Brimstone breath reserved for the steel-clad ignoramus who dares to think his miserable flesh will not char

[OVERVIEW]

* Necrozma-DM is the best and most versatile Steel-type, capable of fitting on a variety of teams with an unpredictable array of sets.
* It is arguably the most ironclad and viable Xerneas check around and can check a variety of other offensive Pokemon such as Mega Salamence, Rayquaza, and Ultra Necrozma.
* Necrozma-DM's defensive typing isn't great, but it is accentuated by solid natural bulk and reinforced by Prism Armor, making it difficult to OHKO.
* Necrozma-DM has a strong base 157 Attack that is reinforced by a powerful STAB combination, good coverage options, boosting moves, and an unrestricted item slot, limiting how much momentum it relinquishes on a defensive set and allowing it to fill a variety of offensive roles.
* It can OHKO almost every Pokemon in the tier when at +2 with Searing Sunraze Smash.
* Ultra Necrozma sets allow Necrozma-DM to instantly gain some Speed, shooting up to base 129, which rises above many key Pokemon such as Arceus and Marshadow.
* Access to reliable recovery, Stealth Rock, and Toxic help make Necrozma-DM a great defensive Pokemon.
* A Toxic immunity, a Stealth Rock resistance, and the ability to hold Leftovers really cut down on the opponent's capacity to rack up residual damage on Necrozma-DM.
* The offensive typings of both Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma aren't very notable, and they are reliant on brute strength and Neuroforce-boosted coverage, respectively, to break defensive Pokemon.
* Necrozma-DM is weak to common offensive types such as Ground, Dark, Ghost, and Fire.
* Ultra Necrozma is rather susceptible to revenge killing, being weak to many common faster threats such as Choice Scarf Xerneas, Mega Gengar, Marshadow, and Yveltal.
* Necrozma-DM is slow when unboosted, allowing many strong and bulky threats to easily outspeed and dent it.

[SET]

move 2: Swords Dance
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Sunsteel Strike
item: Solganium Z / Weakness Policy
ability: Prism Armor
nature: Adamant
evs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Rock Polish offsets one of Necrozma-DM's greatest offensive shortcomings, allowing it to outspeed the vast majority of offensive threats.
* Swords Dance backs up Necrozma-DM's excellent Attack, allowing it to break through and punish defensive Pokemon
* Earthquake is used to hit Primal Groudon and smacks several other Steel-resistant Pokemon such as opposing Necrozma-DM, Ferrothorn, and Toxapex.
* Sunsteel Strike is the strongest physical Steel-type move Necrozma-DM has available and blasts through abilities such as Multiscale.
* Stone Edge can be used in lieu of Earthquake or Swords Dance to hit Ho-Oh, which can otherwise be hard for this set to hit, and also smacks Yveltal a bit harder.

Set Details
========

* Solganium Z turns Sunsteel Strike into an absurdly powerful attack, capable of denting even strong Pokemon that resist it when boosted.
* Weakness Policy takes advantage of Necrozma-DM's natural bulk and Prism Armor, punishing foes that have to hit it via super effective attacks.
* 220 Speed EVs allow +2 Speed Necrozma-DM to outspeed Timid Choice Scarf Yveltal and below.
* An Adamant nature is the most efficient alongside 252 Attack EVs to maximize Necrozma-DM's wallbreaking ability.
* The remaining EVs are allotted to bulk to ease setup and help reduce the potential of being revenge killed.
* An EV spread of 124 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Spe allows +2 Necrozma-DM to have higher bulk but still outpace neutral-natured Choice Scarf Yveltal and below. This higher bulk is especially helpful when utilizing Weakness Policy and allows Necrozma-DM to have a better chance at surviving Precipice Blades from Double Dance Primal Groudon, Dark Pulse from Life Orb Yveltal, and super effective moves from Arceus formes.

Usage Tips
========

* As a bulky setup sweeper, this Pokemon can be somewhat selfish, but it can still fill several defensive roles before its eventual setup, such as pivoting into Toxic or resisted attacks or checking Fairy-types.
* It's not hard to find setup opportunities, especially against defensive teams, which nearly always have some kind of defensive Pokemon that struggles to punish Necrozma-DM.
* With that said, be wary of Will-O-Wisp and paralysis, especially from defensive Pokemon such as support Arceus that appear to be harmless to Necrozma-DM.
* Do not underestimate this set's bulk. In a pinch, Necrozma-DM can set up even against strong Pokemon with type advantages such as defensive Primal Groudon, defensive Yveltal, Arceus-Ground, and Excadrill, as well as against various coverage moves, especially when using Weakness Policy.
* As with many Z-Moves, Searing Sunraze Smash must be used carefully. No Pokemon is immune to Steel, but consider what you need damage on most, and don't be afraid to juggle some attacks as your opponent tries to shift through checks and bait the Z-Move.

Team Options
========

* Stealth Rock is essential offensive support that aids this set's ability to get past Ho-Oh. Setters common to offense teams include Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga.
* Anti-offense Pokemon such as Marshadow, Choice Scarf users, and Rock Polish Primal Groudon complement this set's wallbreaking potential against defensive teams.
* Ground-immune Pokemon such as Mega Salamence, Yveltal, Rayquaza, and Giratina-O provide a pivot into Ground-type moves.
* Fairy-types such as Xerneas, Arceus-Fairy, and Mega Diancie cover Necrozma-DM's weakness to Dark-types.

[SET]

move 4: Sunsteel Strike
item: Leftovers
ability: Prism Armor
nature: Careful
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Necrozma-DM is a strong Stealth Rock setter, able to mess with a variety of anti-hazard Pokemon thanks to its typing, Toxic, and recovery.
* Toxic is this set's best punish option for bulky Pokemon such as Primal Groudon, Ho-Oh, and support Arceus formes.
* Moonlight provides recovery to maintain staying power so that Pokemon can be checked and Stealth Rock can be set for the duration of the match.
* Sunsteel Strike is used to have a way of dishing out immediate damage and hits pretty hard even with no investment thanks to the move's strength and Necrozma-DM's good base Attack.
* Swords Dance can be used instead of Toxic to be more proactive at punishing defensive Pokemon.

Set Details
========

* Leftovers is used to increase Necrozma-DM's resistance to residual damage and makes it even harder for foes to 2HKO it.
* Maximum special bulk is used to check Fairy-types and support Arceus formes and ease the damage Pokemon such as Yveltal can inflict.
* An Adamant nature ensures that +1 Z-Geomancy Xerneas is always 3HKOed and may allow Necrozma-DM to 2HKO Mega Sableye.

Usage Tips
========

* Setting Stealth Rock is the fundamental role of this set and a way to punish the opposing team. Understand your opponent's team and how well their anti-hazard options match up against this set.
* In many cases, especially if Stealth Rock is still up, Toxic will be a better way to punish incoming threats.
* Keep a close eye on Necrozma-DM's health and what it takes from the opponent to OHKO or 2HKO it.
* Do not underestimate Necrozma-DM's bulk. Pokemon such as support Arceus-Ground will fail to 2HKO it outright and can be stalled. Even strong super effective attacks can be weathered and punished in a pinch.
* Conserve Sunsteel Strike's PP, and don't pointlessly throw it around. The same applies to Moonlight, which also has very low PP for a recovery move.

Team Options
========

* Ho-Oh checks such as Fire resistant Arceus formes, Zygarde-C, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Salamence are essential, as this set cannot punish incoming Ho-Oh much outside of Toxic.
* Ground-immune Pokemon such as Mega Salamence, Yveltal, Giratina-O, Celesteela, Ho-Oh, and Lugia provide a pivot or check to incoming Ground attacks aimed at Necrozma-DM.
* Fairy-types such as Xerneas, Arceus-Fairy, and Mega Dianice cover Necrozma-DM's weakness to Dark-types.
* Dark-types such as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark cover Ghost-type attacks aimed at Necrozma-DM.
* Stallbreakers such as Swords Dance Primal Groudon, Rayquaza, Primal Kyogre, and Ho-Oh benefit from Necrozma-DM's support and are needed to break through defensive teams.
* Trappers such as Mega Gengar and Gothitelle can permanently remove opposing anti-hazard support Pokemon.
* A second Stealth Rock setter can improve the team's overall hazard matchup, as the tier has a variety of options for hazard removal.

