have more viable substitute mons that wall setters such as Heatran
In DOU the viable mons are generally stronger and have easier time killing the setter.

In DUU we lack a lot of the tools that DOU has to keep Ztrickroom in check.

Pocket - I agree Snorlax is pretty fucking nuts as well. The problem is that you can still check snorlax fairly well - anything with knock off and a solid fighting type, scrafty by itself or keldeo/terrak with redirection - as long as they aren't asleep! Hell, literally anything would do a better job at taking care of lax than an asleep Pokemon. In DOU, you have (had) Jirachi which could both Trick Room and Follow Me for Snorlax, but it's way tougher in DUU to both Trick Room and then set up a Snorlax with extra support if you can't put stuff to sleep.

this is a mega venusaur semi room team, because i dont see mega venusaur despite the tier 2 ranking. the evs are from oras benchmarks, but they provide good longevity. standard set. terrakion pairs well since its typing pairs great with our mega, taking out fire and flying types, and the occasional rare ice type for it. taunt is a nice move to have to block tailwind/non-z trick room, and set up. scarf genesect gives this team a solid speed boost, and good coverage. kyurem black is the dragon of choice because it works nicely on semi room, substitute set bops many things, and is just solid overall. victini is the room setter, and gives the team a fire type, along with balanced stats, and an answer to scizor mega. keldeo is there because f/w/g core, its another solid check to scizor, and icy wind provides a bit of speed control if you dont choose to trick room.

so this team is more of a bunch of solid pokemon slaped into a squad of 6. charizard x has few reliable counters and is a good set up pokemon. keldeo here makes a good partner or it due to type synergy. substitute set here is used as a "clever" way to dodge sleep forms, but quick guard is interesting to bop thundurus from thunderwave/taunting charizard. snorlax was put here to sponge a few hits, but mostly to not get destroyed under trick room. its also a good wincondition if you clear its checks late game. thundurus is here to facilitate the lives of both setters, taunting and thunderwaving counters. incinerate is a very interesting move, since it hits mega scizor pretty nicely, and stops berries. metagross is a cool sleep switch in with googles, and is nice defensively. sylveon sings glorious songs, hp fire for scizor. fairy dragon steel

scizor is the mega of choice for this team, standard set. gyarados was chosen to cover for fire types that arent victini, and for its ability intimidate which is good in general, and helps scizor set up. running lum here is useful to stop sleep, potential burns and to be able to dragon dance on thundurus switch in, bait it to thunderwave and stone edge it away. hoopa here has trick room because this team does not have reliable trick room checks, thus giving you a way to reverse setting it, plus bulky scizor isnt bad under trick room either since no speed. thundurus is here to taunt set up, trick room or tailwind, and speed control with thunderwave. incenrate for opposing scizors and berries. breloom here gives the team sleep infliction, another bonus for the dual set up, works great in tailwind too. more priority doesnt hurt either. togekiss is yet one more form of speed control, ultra helpful for the set up with follow me, and intimidate+ light screen = bulk for days

Trick room time! mega blastoise was chosen for w-a-t-e-r s-p-o-u-t . fake out is also nice to set trick room, as they usually go for the setter, leaving you at full hp. musharna is the reliable setter with psychium z, adding hypnosis to its arsenal after the accuracy boost. snorlax belly drums pretty well in trick room , and becomes a massive threat quite fast. victini here is to help cover for grass types and scizor mega, which we lacked a direct answer for so far, as well as giving us another good setter since this is full trick room. tangela seals a fire/water/grass core, gives some more sleep and redirection helps most of this team's members. when you are done fooling around, you send out sylveon and it cleans up what the other members didnt with specs hypervoice

so this was actually an oras dou team, with gardevoir mega over sylveon and heatran over scizor mega, but i noticed it might work in doubles uu so i made the switches! the team features popular core: suiloom , which consists of tailwind and spore spam. snarl is a pretty interesting choice since it isnt usually seen coming, and the spatk drops are nice. breloom does what it does, with priority, fast spores, and adamant giving really strong bullet seeds. sylveon here abuses the winds behind it to make itself heard clear and loud, which hurts when its fast, outrunning latios under tailwind. landorus is somewhat fast outside of tailwind. its coverage is pretty good, with sludge bomb dealing with fairies (and grass types), earthpower being a truck with sheer force. focus blast is to dent snorlax, smart hydreigons who dodge earthpowers, and occasional scrafties, krookodiles, and kyurem black that think they check you with ice coverage. this team is pretty slow outside of tailwind, so latios holds it as well, alongside being a nice dragon in doubles uu, granting you nukes and synergy with sylveon and scizor, which brings us to our mega. uninvested its still fast enough to be a threat undertailwing, especially if it gets a swords dance.

now this squad is interesting because Yoda2798 is who really built it, but yet again for oras doubles ou. the one difference this time is that it had azumaril + jirachi instead of linoone and tangela, which were my own tweak to make this team great again work in gen 7 doubles uu. clefairy, togekiss, or blastoise seem like interesting follow me options as well tho, probably better for a fire type match up. i dont think i should be the one to talk about this team tho, but it's pretty full of some nice lure sets

Unranked -----> Tier 3

This mon should only ever be used under trick room, and with having the ability 'Anger Point' which boost Attack by 12 stages, there are a lot of unique sets that you could run. Persoanlly I think this set is the most effective,,

This might be a lot to take in at once, but the main point of this combo is for mew to utilise trick room and frost breath, which always results in a critical-hit. Which as i stated earlier, boosts you up to maximum Attack. This may sound really gimmick and crazy, but it's honestly really effective.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7doublesuu-576164451

this looks a bit more like a gimmick, rather than a usable, viable pokemon to me. i think it just did work in the replay because of the surprise factor, which would be lost once put on the vr. and even in the replay, it did not really do enough to justify using it, for me. you can just use tauros or another crazy pokemon and pull off a sweep, and call it viable, by that logic.
