Made this team around CB Haxorus, as I was fairly underwhelmed by DD between not having great setup opportunities, being just barely weaker than I wanted it to be, and being easily revenge killed by Scarfers and priority. It's a great Pokemon to throw out early game and just smash everything with, easily putting Fairies and other physical walls in range of Scarf Heracross and Mega Swampert. I chose Metagross as my Stealth Rock user, with my favorite set LO Explosion to weaken the bulky waters that love to switch on it, and 2HKO every Steel-types besides Bronzong as well (even Doublade). Whimsicott and Crobat are two easy pivot to slap on. Whimsicott has Stun Spore which is amazing in conjunction with Haxorus and Metagross (para'ing an Entei switchin, for example), and U-turn of course. Crobat further supports the team with my usual Taunt U-turn set. Overall this is one of my favorite offenses I made this summer, with a great matchup against bulky teams (though you must play well around the god Alomomola) and a fairly decent one against opposing offense, who often are terribly weak to Scarf Heracross. Big weaknesses here are fast special attackers like Heliolisk, Torn, Noivern :(, and Sceptile, so offensive pressure as always is the best to keep these guys at bay.

Dual Chop's pretty much the only useful fourth moveslot on Haxorus, espcially because my team hates Galvantula as always. Superpower's a possibility to kill Shuca Cobalion and OHKO Krook. Iron Tail > Poison Jab because Iron Tail can get useful kills on Aero and Mamo without having to lock into Outrage, but mostly because of this: 252 Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Haxorus Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Sylveon: 338-398 (85.7 - 101%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 224 Atk / 16 SpD / 16 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Shadow Claw
- Shadow Sneak
Typical looking Froslass offense with a hidden gem in RestTalk Tornadus, which absolutely demolishes bulky teams that lack Aerodactyl. Taunt Nidoqueen to stop stuff like P2, Milotic, Suicune, and Cresselia from recovering, and Timid is a great option on Nidoqueen to ensure you outspeed Metagross, Swampert, Tyrantrum, Blastoise, Adamant Mamoswine, and at the very least tie opposing Nidoqueen. Without Ice Beam though, Crobat can Defog hazards away for free so be careful of that. I couldn't resist using Adamant Lucario because +2 Close Combat is so damn strong, but there is a slightly Entei weakness so Jolly is definitely an option. This team has a great matchup against opposing fat and a mediocre one against offense, where you should try to do as much damage with Lucario as possible before going for the Sharpedo sweep.

My only successful Beedrill team. Not too much to say about the overall structure of this team - Beedrill MowTom Volt Turn, CB Krook for breaking and trapping, and Scarf Mienshao as a revenge killer and cleaner that can be pretty devastating to a lot of offensive teams (and even some bulky ones). The classic XY core of Empoleon and Gligar gives me the necessary hazard support and overall does a decent job of checking (or at least pivoting in and out of) most threats. Knock Off on Empoleon fucks with Specs Sylveon and Celebi to an extent, gives me an edge in the hazard war against opposing Empoleon and Tentacruel, and makes it easier for my team to wear down defensive Sylveon, Suicune, Snorlax, Cress, and that kind of stuff. The Defense EVs let Empoleon live an attack from Entei, which is probably the number one offensive threat to this team because I have no Fire resist (Gligar is usually my pivot into Infernape, most won't go straight for a Nasty Plot against this offensive of a team). Very fun team to use.