[SET]
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Moonlight / Trick Room
move 3: Sunsteel Strike
move 4: Earthquake
item: Solganium Z / Weakness Policy
ability: Prism Armor
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* This set focuses on Swords Dance and Necrozma-DM's pure offensive might and ability to bust through defensive Pokemon that rely on passive damage to wear foes down.
* Recovery via Moonlight grants resiliency, making it harder for defensive Pokemon to break Necrozma-DM before it breaks them.
* Trick Room is used as a pseudo-Rock Polish that is able to justify high bulk alongside Swords Dance, functioning as a great anti-offense technique.
* Sunsteel Strike is Necrozma-DM's strongest Steel-type move and breaks through abilities such as Multiscale.
* Earthquake is used to complement Sunsteel Strike, hitting Primal Groudon and Steel-types.
* Stone Edge can be used to hit Ho-Oh, which can otherwise be hard for this set to hit, and also smacks Yveltal a bit harder.
* Substitute allows Necrozma-DM to set up on Pokemon such as Celesteela and Ferrothorn while also making it more difficult to revenge kill.

Set Details
========

* 252 Attack EVs with an Adamant nature maximize Necrozma-DM's wallbreaking ability.
* 252 Speed EVs are used to beat out the crowded, bulky base 99 Speed tier and below.
* Run an EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def with a Brave nature if using Trick Room.

Usage Tips
========

* This set operates very similarly to Double Dance sets but has slightly less bulk and can be better at creeping past bulky attackers.
* The best setup opportunities will usually be against defensive Pokemon, as they can struggle to punish Necrozma-DM.
* Be wary of Will-O-Wisp and paralysis, especially from defensive Pokemon that appear to be harmless to Necrozma-DM such as support Arceus.
* Depending on the Speed of Necrozma-DM's teammates, Trick Room should be used aggressively or in a pinch. Most of all, use this move to instantly rob the momentum from offensive teams.
* You must be keen on when to use Necrozma-DM's Z-Move. No Pokemon is immune to Steel, but consider what you need damage on most, and don't be afraid to juggle some attacks as your opponent tries to shift through checks and bait the Z-Move.

Team Options
========

[SET]
name: Ultra Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Photon Geyser
move 3: Earthquake / Knock Off
move 4: Stone Edge / Sunsteel Strike / Brick Break
item: Ultranecrozium Z
ability: Neuroforce
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Swords Dance makes use of Ultra Necrozma's good base Speed instead of having to set up with Rock Polish or set Trick Room.
* Photon Geyser is boosted by Swords Dance and hits many bulky Pokmeon that the other Swords Dance sets can struggle to hit such as Primal Kyogre, Ho-Oh, Arceus-Water, and Toxapex.
* Earthquake offers coverage against Steel-types.
* Knock Off is great for Steel-types that aren't hit hard by Earthquake and can really mess with defensive Pokemon
* Stone Edge hits Ho-Oh and Yveltal hard.
* Sunsteel Strike hits most Dark-types somewhat effectively, hits Xerneas, and functions as a STAB move when coming from Necrozma-DM.
* Brick Break is specialized coverage against Pokemon such as Arceus-Dark and Steel-types that are not particularly weak to Earthquake such as Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

* Ultranecrozium Z is required to transform into Ultra Necrozma and turns Photon Geyser into Light That Burns the Sky, a move that annihilates everything except for Dark-types and bulk Pokemon that resist it.
* Maximum Speed is required to outspeed Marshadow, which would otherwise OHKO and steal boosts via Spectral Thief.
* The remaining EVs are used to raise Ultra Necrozma's Attack.

Usage Tips
========

* The set can be highly effective at bluffing Double Dance and Swords Dance Necrozma-DM sets. Use this to your advantage by convincing the opponent that their check is faster or surprising them with Photon Geyser.
* In addition to bluffing, use Necrozma-DM to help ease setting up with Swords Dance before using Ultra Burst, as Necrozma-DM is far bulkier and further protected by Prism Armor.
* Swords Dance can be used against most defensive Pokemon that lack the capacity to paralyze, burn, or phaze and against offensive Pokemon that are slower than Ultra Necrozma that also fail to OHKO it or Necrozma-DM.
* Once Necrozma-DM transforms into Ultra Necrozma, there is no going back. Make sure that you aren't reliant on Necrozma-DM in order to check an opposing Pokemon such as Xerneas.
* Light That Burns the Sky is very strong, but be mindful that it cannot be used until transforming into Ultra Necrozma. For this reason, it helps to eliminate Dark- and Steel-types prior to transforming through Ultra Burst so you can wreak havoc.

Team Options
========

* Stealth Rock is essential offensive support that aids this set's ability to get past Ho-Oh. Setters common to offense teams include Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga.
* Anti-offense Pokemon such as Marshadow, Choice Scarf users, and Rock Polish Primal Groudon complement this set's wallbreaking strength against defensive teams.
* Yveltal provides some nice defensive traits such as Dark- and Ghost-type resistances while also being able to damage several defensive Pokemon that may attempt to wall Ultra Necrozma.
* Xerneas provides a Dark-type resistance and an immunity to Dragon-type moves.
* Mega Salamence can provide a check to Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh.
* Offensive Arceus formes such as Swords Dance, Calm Mind, and all-out attacker sets pair best with this set's intentions.
* Tapu Lele provides Psychic Terrain support, allowing Photon Geyser to do absurd damage and protecting Ultra Necrozma from priority; a common method of revenge killing.

[SET]
name: Ultra Special Attacker
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Photon Geyser
move 3: Heat Wave
move 4: Power Gem / Dragon Pulse
item: Ultranecrozium Z
ability: Neuroforce
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* This set opts to go for special attacks, making it potentially more disruptive and changing the types of checks that can perform well against it.
* Calm Mind is primarily to raise Special Attack but is useful for making it harder for special attackers to revenge kill Ultra Necrozma.
* Photon Geyser is the primary STAB move.
* Heat Wave is key for coverage over the Steel-types that resist Photon Geyser.
* Power Gem hits Ho-Oh hard and Yveltal rather well.
* Dragon Pulse can function as a secondary STAB move, generally hitting Dragon-types harder.
* Earth Power complements Heat Wave to hit other Steel-types and Primal Groudon a bit harder.
* Dark Pulse can mess with some Psychic-types and Giratina-O and fish for flinches.

Set Details
========

* Ultranecrozium Z is required to transform into Ultra Necrozma and turns Photon Geyser into Light That Burns the Sky, a move that annihilates everything except for Dark-types and bulky Pokemon that resist it.
* Maximum Speed is required to outspeed Marshadow.
* The remaining EVs are used to raise Ultra Necrozma's Special Attack.

Usage Tips
========

* It's difficult for this Pokemon to bluff other sets due to having the most distinct movepool, but being one of the rarer sets makes it easier to exploit your opponent's expectations.
* Calm Mind can be set up against most defensive Pokemon that lack the capacity to paralyze or phaze and against offensive Pokemon that are slower than Ultra Necrozma and fail to OHKO it or Necrozma-DM.
* Do not set up or aim for a sweep when the opponent has a Pokemon with higher base Speed. Scout Pokemon such as Xerneas and Yveltal for Choice Scarf or Sucker Punch before attempting a sweep.
* You may boost with Calm Mind and break intermittently if the momentum allows you to dispose of a key defensive Pokemon before Necrozma-DM is revenge killed.
* Do not be too eager to transform Necrozma-DM. It is much easier to set up with Calm Mind as Necrozma-DM.

