The Team
In Depth
Rainbow (Charizard) (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Flamethrower
CVhoice Specs Charizard is VERY good. It hits like an absolute TRUCK! Fire Blast and air Slash for STAB. Flamethrower is there in case I don't have any more Fire Blasts after I send Charizard in again and HP Grass is there for all of those pesky Rock, Water and Electric types that could take Charizard's flames. I love this Charizard set... If only it wasn't so weak to rocks... Well, still, it hits a lot of the Metagame fairly hard.
Exeggutor (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 248 HP / 176 SAtk / 84 Spd
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain
- Psychic
This Exeggutor set takes advantage of its Harvest ability through the use of Rest+Lum Berry. It also has sleep Powder to put dangerous Pokemon to sleep as well as Giga Drain and Psychic for STAB and Coverage. This Pokemon can be VERY annoying if the opponent lets it. Constantly harvesting Lum Berries and then constantly Resting and instantly waking up. That is this Pokemon's strategy
Lappy (Lapras) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt (this specific move can be changed if need be)
- Surf
- Heal Bell
This is my specially defensive Lapras. It can take special hits very well. It has managed to survive super effective attacks at decent HP. Heal Bell is there just in case my Sawk gets burned or something like that where I need to cure status conditions. Surf and Ice Beam are there for STAB aattacks and Thunderbolt is there, just in case there's a Pokemon I'm facing that resists Surf and Ice Beam (Water types) but it has been proven that useful, so that moveslot can be changed if need be. Lapras has served her purpose well and has saved me many times.
X-Factor (Metang) @ Eviolite
Ability: Clear Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Meteor Mash
- Toxic
- Psych Up
This is posibly one of the wierdest sets I have ever used. It still has proven to be effective though. Stealth Rock is there for other pesky Charizard and other Pokemon weak to it. Meteor Mash is there for STAB, Toxic is there to poison walls and Psych Up is used in case someone is setting up on me. I can copy those stat boosts and use them against my opponent. It's not the best strategy in the world but Metang has helped me numerous times Metang may not be that helpful, but he still is a very nice bulky Pokemon.
Stephan (Sawk) @ Choice Band
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Stone Edge
Sawk is a VERy powerful Pokemon when given a Choice band. If any of you remember my old NU RMT, I used to get WRECKED by Sawk without a Musharna. This thing is DEADLY. Close Combat for Stab. Mold Breaker+Earthquake to ruin Eelektross's immunity. Ice Punch for those pesky bulky Dragon types and Stone Edge for flying types who dare come into an attack. This thing packs a serious punch and if you don't have a counter to it, then ONE of your teammates will have to die to it. It's just too strong... Makes me wonder why it's in the NU tier....
Casino Zone (Sneasel) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Pursuit
- Ice Punch
- Foul Play
- Ice Shard
(anyone who has played Sonic will know why I named a Shiny Sneasel Casino Zone) Last but not least, we have Sneasel, who is pretty powerful for a Pokemon that isn't fully evolved. It can Pursuit trap and outspeed a lot of Pokemon with that amazing speed stat and it can hit pretty hard when it has a Life Orb equipped. The moveset should be pretty self-explanatory. Pursuit for trapping Pokemon on switches, Ice Punh for STAB, Foul Play to take advantage of a Pokemon's high attack and Ice Shard for priority. Like I said, pretty self explanatory
So that's the team. Be as critical as possible with the ratings. I want this team to be the best NU team ever!