CB Conkeldurr is a menace because it does so much damage, even to resists, with Hammer Arm, and just lives most attacks, even stuff like Aerodactyl's Wing Attack with 0/0 bulk. Like CB Haxorus from earlier, this is a great Pokemon to send out early game and chunk Scarf Infernape/HC Aero counters. This is the three Pokemon core I started with because of how well Conkeldurr clears the way for the latter two cleaners. Again, I opted for LO boom Metagross, who fits even better on this team because of how it just KOes bulky waters for Infernape and Aero. The Tentacruel has a funny set - 3 attack Toxic Spikes @ Shuca which can let it check Aero and beat all the Ground types (Mamo, Krook, Nidoking/Queen) even if Hydro Pump misses once - I didn't really feel that Black Sludge would help at all on this offensive of a team, while Life Orb just wore it down too quickly to do its job. Expert Belt is a great item to use on it too, and so is Acid Spray > Sludge Bomb or Ice Beam. Lastly, Hydreigon is so good against bulky teams, punishes shit trying to play around it extremely well, especially in conjunction with Toxic Spikes, and is such a great Pokemon to lure in cleric Sylveon for the entirety of my team. This team plays very easily - get up hazards ASAP, break shit early with Conk and Hydreigon, and clean up easily with Infernape and Aerodactyl.

An HO team from way back in UUPL featuring Life Orb Tornadus, an extremely scary wallbreaker that even provides amazing support to its teammates (mainly Nidoqueen). These two Pokemon form an excellent core, as Taunt Nidoqueen ensures that all of Tornadus's checks stay within Hurricane/Focus Blast range against defensive teams, and Nidoqueen under Tailwind is a huge threat to offensive teams. A lot of balances and bulky offenses are typically weak to offensive Suicune, and Suicune also checks Aero, Swampert under Rain, etc for me. Hone Claws Aero and Entei give me some nice resistances and more power/cleaning capabilities, and finally, I maintain that Sash Knock Off + Explosion Azelf is the overall best SR lead for HO in the tier.

This is the team I used throughout the Open, and the one that saved me several times cause I am the 20%. CB Conk and Krook, while slightly redundant in actual coverage, support each other very well in terms of opposing checks. CB Conk is also my last true failsafe against Suicune, otherwise this team would totally lose to it. When I designed this team, it was to be anti-meta against Hydreigon, Mega Beedrill, Mega Aero to some degree, and common stall, hence the strange Scarf Espeon set. No, I don't think Scarf Espeon is good, it just worked on this team as a surprise factor. Fun note, Alobliss cannot beat this team if used correctly.

This team was dedicated to work against a very particular kind of Bulky Balance/Semi Stall style teams. Think Cresselia, Chesnaught, etc. By using common Pokemon with uncommon sets, the team can deconstruct those kinds of teams through a combination of offensive pivoting, statusing, and opportunistic setups. Unfortunately, when I used it, I choked. Hopefully you won't.

One of the few teams I have that uses Entei, everything focuses around Sylveon, Machamp, and Entei smacking through as many walls as possible, with Healing Wish being used to reinforce that capacity. Through a combination of pivoting and wallbreaking, Celebi is able to sneak a HW in order to change the balance of the game.

I originally made this team for Mazz for our mutual Quarter Final appearance. The idea, once again, is to utilize common Pokemon with uncommon sets (at least for me, as people usually expect Trick + Flame Orb from me). Sylveon is not only able to set up and get a quick Revenge kill on Hydreigon, but is also able to pass its Calm Mind's to Hydreigon, Rotom-H, and even Celebi if the matchup is right. Cobalion also just wins against certain teams that have multiple Special Defensive Checks. Lastly, HW Support Celebi is able to get multiple jobs done, especially when a sneaky HW can win the game.

Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 SpD

Celebi @ Leftovers

Conkeldurr @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Swampert-Mega @ Swampertite
Ability: Damp
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch

A classic looking Bulky Offense team with a classic overpowered Nasty Plot Celebi set that can brokenly pass its absurd boost to something that can clean teams. Conk and Swamp support the checks and counters that Empoleon, Hydrei and Celebi face, including Special Walls and opposing Bulky Offense teams. However, at a +2, Empoleon can break almost anything, if not a 2HKO. Agility is cool.

Krookodile @ Leftovers

Kyurem @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse

A classic Kink team that utilizes Kyurem instead of Hydreigon as the team's main receiver of Baton Pass. If you thought Choice Specs was strong, just wait till you see what +2 can break with Rocks. Having Toxic + Toxic Spikes on Tenta allows it to diversify its support role in relation to this team's needs, especially when the opposing team has T-spike absorber's or exceptional hazard control. This team is very self explanatory, so I'll leave it at that.