Team Options
========

* Stealth Rock from setters such as Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga is essential offensive support.
* Anti-offense Pokemon such as Marshadow, Choice Scarf users, and Rock Polish Primal Groudon complement this set's wallbreaking strength against defensive teams.
* Yveltal provides some nice defensive traits such as Dark- and Ghost-type resistances while also being able to damage several defensive Pokemon that may attempt to wall Ultra Necrozma such as opposing Necrozma-DM, Giratina-O, Lugia, and Lunala.
* Xerneas provides a Dark-type resistance and an immunity to Dragon-type moves.
* Mega Salamence provides a check to Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh.
* Offensive Arceus formes such as Swords Dance, Calm Mind, and all-out attacker sets pair best with this set's intentions
* Tapu Lele provides Psychic Terrain support, allowing Photon Geyser to do absurd damage and protecting Ultra Necrozma from priority.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Photon Geyser on the Swords Dance set functions as a secondary STAB move, allowing Necrozma-DM to smack several Pokemon that it can otherwise struggle with such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Ho-Oh, and Arceus-Water.
* Solganium Z can be utilized on the support set in order to yield less momentum, which can be especially helpful against Pokemon such as Gothitelle.
* Flash Cannon can be used on the Calm Mind set to hit some Fairy- and Rock-types a bit better.
* Psyshock hits Blissey and Chansey better than Photon Geyser, but it doesn't do much else.
* Outrage can be used on Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma, but it is a bad move to be locked into.
* Calm Mind with Stored Power can be used with a bulky Necrozma-DM in order to stockpile boosts and clean, but this lacks immediate power and is generally much easier to wall.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ho-Oh**: Although it dislikes Toxic, Stone Edge, and a boosted Z-Move, Ho-Oh is generally a good check to Necrozma-DM. Ultra Necrozma has a better shot and busting through it but is reliant on boosted attacks or Power Gem.

**Primal Groudon**: Although Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma have options for smacking Primal Groudon, it's the most common Steel-resistant Pokemon in the tier and has many ways to destroy both formes. With that said, Primal Groudon doesn't handle Earthquake very well and loses one-on-one against Ultra Necrozma.

**Arceus-Ground**: Support Necrozma-DM can potentially outlast support Arceus-Ground, but offensive sets can dent or even OHKO Necrozma-DM under certain circumstances. Be aware that Searing Sunraze Smash can OHKO Arceus-Ground from a Speed-boosted Necrozma-DM, and Ultra Necrozma is faster.

**Primal Kyogre**: With a resistance to Steel and good natural bulk, Primal Kyogre can be tough for certain Necrozma-DM sets to handle and can hit back with strong rain-boosted Water-type moves. However, a boosted Searing Sunraze Smash can KO most Primal Kyogre sets.

**Bulky Water-types**: Support Arceus-Water and Mega Slowbro are some of the only Pokemon capable of surviving +2 Searing Sunraze Smash, and they can hit back with Water-type moves or burns.

**Zygarde-C**: Glare can prove irritating to Necrozma-DM, as it doesn't have a good way to immediately smack Zygarde-C. Zygarde-C can also threaten Necrozma-DM via setup and Thousand Arrows but is OHKOed by boosted Searing Sunraze Smash as regular Zygarde.

**Bulky Dark-types**: Yveltal and Arceus-Dark have the strength, type advantage, and bulk to weather some of what Necrozma-DM can throw at them and hit back hard.

**Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Celesteela, Ferrothorn, Dialga, Excadrill, and Skarmory can perform well against Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma sets. However, some of these Pokemon become setup bait versus Swords Dance Necrozma-DM.

**Revenge Killers**: Pokemon such as Mega Gengar and Marshadow can be strong revenge killers to Necrozma-DM. Ultra Necrozma can be revenge killed by Choice Scarf Xerneas, Yveltal sets, Mega Gengar, Marshadow, Lunala, and even Pokemon such as Mewtwo and Deoxys-A.

**Burns**: Necrozma-DM's ability to resist residual damage is greatly reduced when burned, and it becomes much easier to wall due to its neutered Sunsteel Strike.

It might be worth reordering / clarifying some of the Checks and Counters options because they can get really shaky.

- Groudon doesn't handle Earthquakes well and loses 1v1 to Ultra
- Offensive Ground Arceus can be OHKOed by Searing Sunraze Smash and it must take care when trying to revenge a Speed boosted one. Additionally, Tectonic Rage only has a 50% chance of OHKOing a Necro-DM at full. There's also Ultra forme making this more difficult.
- Primal Kyogre wins 1v1 against non-Ultra but switching it into Necro is risky as +2 SSS can OHKO if it is not heavily invested into defense.
- Zygarde-C needs to be above 95% in Complete forme to not die to +2 SSS and will get cleanly blown up in base forme. Offensive builds can be OHKOed by unboosted SSS while boosted Thousand Arrows is far from OHKOing, requiring Tec Rage to do so (which probably doesn't KO base forme)
- Celesteela, Ferrothorn, and Dialga are set up baits, only really threatening the support set.

Ultra SD Usage Tips is still WIP

Mention that Sunsteel for base forme STAB / hitting Xerneas

Change all the dashes to asterisks for formatting purposes, and also flesh out Team Options on all the sets - there isn't gonna be a prose writeup to this so all of the fleshing out across the skeleton should be implemented from the start, which I trust will turn out fine.

CM + Stored Power seems hella weird. I'd drop that further in OO if not remove it entirely.

I gave feedback on the major stuff on Discord as this was being created.

QC 1/3

Feel free to implement these, if you agree:

* I would slash or at least mention in OO about how defensive Necrozma-DM can use Solganium Z instead of Leftovers to lure and remove Gothitelle. I know how Gothitelle normally doesn't switch into DM due to possible 2HKO from Sunsteel Strike, but it can remove DM if it came in via free switch / double switching, using SSS which does minimum 96.8%.
* And I would put Substitute in OO so you can set up on Celesteela and Ferrothorn while evading Yveltal's Sucker Punch, but ample portion of Yveltal runs scarf and Necrozma is already strapped of moveslots.
* Also Knock Off sounds nice bc you can remove Leftovers from Celesteela and Ferrothorn, Black Sludge from Toxapex, and Shed Shell from Skarmory. This way life against these 'mons become so much easier. But this move usually can't fit for reasons
* I think you should mention how specially defensive sets are able to check Naganadel at full health, since it tanks +2 Fire Blast (or by forcing mind games if you are running offensive variant)

Not QC, just some suggestions

Double Dance

Moves
- Unfortunately Sunsteel Strike doesn't break through Shadow Shield http://www.smogon.com/dex/sm/abilities/shadow_shield/ also you can state Lugia as the Multiscale Pokemon example. Also in the Swords Dance set Sunsteel Strike description.
- Stone Edge from here should be removed and probably put in Other Options as you can't afford to give up Sunsteel Strike in this set. +2 Sunsteel Strike can also OHKO all but physically defensive Yveltal set. Then maybe add in a dedicated Ho-Oh check in the team.
+2 252+ Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Sunsteel Strike vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Yveltal: 432-508 (109.9 - 129.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Sunsteel Strike vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Yveltal: 307-363 (67.3 - 79.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 252+ Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Sunsteel Strike vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Yveltal: 307-363 (67.3 - 79.6%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Set Details
- With the Prism Armor line, I'd explicitly state (If not here then in Usage Tips) that it can take Precipice Blades from non-Adamant Primal Groudon since that's a big thing. Then WP can be activated and you can 2HKO it or OHKO if you have already boosted up.
0 Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 124 HP / 0 Def Prism Armor Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 265-312 (72.4 - 85.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 124 HP / 0 Def Prism Armor Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 306-361 (83.6 - 98.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Groudon-Primal: 364-430 (90.3 - 106.6%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Groudon-Primal: 364-430 (90.3 - 106.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+4 252+ Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Groudon-Primal: 544-642 (134.9 - 159.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

- With the last line you should add in; Alternatively this EV spread can be used with this Speed investment to outpace Max Speed Scarf Yveltal at the cost of reducing its bulk. Also only 220 EVs are required to outspeed Max Speed Scarf Yveltal, 224 EVs overshoot by 2; but if you also want to outpace any base 100 Scarf then it should be made 228 EVs.

