Flygon is a threatening setup sweeper in the RU metagame with great STAB types and coverage options such as Fire Punch and Iron Tail. It is able to easily find setup opportunities via forcing Pokemon like Gigalith and Registeel out or by making use of its great typing, which gives it immunities to Ground and Electric as well as resistances to Fire and Rock, allowing it to set up on Salazzle lacking Hidden Power Ice, Gligar, and Choice-locked Pokemon. It can also perform as a revenge killer with a Choice Scarf due to its great Speed tier, which lets it outspeed almost the entire metagame.

Flygon @ Dragonium Z / Groundium Z
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Iron Tail

The set is pretty straightforward. Iron Tail lets Flygon muscle through Pokemon that can handle its STAB attacks such as Gardevoir (which can Trace Flygon's Levitate) and Whimsicott. Devastating Drake allows Flygon to break through Ground-resistant Pokemon like Chesnaught without having to lock itself into Outrage, which would leave it open to revenge killing. However, Groundium Z can be used to deal more damage to Pokemon like Escavalier and Durant and hit Fairy-types hard without relying on Iron Tail's low accuracy. Adamant is preferred because the power increase is more valuable than being able to outspeed Roserade and Moltres (and Speed tie with opposing Jolly Flygon), but a Jolly nature can still be used. Although Flygon can set up with ease on resisted hits or forced switches, it's recommended to bring it in without taking unnecessary damage via a partner's U-turn or Volt Switch.

Flygon is one of the best Pokemon in RU, but it has its flaws. Although it has decent stats overall, its defenses don't allow it to take many hits, even resisted ones. Also, Flygon's offensive power is lacking when unboosted, making it unable to easily KO some Pokemon. Its quadruple weakness to Ice also makes it prone to being revenge killed by Ice Shard from Pokemon like Mega Abomasnow and Mega Glalie, and it can't set up on defensive Pokemon that carry Ice-type coverage—for example, Ice Punch Rhyperior.

It can also perform a revenge killer role due to its great speed tier which let it outspeed almost the entire metagame with a Choice Scarf.
Start this sentence with the choice scarf mention instead of ending with it, less confusing that way. For z-outrage targets, mention Chesnaught instead of Shaymin.

Also, remove HP Grass Salazzle from the overview and replace it with "Salazzle lacking HP Ice", sounds better that way imo

The paragraph about his weaknesses sounds weird/confusing also, but I guess they get the point across.. I suppose if you're mentioning how weak its attack is, don't give examples of Pokemon that can't really do /that/ much against Flygon, just mention that it's a bit weak without boosts.

Flygon is a threatening setup sweeper in the RU metagame with great STABs STAB types and coverage options such as Fire Punch and Iron Tail, being able to easily find setup (Remove Space) opportunities via forcing Pokemon like Gigalith and Registeel out or by making use of its great typing. (RC, AP) [I had to break up the sentence, it was too long before and I was getting lost reading it.] which Its typing gives it immunities to Ground and Electric type, and as well as resistances to Fire- and Rock-type (AH) attacks, which allows allow it to set up on Salazzle lacking Hidden Power Ice, Gligar, (AC) and Choice-locked (AH) Pokemon. It can also perform in a revenge killer killing role [or 'perform as a revenge killer with...'] with a Choice Scarf due to its great Speed tier which lets it outspeed almost the entire metagame.

Flygon @ Dragonium Z / Groundium Z

Adamant nature / Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Outrage

The set is pretty straightforwardDragon (RC, Add mdash) Dance allows it Flygon to be a fearsome setup (Remove Space) sweeper, while dual STAB attacks hit a lot of the metagame hard and Iron Tail lets it muscle through Pokemon that can handle its STABs STAB attacks such as Gardevoir (which can trace Flygon's Levitate) and Whimsicott. Adamant nature is the preferred nature because the power increase is more valuable than being able to outspeed Roserade and Moltres (and Speed tie with opposing Jolly Flygon), but a Jolly Nature can still be used if you value outspeeding the aforementioned Pokemon, although you may miss the extra power. Dragonium Z is the preferred choice item because it gives Flygon a really strong Devastating Drake, which allows it to break through Ground resists Ground-resistant Pokemon like Chesnaught without locking itself into Outrage, which makes it prone to be revenge killed. Groundium Z can be used to deal more damage to Pokemon like Escavalier and Durant, (AC) and it [breaking up x and y and z] also can be used to hit Fairy-types (AH) hard without relying on Iron Tail's low accuracy. Although it Flygon can set up with ease on resisted hits or forced switches, it's recommended to bring it in without taking unnecessary damage via a partner's [optional] U-turn or Volt Switch.

Flygon is one of the best Pokemon in RU, but it has its flaws. Although it has decent stats overall, his its defensive stats doesn't don't allow him it to take much many hits, even resisted ones. Also, (AC) his Flygon's offensive power isn't that strong is lacking when unboosted, making it unable to easily kill KO some Pokemon. His Its quadruple weakness to Ice also makes it prone to being revenge killed by Ice Shard from Pokemon like Mega Glalie (RH) and Sneasel, and it can't set up (RH) on defensive Pokemon that carries carry Ice-type (AH) coveragefor (RC, Add mdash) example, (AC) Ice Punch Rhyperior.

Flygon surely is one of the faces of the RU metagame, so make sure you have the Dragon on your RU team and try him out!