Thanks for all the support guys, I hope you have fun using these teams.

I didn't build this team specifically for the open but it was used by stallion, analytic, and whitequeen. I just wanted to build around sylveon when it first dropped down and wanted it supported by some fat win con that appreciates steels being heavily dented. CM Cress is great and brought a lot of defensive utility. The rest of the team is pretty standard balance with doublade over forry I dont remember why and SD sceptile because +2 leaf blade/eq is really tough to switch into. The team is really weak to cm roar cune so I'm heavily considering running my own with tons of speed creep.

I built this team in round 2 of the open when I was paired with Lord Outrage. I noticed he likes to use relatively bulky stuff and his teams really struggled to switch into abomasnow. I wanted to support it with a defensive backbone that still exerts some offensive pressure and came up with the combination of slowking, sylveon, krookodile. This was during round 2 so I had an LO defog mence over crobat and band gross was added as a sylv switch in that doesnt really suck up momentum. After the mence ban, stallion replaced mence with bat and its been working nicely. Explosion was over BP specifically for the game vs outrage because I realized explosion gross could easily lure the bulky waters he likes to use. Only real gripe I have with this team is that it's kind of slow but I think the sturdy defensive backbone makes up for it.

I built this to play blunder in round 3. I wanted to use mamoswine because I saw that the defensive backbones in the teams he uses struggles with them. Mamo struggles a ton vs offense so I wanted a team that has a great offense match up and capitalizes on mamo pressuring bulky waters/forry. Toxic gross is for cresselia. This was the team stallion wouldve used if his series vs vinc went to a game 3 and he changed conk from AV to Bulk Up with leftovers.

When preparing for the killintime series, stallion decided to use a cool stall team (I think he will post it since he built it and I only edited it a bit) for game 1 which backfired due to a choke. For game 2, we wanted to abuse killintime's gravitation towards defensive teams. He used a lot of escav, gligar stuff so we went with specs trick porygon z. Its a pretty cool mon albeit not amazing in a general sense but it had the surprise factor stallion wanted. Beedrill was an obvious addition because it baits in mons like forry, doublade, empoleon, gligar for PZ to just blow away. The other versions of the team were really offensive but this one had a sturdy defensive backbone because while the goal was to surprise killintime with an underrated offensive threat, we also wanted use things he's weak to defensively such as curselax and haze milo. Fortunately these fit on the team pretty well only leaving weaknesses to things like BU conk and other things I cant remember.

Will edit in the importable after UU majors

Kingler used very offensive teams that often lacked switch ins to powerful wallbreakers like entei and instead capitalized on overwhelming the opponent with a combination of offensive pivots, wall breakers, and set up mons. I noticed a big weakness to DD 3 attacks gyarados and decided to build around that. I honestly can't give a much more complicated thought process because I was just added offensive threats that synergize well with each other offensively and defensively. DD Cobalion, DD Gyarados, and RD Pert all share common checks that gross can boom on, azelf sets rocks and is also tough to switch into because of its coverage and hydreigon is hydreigon.

Stallion also used this team today in the finals because of its reliability and his confidence in it.

Staying with the idea of using powerful wallbreakers, I built an entei team for g2 that was relatively bulky. Virizion was used because it pressures a lot of these forrypert balances along w the mons kingler liked to use and baited in entei food like doublade. The game didn't go so well tho due to 2 turns of terrible hax. I dont really like this team anymore but virizion is fantastic.

It was around now where we realized BU conk is broken. I wanted stallion to use aero g3 since kingler had a tendency to bring teams that struggle with it a lot in his g3s and decided to support it with a very bulky backbone. This team looks really similar to pearl's balance but its hard to build balance that is unique and effective. The sets are also similar but I think my jelli has hex to better pressure suicune and aerodactyl has a silly tech in fly to force out NP celebi since its the biggest threat to the team. I suggested it as a joke but stallion liked the idea during testing and decided to go with it.