Usage Tips
- 2nd bullet: One or two examples of such Pokemon against which it can setup. Also the 2nd and the 4th bullet should probably be written together or near this one. In strong Pokemon against which Necrozma DM can set up you can add Primal Grouddon as an example.
- 3rd bullet: Again one or two examples of Pokemon that can use these status moves like Will-O-Wisp: Giratina, Mega Gengar (If you haven't used Rock Polish yet), certain support Arceus | Paralysis: Zygarde-C, rarely Lugia, once in a blue moon with Primal Groudon.
- You can also add a line saying save Sunsteel Strike's PP as it is very limited and use Earthquake over it against foes that can be or are weakened enough to be KOed by it. These can be added in all the same sections below.

Support

Moves
- I don't get what you mean when you say it's Pink but anyway if it's better than Morning Sun in every aspect then you shouldn't slash. Well they have the same PP and the same effect or there's something which I'm completely missing :s

Set Details
- Leftovers: Not exactly resistance but longevity.
- The provided nature is Careful, for describing Adamant you should add in something like: Alternatively, an Adamant nature can be used to ensure that +1 Def Xerneas is always 3HKOed at the cost of sacrificing some Special bulky which [How it'll affect Necrozma DM]

Swords Dance

Usage Tips
- 1st bullet: I'd give one or two examples of such bulky attackers so that the reader may know why use this set over the other one.

Team Options
- Some options that may benefit from Trick Room if using Trick Room to keep up if Necrozma DM is forced to switchout or faints while Trick Room is active.

Ultra Swords Dance

Moves
- In Earthquake's bullet, Fire should be added as well since there's Primal Don which can be mostly 2HKOed.
- Brick Break: Mention specific examples of such Steel-types (Since it's a coverage move) like Ferrothorn
- I haven't personally used this Ultra set till now but only the Weakness Policy set but I'd say Sunsteel Strike should be slashed ahead of Stone Edge since Photon Geyser can still 3HKO the defensive and 2HKO the Life Orb set while the Band set can be OHKOed by Photon Geyser after Stealth Rock damage or even better if you have already setup SD. Ho-Oh is left in the dilemma of choosing the move; Sacred Fire can't hit Ultra Necrozma with much damage and Brave Bird can do much to the regular forme. The matchup against Yveltal is kind of still dizzy with Stone Edge since Ultra gets OHKOed by LO Sucker Punch and Dusk Mane gets outsped and mostly (68% of the time) OHKOed by Dark Pulse so you really wouldn't wanna face it with Necrozma. Sunsteel Strike is really good to have as the STAB in the base forme.

Set Details
- Maximum Speed invesetment with a Jolly nature
- Instead of the remaining EVs in Attack, I'd rather say, Maximum Attack investment lets it hit as hard as possible.
- Maybe Neuroforce should be described here (I'm not entirely sure on this one)

Ultra Special Attacker

Moves
- One or two specific examples for Heat Wave's target (As it's a coverage move) like Ferrothorn.
- Same for Dark Pulse.

Set Details
- Max Special Attack investment over remaining EVs phrasing.

Other Options
- Psyshock only has its effect stated just like /dt, state what it can help Necrozma DM with like Chansey and Blissey.

Checks & Counters
- Give one or two Pokemon examples which can burn Necrozma DM.

This analysis is a work of art!

Moves
- I don't get what you mean when you say it's Pink but anyway if it's better than Morning Sun in every aspect then you shouldn't slash. Well they have the same PP and the same effect or there's something which I'm completely missing :s
Moonlight is “Pink” because it’s a Fairy-type move, which is cute :3

I’m assuming it’s in there jokingly before the GP checks start. They really are just the same move with a different name.

* I think you should mention how specially defensive sets are able to check Naganadel at full health, since it tanks +2 Fire Blast (or by forcing mind games if you are running offensive variant)
The only place I would mention something like this is in the intro, but Naganadel is not notable enough to do this. This type of information belongs in Naganadel's C&C.

Stone Edge from here should be removed and probably put in Other Options as you can't afford to give up Sunsteel Strike in this set. +2 Sunsteel Strike can also OHKO all but physically defensive Yveltal set. Then maybe add in a dedicated Ho-Oh check in the team.
You give up Earthquake, not Sunsteel and the move is primarily for Ho-Oh, not Yveltal.

- With the Prism Armor line, I'd explicitly state (If not here then in Usage Tips) that it can take Precipice Blades from non-Adamant Primal Groudon since that's a big thing. Then WP can be activated and you can 2HKO it or OHKO if you have already boosted up.
I would have mentioned it if it could tank Blades from truly any P Don. Also I consider the WP description beyond intuitive. With such a large analysis I'm trying to have some brevity here.

Also only 220 EVs are required to outspeed Max Speed Scarf Yveltal, 224 EVs overshoot by 2; but if you also want to outpace any base 100 Scarf then it should be made 228 EVs.
Yes. Max Scarf 99s hit 489. Necrozma-DM must hit 0.5(489) or greater. This value is 244.5, thus Necrozma-DM must be 245 at minimum - hence 220 EVs. Scarf 100s aren't really relevant enough for me to mention here though.

I don't get what you mean when you say it's Pink but anyway if it's better than Morning Sun in every aspect then you shouldn't slash. Well they have the same PP and the same effect or there's something which I'm completely missing :s
They are identical except for one thing - Imprison. This distinction is beyond irrelevant, hence why both are slashed. I prefer Moonlight purely for ascetics, but it makes (effectively) no difference competitively.

- Maximum Speed invesetment with a Jolly nature
- Instead of the remaining EVs in Attack, I'd rather say, Maximum Attack investment lets it hit as hard as possible.
This is a big nitpick, but Max Speed means + nature. If you don't have a + nature you're not max, because there's a possible value that is higher. 252 EVs is not max, it's 252 EVs. 252+ is max. Although I'm fine when analyses says "Max XXX investment with a XXX nature", I don't think it's necessary to spec due to redundancy.

Checks & Counters
- Give one or two Pokemon examples which can burn Necrozma DM.
I normally push for C&C sections to have specific Pokemon mentions, see XXX-types, revenge-killers, anti-leads, etc. but I consider status a special case. The reason is because it's the status condition itself that is checking, not necessarily the Pokemon that utilizes the status. For example Yveltal is a Dark-type that itself checks Necrozma-DM, but Arceus-Fairy can run WoW and that itself does not check Necrozma-DM. The burn is the check, not Arceus-Fairy or user XXX, so there's not any point in highlighting it.

* Arguably the most ironclad and viable Xerneas check around, and capable of checking a variety of other offensive Pokemon as well
give names of pokemon it checks
* Necrozma-DM is weak to common offensive types such as Ground, Dark, Ghost, and Fire
give examples too

[SET]
name: Rock Polish
move 1: Rock Polish
move 2: Sunsteel Strike
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Swords Dance / Stone Edge
item: Solganium Z / Weakness Policy
ability: Prism Armor
nature: Adamant
evs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe

this should be the right slashing, make the changes in setmoves/details

* As a bulky setup sweeper, this Pokemon can be somewhat selfish, however it can still fill several defensive roles before its eventual setup, such as a pivot through Toxic or resisted attacks
add it can act as geoxern emergency check on HO Teams.

* Do not underestimate this set's bulk. In a pinch you can setup even against strong Pokemon with type trumps,especially when using Weakness Policy
give examples of which mons it can setup against that actives WK.
* A second Stealth Rock setter can improve the overall hazard matchup as the tier has a variety of options for hazard removal
i think its a bad option, if i wouldnt use two SR considering the best SR users around are arceus, necro-dm, and pdon, which would rather run an offensive set. remove

Add examples of setup fodders in Ultra Swords Dance's Usage Tips, same for CM varient

* Offensive Arceus such as Swords Dance, Calm Mind, and all out attacker sets pair best with this set's intentions
nitpick but AoA isnt a thing, mention Fairyceus somewhere since its a solid marshadow set.

same changes for cm set, since you c/p'd most of team options.

