Magmortar @ Steelium Z
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 156 Atk / 252 SpA / 100 Spe
Mild Nature
- Iron Tail
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Earthquake

Clefairy is one of the best walls to Magmortar in PU, but not to this set. 156 Attack guarantees the OHKO on Clefairy with Steelium Z Iron Tail, and eliminates the opponents stealth rocker and Magmortar counter.

Magmortar @ Choice Specs
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt

Clef is the first time switch in to Magmortar a lot of the time, as unboosted Fire Blast can't 2hko. With Choice Specs equipped, Clef becomes an easy 2hko and will force it to always think twice about coming in. Some other neat things, Focus Blast ohkos almost every Regirock and Miltank variant after rocks as well as always 2hkoing Type: Null and about a 50% chance to 2hko Munchlax. I don't think HP Grass is as necessary on this set since Gastrodon and Lanturn will take a ton anyways from Focus Blast and HP Ice hits Alt for a guaranteed Ohko after rocks which is a pretty common fire resist atm.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magmortar Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Clefairy: 181-214 (52.6 - 62.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magmortar Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Regirock: 334-394 (91.7 - 108.2%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magmortar Hidden Power Ice vs. 248 HP / 164+ SpD Altaria: 316-372 (89.5 - 105.3%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magmortar Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Miltank: 376-444 (95.4 - 112.6%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magmortar Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Type: Null: 208-246 (52.7 - 62.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magmortar Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Munchlax: 224-264 (47.2 - 55.6%) -- 77.3% chance to 2HKO

Primeape @ Fist Plate
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Gunk Shot

Non choice primeape sets have gotten significantly better recently and this is one reason why. It's really easy to surprise Clefairy out of nowhere, especially if you have some other mon that they assumed wasn't the scarfer but really was (like scarf rocks mesprit or w/e). Aside from the set actually being a really good one on its own, Gunk Shot bops clef which is nice considering that clef is a legit pivot into this. Like it's not gonna be their first switchin to Primeape by any means, but considering at the moment people basically just assume primeape = scarf it happens enough for gunk to be quite useful (given my actual experience using this thing, not just on paper).
e: voting for manyy, also a fun set ive actually used and seen work

Abomasnow @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Wood Hammer
- Focus Blast

Special Abomasnow but you can click Wood Hammer on the switch (4 Atk Life Orb Abomasnow Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Clefairy: 187-220 (54.3 - 63.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO). Blizzard + Wood Hammer can also 2HKO depending on rolls.

Congratulations to LordST for winning with his Choice Specs Magmortar, with Many coming second with his Special Life Orb Wood Hammer Abomasnow!

Week 14

Spiritomb @ Black Glasses
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
- Shadow Sneak
- Will-O-Wisp

We just experienced some very meta changing shifts, with Spiritomb dropping being one of the most impactful. Spiritomb faces competition as a pursuit trapper from Absol and Skuntank, but in my opinion it does the role best due to it's access to infiltrator. The tier has adapted to trapper Skuntank with ghost and psychic types such as Jynx and Oricorio-Sensu running substitute but Spiritomb is able to ignore the sub and still threaten the pursuit trap. Luring Spiritomb gives freedom to use psychic and ghost typings more liberally, removes a ghost type to make choice scarf close combat from Primeape or Passimian more spammable, which also means that spinners like Hitmonchan are able to rapid spin without fear of being blocked.

Happy Luring!

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Ice Beam
- Dazzling Gleam

Pretty much Mesprit's standard CM + 3 Attacks set with Dazzling Gleam over Signal Beam. Missing out on hitting opposing Psychic-types is unfortunate but Mesprit still gets to hit Dark-types now including Spiritomb and Sableye for super-effective damage while stilling hitting Skuntank neutrally.

252 SpA Mesprit Dazzling Gleam vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Spiritomb: 142-168 (46.8 - 55.4%) -- 68.8% chance to 2HKO

Kecleon @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Protean
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Magic Coat
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch

Pretty difficult to lure Spiritomb since people are usually wary of Psychic-types running Dazzling Gleam but this Kecleon set is quite effective. you can bounce a Wisp with Magic Coat since Spiritomb will switch into you quite safely and cripple it before switching out. Using Assault Vest and Fire Punch is decent too but not really a lure

Wanted to wait for as long as possible to see if there was any more submission. It's a hard week so this is a pretty good result. Either way the show must go on, voting time!