Add in CM Usage Tips why using CM varient over SD varient

* Bulldoze can drop opposing Speed with Ground-type coverage, helping to alleviate Necrozma-DM's poor Speed
* Rock Tomb can do similar, but hits Ho-Oh and Yveltal
* Psyshock can hit the physical side of Pokemon via a special move
* Iron Head has more PP and can flinch, but is overall inferior to Sunsteel Strike
all those options are literally useless and unviable, if you really wanna keep one of those keep psyshock and mention its only target are blobs.

QC 2/3 after you implement this

I'm not going to muddle up the intro by listing what Fire-types etc. are in Ubers. This information is beyond intuitive, only serves to bloat the intro, and the point is in regard to general defensive typing quirks.

These proposed changes are already discussed within the set. SE can be used over EQ or SD. 220 Spe can be used for 99+ at +1. Considering double dance Necrozma-DM is arguably the best setup sweeper in the tier, I'm not going to slash a cover op over SD - a moves mention is plenty generous for those that want that kind of detailing.

i think its a bad option, if i wouldnt use two SR considering the best SR users around are arceus, necro-dm, and pdon, which would rather run an offensive set. remove
Double SR is viable, just like double Defog. The ways in which teams option to wage the hazard war can become nuanced and preference based.

nitpick but AoA isnt a thing
Just because you don't personally build with something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Squads may utilize AoA / offensive utility / whatever you want to call it on Arceus because it meets a specialized list of needs for that team. To label this as not an option is close minded.

Add in CM Usage Tips why using CM varient over SD varient
This is already top billed on the set.

all those options are literally useless and unviable, if you really wanna keep one of those keep psyshock and mention its only target are blobs.
OO is the appropriate place to list options that while outclassed in the majority of scenarios can have situational utility. Bulldoze and Rock Tomb are techs that can be particularly disruptive. You don't offer any kind of argument rooted in metagame logic as to why these moves should be instantly dismissed for any application on all teams. If anything the OO list is not exhaustive enough and I'm open to hearing proposals for the addition of moves such as Thunder Wave or Rock Slide.

Everything else has been implemented.

The first set's Speed EVs were changed from 132 EVs to 220 EVs. While you did make that change in the set, the set details still talks about 132 EVs as if it's in the main set so fix that please. Did some calcs and it seems dusk mane is able to have a higher chance to survive a Pblades from Dual Dance Pdon and Dark Pulse from LO Yveltal. You also have a good chance to live a +1 Judgment from any Arceus forme that can deal super effective damage. I'd add Pdon and the Judgment calc to the last point for justification. Good spread for running the WP set.

Under the set details of Support, talk about the PP issue for running Morning Sun / Moonlight before the last point as it flows with the point before.

* Dark Pulse can mess with some Psychic-types and fish for flinches
I think the only Psychic type that it hits with Dark Pulse is Dusk Mane. Also hits GiraO so add that as well.

Remove Flash Cannon in my opinion. The only Fairy type that Psychic STAB can't hit does good damage gets covered by Heat Wave. Arceus-Fairy can't take its Z Move if you have already Ultra Burst-ed and if you are in your base form, Arceus-Fairy can't do much to you.

The rest looks pretty good. Implement these for QC 3/3

[OVERVIEW]

* Necrozma-DM is the best and most versatile Steel-type around, capable of fitting on a variety of teams with an unpredictable array of sets
* It is arguably the most ironclad and viable Xerneas check around,(RC) and capable of checking can check (different sentence structure) a variety of other offensive Pokemon such as Mega Salamence, Rayquaza, and Ultra Necrozma
* Necrozma-DM's defensive typing isn't great, but it is accentuated by its solid natural bulk and reinforced by Prism Armor, making it difficult to OHKO
* Necrzoma-DM has a strong base 157 Attack,(RC) that is reinforced by a powerful STAB combination, good coverage options, boosting moves, and an unrestricted item slot, limiting how much momentum it relinquishes on a defensive set and allowing it to fill a variety of offensive roles
* It can OHKO almost every Pokemon in the tier when at +2 with Searing Sunraze Smash
* Ultra Necrozma sets allow Necrozma-DM to instantly gain some Speed, shooting up to a base 129,(AC) base which rises above many key Pokemon such as Arceus and Marshadow
* Access to reliable recovery, Stealth Rock, and Toxic help make Necrozma-DM a great defensive Pokemon
* A Toxic immunity, a Stealth Rock resistance, and the ability to hold Leftovers really cut down on the opponent's capacity to rack up residual damage
* The offensive types of both Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma aren't very notable,(RC) and are reliant on brute strength and Neuroforce-(AH)boosted coverage,(AC) respectively,(AC) to break defensive Pokemon
* Necrozma-DM is weak to common offensive types such as Ground, Dark, Ghost, and Fire
* Ultra Necrozma is rather susceptible to revenge killing, being weak to many of the most common fastmons faster threats such as Choice Scarf Xerneas, Mega Gengar, Marshadow, and Yveltal
* Necrozma-DM is slow when unboosted, allowing many strong and bulky threats to easily outspeed and dent it

[SET]
name: Double Dance
move 1: Rock Polish
move 2: Swords Dance
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Sunsteel Strike
item: Solganium Z / Weakness Policy
ability: Prism Armor
nature: Adamant
evs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Rock Polish offsets one of Necrozma-DM's greatest offensive shortcomings, allowing it to outspeed the vast majority of offensive threats
* Swords Dance backs up Necrozma-DM's powerful Attack, allowing it to break through and punish defensive Pokemon
* Earthquake is used to hit Primal Groudon and smacks around several Steel-types,(RC) the Pokemon (I would put a few examples) that resist its STAB moves.
* Sunsteel Strike is the strongest physical Steel-type move (Giga Impact and Photon Geyser do the same damage, and Prismatic Laser is its strongest move) Necrozma-DM has available,(RC) and blasts through abilities such as Multiscale
* Stone Edge can be used in lieu of Earthquake or Swords Dance to hit Ho-Oh, which can be otherwise be hard for this set to hit, and also smacks Yveltal a bit harder

Set Details
========

* Solganium Z turns Sunsteel Strike into an absurdly powerful attack, capable of denting even strong resists Pokemon that resist it when boosted
* Weakness Policy takes advantage of Necrozma-DM's natural bulk and Prism Armor, punishing foes that have to clunk hit it via super effective attacks ("clunk" isn't synonymous with hit/dent/smack/chunk etc.)
* 220 Speed EVs allows allow +2 Speed Necrozma-DM to outspeed Timid Choice Scarf Yveltal and below
* An Adamant nature is the most efficient,(RC) and alongside 252 Attack EVs to maximize Necrozma-DM's wallbreaking ability
* The remaining EVs are slotted allotted to bulk to ease setup and help reduce the potential of being revenge killed
* An EV spread of 124 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Spe allows +2 Necrozma-DM to have higher bulk but still outpace neutral-(AH)natured Speed Choice Scarf Yveltal and below. This higher bulk is especially helpful when utilizing Weakness Policy,(RC) and allows Necrozma-DM to have a better chance at surviving Precipice Blades from Double Dance Primal Groudon, Dark Pulse from Life Orb Yveltal, and Arceus formes (I'm assuming this is talking about multiple Arceus types. Remember that Arceus = Arceus-Normal) that can smack it for super-(RH)effective damage

Usage Tips
========

* As a bulky setup sweeper, this Pokemon can be somewhat selfish, however but it can still fill several defensive roles before its eventual setup, such as a pivot through pivoting into Toxic or resisted attacks,(RC) or checking Fairy-types
* It's not hard to find setup opportunities, especially against defensive teams,(AC) which nearly always back have some kind of defensive Pokemon that struggles to punish Necrozma-DM (I would give examples)
* With that said, be wary of Will-O-Wisp or and paralysis, especially from defensive Pokemon that appear to be harmless to Necrozma-DM (examples here too)
* Do not underestimate this set's bulk. In a pinch,(AC) Necrozma-DM you can setup set up even against strong Pokemon with type trumps advantages ("trump" isn't a noun when using it to mean "beat") such as defensive Primal Groudon, defensive Yveltal, Arceus-Ground, and Excadrill, and as well as against (coverage moves aren't Pokemon) various coverage moves, especially when using Weakness Policy
* As with many Z-(AH)Moves, you must be keen on when to use it. No Pokemon is immune to Steel, but consider what you need damage on most,(AC) and don't be afraid to juggle some attacks as your opponent tries to shift through checks and bait the Z-(AH)Move

Team Options
========

* Stealth Rock is essential offensive support that aids in this set's ability to get past Ho-Oh. Setters common to offense teams include Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga
* Anti-HO Anti-offense Pokemon such as Marshadow, Choice Scarf users, and Rock Polish Primal Groudon compliment complement this set's breaking strength vs. wallbreaking potential against defensive teams
* Ground-(AH)immune Pokemon immunities such as Mega Salamence, Yveltal, Rayquaza, and Giratina-O provide a pivot into Ground-type moves
* Fairy-(AH)types such as Xerneas, Arceus-Fairy, and Mega Diancie cover this Pokemon's Necrozma-DM's weakness to Dark-types

move 4: Sunsteel Strike

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Necrozma-DM is a strong Stealth Rock setter, able to mess with a variety of anti-(AH)hazard Pokemon thanks to its typing, Toxic, and recovery
* Toxic is this set's best punish option for bulky Pokemon such as Primal Groudon, Ho-Oh, and support Arceus formes
* Moonlight provides recovery is used to maintain staying power so that Pokemon can be checked and Stealth Rock can be set for the duration of the match. Moonlight is better than Morning Sun because the move is Pink, but they're otherwise the same (I'll take a mental note though)
* Sunsteel Strike is used to have a way of dishing out immediate damage,(RC) and hits pretty hard even with no investment thanks to the move's strength and Necrozma-DM's good base Attack
* Swords Dance can be used instead of Toxic to be more proactive at punishing defensive Pokemon

Set Details
========

* Leftovers are is used to increase Necrozma-DM's resistance to residual damage,(RC) and makes it even harder for opponents foes to 2HKO it
* Maximum special bulk is used to take advantage of this set's capacity to (the spread makes the set check Fairy-types, not the other way around) check Fairy-types,(RC) and support Arceus,(RC) formes and ease the damage Pokmeon Pokemon such as Yveltal can inflict
* An Adamant nature ensures that +1 Z-(AH)Geomancy Xerneas is always 3HKOed and may allow Dusk Mane Necrozma-(AH)DM to 2HKO Mega Sableye

Usage Tips
========

* Setting Stealth Rock is the fundamental role of this set and a way to punish the opposing team. Understand your opponent's team,(RC) and how well their anti-hazard options matchup match up against this set
* In many cases, especially if Stealth Rock is still down up, Toxic will be a better way to punish incoming threats
* Keep a close eye on your Necrozma-DM's health,(RC) and what it takes from the opponent to OHKO or 2HKO you it.
* Do not underestimate your Necrozma-DM's bulk. Pokemon such as support Arceus-Ground will fail to 2HKO you it outright and can be stalled. Even strong super effective attacks from type trumps can be weathered and punished in a pinch
* Conserve Sunsteel Strike's PP,(AC) and don't pointlessly throw it around. The same applies to Moonlight and Morning Sun, which also have has very low PP for a recovery move

Team Options
========

* Reactive (idk what "reactive" is supposed to mean) Ho-Oh checks such as Fire-type resistant Arceus formes, Zygarde-C, Primal Kyogre, or and Mega Salamence are essential,(AC) as this set cannot punish incoming Ho-Oh much outside of Toxic
* Ground-(AH)immune Pokemon immunities (can't use "resists" and "immunities" as nouns to refer to Pokemon) such as Mega Salamence, Yveltal, Giratina-O, Celesteela, Ho-Oh, or and Lugia provide a pivot or check to incoming Ground attacks aimed at Necrozma-DM
* Fairy-types such as Xerneas, Arceus-Fairy, or and Mega Dianice cover this set's Necrozma-DM's weakness to Dark-types
* Dark-types such as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark cover Ghost-type attacks aimed at Necrozma-DM
* Stallbreakers such as Swords Dance Primal Groudon, Rayquaza, Primal Kyogre, or and Ho-Oh benefit from this set's Necrozma-DM's support and are needed to break through defensive teams
* Trappers such as Mega Gengar and Gothitelle can permanently remove opposing anti-hazard support Pokemon.
* A second Stealth Rock setter can improve the team'soverall hazard matchup,(AC) as the tier has a variety of options for hazard removal

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* This set focuses on Swords Dance and Necrozma-DM's pure offensive might and ability to bust through defensive Pokemon that rely on passive damage to break things wear foes down
* Recovery via Moonlight grants resilency resiliency, making it harder for defensive Pokemon to break Necrozma-DM before it breaks them
* Trick Room is used as a pseudo-(AH)Rock Polish that is able to justify high bulk (this says that using Trick Room justifies high bulk investment. If you were talking about Necrozma-DM's natural bulk, then "justify" isn't the best word here and I would reword it) alongside Swords Dance, functioning as a great anti-offense technique
* Earthquake is used to compliment this set's STAB(s) complement Sunsteel Strike, hitting Primal Groudon and Steel-types
* Sunsteel Strike is Necrozma-DMs strongest Steel-type move and breaks through abilities such as Multiscale (tbh I would swap the order of Sunsteel Strike and Earthquake on the set and move descriptions, since you say Earthquake complements Sunsteel Strike and not the other way around)
* Stone Edge can be used to hit Ho-Oh, which can be otherwise be hard for this set to hit, and also smacks Yveltal a bit harder
* Substitute allows Necrozma-DM to set up on Pokemon such as Celesteela and Ferrothorn,(RC) while also making it more difficult to revenge kill

Set Details
========

* Solganium Z turns Sunsteel Strike into an absurdly powerful attack, capable of denting even strong resists Pokemon that resist it when boosted
* Weakness Policy takes advantage of Necrozma-DM's natural bulk and Prism Armor, punishing foes that have to clunk hit it via super effective attacks
* 252 Attack EVs with an Adamant nature maximize Necrozma-DM's wallbreaking ability
* 252 Speed EVs are used to beat out the crowded,(AC) bulky base 99s 99 Speed tier and below
* Run an EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def with a Brave nature if using Trick Room

Usage Tips
========

* This set operates very similarly to the Double Dance set,(RC) but has slightly less bulk and can be better at creeping past bulky attackers
* The best setup opportunities will usually be against defensive Pokemon, as these they can struggle to punish Necrozma-DM
* Be wary of Will-O-Wisp or and paralysis, especially from defensive Pokemon that appear to be harmless to Necrozma-DM (examples)
* Depending on the Speed of your teammates, Trick Room should be used aggressively or in a pinch. Most of all,(AC) use this move to instantly rob the momentum from an offense offensive teams. ("an offense" is ambiguous. Feel free to replace my suggestion with something else you think might fit better)

========

* Stealth Rock is essential offensive support that aids in this set's ability to get past Ho-Oh. Setters common to offense teams include Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga
* Anti-HO Anti-offense Pokemon such as Marshadow, Choice Scarf users, and Rock Polish Primal Groudon compliment complement (compliment = congratulate; complement = to improve) this set's breaking strength vs. wallbreaking potential against defensive teams
* Ground-(AH)immune Pokemon immunities such as Mega Salamence, Yveltal, Rayquaza, and Giratina-O provide a pivot into Ground-type moves
* Fairy-(AH)types such as Xerneas, Arceus-Fairy, and Mega Diancie cover this Pokemon's Necrozma-DM's weakness to Dark-types (fyi half of this set's description is exactly the same as Double Dance. Other GPers might not be as lenient, so letting you know)

move 4: Stone Edge / Sunsteel Strike / Brick Break
item: Ultranecrozium Z
ability: Neuroforce
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* This Swords Dance set makes use of Ultra Necrozma's good base Speed instead of having to setup set up with Rock Polish or set Trick Room
* Photon Geyser is boosted by Swords Dance,(RC) and hits around many bulky Steel-(AH)types resists that the other Swords Dance sets can struggle to hit (examples)
* Earthquake offers coverage against Steel-types
* Knock Off is great for Steel-types that aren't hit hard by Earthquake,(RC) and can really mess with defensive Pokemon
* Stone Edge hits Ho-Oh and Yveltal hard,(RC) and is better against Yveltal (doesn't look like this set can touch Yvelal without Stone Edge)
* Sunsteel Strike hits most Dark-types somewhat effectively, hits Xerneas, and functions as a STAB move when as Necrozma-DM
* Break Break is specialized coverage against Pokemon such as Arceus-Dark and Steel-types that are not particularly weak to Earthquake (examples)

Set Details
========

* Ultranecrozium Z is required to transform into Ultra Necrozma,(RC) and turns Photon Geyser into Light That Burns the Sky, a move that annihilates everything except for Dark-types and bulk resists Pokemon that resist it.
* Maximum Speed is required to outspeed Marshadow, which would otherwise OHKO and steal boosts via Spectral Theif
* The remaining EVs are used to raise Ultra Necrozma's physical Attack

Usage Tips
========

* The set can be highly effective at bluffing the Double Dance or and Swords Dance Necrozma-DM sets. Use this to your advantage by convincing the opponent that their check is faster or surprise surprising them with Photon Geyser
* In addition to bluffing, use the Necrozma-DM base to help ease setup of setting up with Swords Dance before using Ultra Burst, as you are Necrozma-DM is far bulkier and are further protected by Prism Armor
* Swords Dance can be setup used against most defensive Pokemon that lack the capacity to paralyze, burn,(AC) or phaze,(RC) and against offensive Pokemon that are slower than Ultra Necrozma that also fail to OHKO it or Necrozma-DM
* Once you transition to Necrozma-DM transforms into Ultra Necrozma,(AC) there is no going back. Make sure that you aren't reliant on the Necrozma-DM form in order to check an opposing Pokemon such as Xerneas
* Light That Burns the Sky is very strong, but be mindful that it cannot be used until you've attained transforming into Ultra Necrozma form. For this reason,(AC) it helps to eliminate Dark- and Steel-types prior to transforming through Ultra Evolution Burst so you can wreck wreak havoc

Team Options
========

* Stealth Rock is essential offensive support that aids in this set's ability to get past Ho-Oh. Setters common to offense teams include Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga
* Anti-HO Anti-offense Pokemon such as Marshadow, Choice Scarf users, and Rock Polish Primal Groudon compliment complement this set's wallbreaking strength vs. against defensive teams
* Yveltal provides some nice defensive traits such as a Dark- and Ghost-type resistances while also being able to damage several defensive Pokemon that may attempt to wall Ultra Necrozma (examples)
* Xerneas provides a Dark-type resistance and an immunity to Dragon-type moves
* Mega Salamence can provide a check to Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh
* Offensive Arceus formes such as Swords Dance, Calm Mind, and all-(AH)out attacker sets pair best with this set's intentions
* Tapu Lele provides Psychic Terrain support, allowing Photon Geyser to do absurd damage and protecting Ultra Necrozma from priority—a common method of revenge killing

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* This set options opts to go for special attacks and is unique for Necrozma-DM, making it potentially more disruptive and changing the types of reactive checks that can perform well against it.
* Calm Mind is primarily to raise Special Attack,(RC) but is useful for making it harder for special attackers to revenge kill Ultra Necrozma.
* Photon Geyser is the primary STAB move,(RC) being the strong move readily available to Ultra Necrozma (it isn't. Shouldn't there be more info to this though, like what this move hits?)
* Heat Wave is key for coverage over the Steel-types that resist Photon Geyser
* Power Gem hits Ho-Oh hard,(RC) and Yveltal rather well
* Dragon Pulse can function as a secondary STAB move, generally hitting Dragons Dragon-types harder
* Earth Power compliments complements Heat Wave to hit other Steel-types and Primal Groudon a bit harder
* Dark Pulse can mess with some Psychic-types,(RC) and Giratina-O,(RC) and fish for flinches

Set Details
========

* Ultranecrozium Z is required to transform into Ultra Necrozma,(RC) and turns Photon Geyser into Light That Burns the Sky, a move that annihilates everything except for Dark-types and bulky Pokemon that resist it. resists
* Maximum Speed is required to outspeed Marshadow
* The remaining EVs are used to raise Ultra Necrozma's Special Attack

Usage Tips
========

* It's difficult for this Pokemon to bluff other sets due to having the most distinct movepool, but being one of the rarer sets makes it easier to exploit your opponent's expectations
* Calm Mind can be setup set up against most defensive Pokemon that lack the capacity to paralyze or phaze,(RC) and against offensive Pokemon that are slower than Ultra Necrozma that also and fail to OHKO it or Necrozma-DM
* Do not setup set up or aim for a clean sweep when the opponent has a Pokemon with higher base Speed. Scout Pokemon such as Xerneas and Yveltal for Choice Scarfs Scarf or Sucker Punch before attempting a clean sweep.
* You may boost with Calm Mind and break intermittently if the momentum allows you to dispose of a key defensive Pokemon before being revenge killed
* Do not be too eager to transform. It is much easier to setup set up (setup = noun/adjective; set up = verb)with Calm Mind as Necrozma-DM

Team Options
========

* Stealth Rock from setters such as Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga is essential offensive support with setters such as Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, Excadrill, Arceus-Fairy, and Dialga
* Anti-HO Anti-offense Pokemon such as Marshadow, Choice Scarf users, and Rock Polish Primal Groudon compliment complement this set's wallbreaking strength vs. against defensive teams
* Yveltal provides some nice defensive traits such as a Dark- and Ghost-type resistances while also being able to damage several defensive Pokemon that may attempt to wall Ultra Necrozma (examples; these Pokemon are different for this set)
* Xerneas provides a Dark-type resistance and an immunity to Dragon-type moves
* Mega Salamence provides a check to Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh
* Offensive Arceus formes such as Swords Dance, Calm Mind, and all-(AH)out attacker sets pair best with this set's intentions
* Tapu Lele provides Psychic Terrain support, allowing Photon Geyser to do absurd damage and protecting Ultra Necrozma from priority - a common method of revenge killing (was stated before and not really needed again)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Photon Geyser on the Swords Dance set functions as a secondary STAB move, allowing Necrozma-DM to smack around several Pokemon that it can otherwise struggle to do with (examples)
* Solganium Z can be utilized on the support set in order to yeild yield less momentum, which can be especially helpful against Pokemon such as Gothitelle
* Flash Cannon can be used on the Calm Mind set to hit some Fairy- and Rock-types a bit better
* Psyshock can hit the physical side of Pokemon via a special move (this needs to be rewritten. This just says dex info and provides no insight as to why it's in OO and not disregarded, nor does it explain Psyshock's uses in the Ubers metagame at all)
* Iron Head has more PP than Sunsteel Strike and can flinch, but it is overall inferior to Sunsteel Strike (I get 0 reasoning for why this is actually the case. Iron Head's cons aren't listed, Sunsteel Strike's pros aren't listed, and your move descriptions for all sets seem to be a bit bland as it is. Elaborate)
* Outrage can be used on Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma,(RC) but is a bad move to be locked into
* Calm Mind with Stored Power (not a complete sentence, obviously needs to be rewritten as well)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ho-Oh**: Although it dislikes Toxic, Stone Edge, or and a boosted Z-(AH)Move, Ho-Oh is generally a good check to Necrozma-DM. Ultra Necrozma has a better shot and busting through,(RC) it but is reliant on boosted attacks or Power Gem

**Primal Groudon**: Although Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma have options for smacking around Primal Groudon, it's the most common Steel-type resist Steel-resistant Pokemon in the tier and has many ways to destory destroy both forms. With that said, Primal Groudon doesn't handle Earthquakes Earthquake very well and loses one versus one one-on-one against Ultra Necrozma

**Arceus-Ground**: Support Necrozma-DM can potentially outlast support Arceus-Ground, however but (correct use of "however" after changes would ruin flow) offensive sets can dent or even OHKO Necrozma-DM under certain circumstances. Be aware that Searing Sunraze Smash can OHKO Arceus-Ground from a Speed-(AH)boosted Necrozma-DM,(AC) and Ultra Necrozma is faster

**Primal Kyogre**: With a resistence resistance to Steel and good natural bulk, Primal Kyogre can be tough for certain Necrozma-DM sets to handle,(RC) and can hit back with strong Rain-boosted Water-type moves. However,(AC) a boosted Searing Sunraze Smash can however KO most Primal Kyogre spreads sets. (The spread is the actual EV spread. You can't KO an EV spread)

**Bulky Water-types**: Support Arceus-Water and Mega Slowbro are some of the only Pokemon capable of surviving a +2 Searing Sunraze Smash, and they can hit back with Water-type moves or burns

**Zygarde-C**: Glare can prove irritating to Necrozma-DM,(AC) forms as they don't it doesn't have a good way to immediately smack Zygarde-C. Zygarde-C can also threaten Necrozma-DM via setup and Thousand Arrows,(RC) but is OHKOed by boosted Searing Sunraze Smash in Zygrade 50% as regular Zygarde.

**Bulky Dark-types**: Yveltal and Arceus-Dark have the strength, type advantage, and bulk to weather some of what Necrozma-DM can throw at them and hit back hard

**Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Celesteela, Ferrothorn, Dialga, Excadrill, and Skarmory can perform well against Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma sets,(RC).(period) However,(AC) some of these Pokemon become setup bait versus Swords Dance Necrozma-DM

**Revenge Killers**: Pokemon such as Mega Gengar and Marshadow can be strong revenge killers to Necrozma-DM. Ultra Necrozma can be revenge killed by Choice Scarf Xerneas, Yveltal sets, Mega Gengar, Marshadow, Lunala, and even Pokemon such as Mewtwo and Deoxys-A

**Burns**: Necrozma-DM's ability to resist residual damage is greatly reduced when burned, and it becomes much easier to wall due to its neutered Sunsteel Strike

* NecrzomaNecrozma-DM has a strong base 157 Attack that is reinforced by a powerful STAB combination, good coverage options, boosting moves, and an unrestricted item slot, limiting how much momentum it relinquishes on a defensive set and allowing it to fill a variety of offensive roles.
* The offensive typings types of both Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma aren't very notable, and they are reliant on brute strength and Neuroforce-boosted coverage, respectively, to break defensive Pokemon.
* Necrozma-DM is slow when unboosted, allowing many strong and bulky threats to easily outspeed and dent it.

nature: Adamant
evs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Rock Polish offsets one of Necrozma-DM's greatest offensive shortcomings, allowing it to outspeed the vast majority of offensive threats.
* Swords Dance backs up Necrozma-DM's powerful excellent Attack, allowing it to break through and punish defensive Pokemon.
* Earthquake is used to hit Primal Groudon and smacks several other Steel-resistant Pokemon type resistances such as opposing Necrozma-DM, Ferrothorn, and Toxapex.

Set Details
========

* An Adamant nature is the most efficient, (remove comma) alongside 252 Attack EVs to maximize Necrozma-DM's wallbreaking ability.
This higher bulk is especially helpful when utilizing Weakness Policy, (remove comma) and allows Necrozma-DM to have a better chance at surviving Precipice Blades from Double Dance Primal Groudon, Dark Pulse from Life Orb Yveltal, and super effective moves from Arceus formes that can smack it for supereffective damage.

Usage Tips
========

* As with many Z-Moves, Searing Sunraze Smash must be used carefully you must be keen on when to use it. No Pokemon is immune to Steel, but consider what you need damage on most, and don't be afraid to juggle some attacks as your opponent tries to shift through checks and bait the Z-Move.

Team Options
========

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========

* Ho-Oh checks such as Fire-type resistant Arceus formes, Zygarde-C, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Salamence are essential, as this set cannot punish incoming Ho-Oh much outside of Toxic.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Set Details
========

* 252 Attack EVs with an Adamant nature maximize Necrozma-DM's wallbreaking ability.
* 252 Speed EVs are used to beat out the crowded,(AC) bulky base 99 Speed tier and below.
* Run an EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def with a Brave nature if using Trick Room.

Usage Tips
========

* This set operates very similarly to the Double Dance sets (avoid reliance on reading other sets) but has slightly less bulk and can be better at creeping past bulky attackers.
* The best setup opportunities will usually be against defensive Pokemon, as they can struggle to punish Necrozma-DM.
* Be wary of Will-O-Wisp and paralysis, especially from defensive Pokemon that appear to be harmless to Necrozma-DM such as support Arceus.
* Depending on the Speed of your Necrozma-DM's teammates, Trick Room should be used aggressively or in a pinch. Most of all, use this move to instantly rob the momentum from offensive teams.
* As with many Z-Moves, You must be keen on when to use Necrozma-DM's Z-Move it. No Pokemon is immune to Steel, but consider what you need damage on most, and don't be afraid to juggle some attacks as your opponent tries to shift through checks and bait the Z-Move.

Team Options
========

[SET]
name: Ultra Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Photon Geyser
move 3: Earthquake / Knock Off
move 4: Stone Edge / Sunsteel Strike / Brick Break
item: Ultranecrozium Z
ability: Neuroforce
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Knock Off is great for Steel-types that aren't hit hard by Earthquake and can really mess with defensive Pokemon.
* Stone Edge hits Ho-Oh and Yveltal hard.
* Sunsteel Strike hits most Dark-types somewhat effectively, hits Xerneas, and functions as a STAB move when coming from as Necrozma-DM.
* Break Brick Break is specialized coverage against Pokemon such as Arceus-Dark and Steel-types that are not particularly weak to Earthquake such as Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

* Ultranecrozium Z is required to transform into Ultra Necrozma and turns Photon Geyser into Light That Burns the Sky, a move that annihilates everything except for Dark-types and bulky Pokemon that resist it.
* Maximum Speed is required to outspeed Marshadow, which would otherwise OHKO and steal boosts via Spectral Thief Theif.
* The remaining EVs are used to raise Ultra Necrozma's Attack.

Usage Tips
========

* The set can be highly effective at bluffing the Double Dance and Swords Dance Necrozma-DM sets.

========

* Tapu Lele provides Psychic Terrain support, allowing Photon Geyser to do absurd damage and protecting Ultra Necrozma from priority, a common method of revenge killing.

[SET]
name: Ultra Special Attacker
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Photon Geyser
move 3: Heat Wave
move 4: Power Gem / Dragon Pulse
item: Ultranecrozium Z
ability: Neuroforce
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

* It's difficult for this Pokemon to bluff other sets due to having the most distinct movepool, but it being one of the rarer sets makes it easier to exploit your opponent's expectations.
* You may boost with Calm Mind and break intermittently if the momentum allows you to dispose of a key defensive Pokemon before being Necrozma-DM is revenge killed.
* Do not be too eager to transform Necrozma-DM. It is much easier to set up with Calm Mind as Necrozma-DM.

Team Options
========

=============

* Calm Mind with Stored Power can be used with a bulky Necrozma-DM in order to stockpile boosts and clean, but this however lacks immediate power and is generally much easier to wall.

Checks and Counters
===================