Vinc was imo the toughest opponent since his playing was very very solid and his team building quite unpredictable since he just recycled teams like round 1-6 and built some very strong teams to play vs whitequeen. I did notice 1 thing immediately: he uses empoleon and beedrill A LOT. Bee is one of the most annoying mons because it has u turn which means it can u turn out of any bad match up. Basically, if you didn't have a pursuit aero, beedrill will annoy your team. I didn't want stallion to use aero because vinc is very well prepped for it so the concept I had in mind was to pressure bee with rocks and just prevent vinc from removing them. Looking thru the tier, I realized heliolisk threatens every single hazard remover in some way. After this, I thought why not go all out and use spikes. The team underwent many changes (Helio+qwilfish, qwil is ass dont use it) but ended up pretty standard looking and really solid balance. Forry/Pert is a very solid hazard stacking duo that can check almost the entire metagame and sylv checks what those 2 dont. Bee is a momentum machine where it comes in and u turns out and just forces the opponent to play on the defensive. Gyara was added last because I wanted some set up sweeper to clean up the team but also something that can set up on gligar which can check helio and switch into bee without any worry. The team worked beautifully in testing but the game vs vinc was quite haxy but I still think it was a nice game.

This team wasn't initially planned to be used vs king uu but stallion used it because he was having trouble deciding and this one was pretty solid. The idea was just that many teams lack a switch in to specs kyurem besides sylveon (unless the team has bronzong) and after rocks or a knock off from conk, ice beam can 2hko. Once sylveon is dead, there's really nothing stopping a BU conk sweep besides like a crobat which the team deals with ok. Someone in the stours chat was surprised that pert is offensive RD because it exacerbates the entei weakness but throughout his entire open run, king uu only used entei once so I wasnt worried about it.

A pretty fun Absol Offense with toxicroak as the partner since it handles the waters absol can't break without an sd. Went for the special set since vacuum wave is nice to have for hydreigon. Pert+Bat is a really easy to add core on most bulky offenses while bandgross gave me a cool wallbreaker that can check sylv and specs sylv is a nuke that can pivot into hydreigon nicely.

Built this with Whisudi. Hone claws aerodactyl is such a powerful win condition against those bulky offense teams that has flimsy aero checks like shuca empoleon or forretress. Decided to start off with mixgross and virizion so that I have a lure for common aero checks as well as a direct way to pressure them in viriz and defeat cune. Krookodile was added for rocks and since I had pursuit and needed an entei/hydreigon check, lax became the next member as a slow set up sweeper that also appreciates gross luring steels like doublade and krook pursuiting ghosts. Tenta was added as a secondary check to entei, sylv, and to spin away hazards. I have no idea why dazzling gleam is on there but stallion used it twice and never changed it so yeah haha.

This is one of my favorites. This was the team that was initially going to be used vs Vinc for g1 before I built the helio team. The initial concept was that Vinc struggles a lot with mons that can hit both empoleon and gligar supereffectively. The choices were like Mamoswine, kyurem, and some other silly less optimal stuff. Mamo seemed like the best choice because of its ability to immediately pressure offensively oriented archetypes so I went with that. Threw on Bee because I know I wanted to keep up the pressure constantly. My mind gravitated towards empoleon next because it has insane role compression. The one thing I hate about some offensive teams is their inability to carry switch ins for certain wall breakers. This is usually fine because its offense but the team should be able to handle wall breakers that can threaten offense with priority or high speed (essentially, a mon that can fit the role of wall breaker and offense breaker). Entei is one of those mons and I wanted the best check possible but didnt want to use something fat like pert so I thought of offensive CM Cune. It was originally tailwind, ice beam, hydro to support mamo even further but stallion suggested signal beam + extra sensory because I now have a cool celebi lure (which also hits grass types in general for decent damage) and also something to destroy toxicroak and tentacruel. The set may seem underwhelming in general and probably is but its a great fit for this team because cune's goal isnt really to sweep but rather take some hits and soften up some checks and nab some surprise kills. Scarf Rotom-mow was added as a form of speed control as well as a volt switch user that can pressure bulky waters and check gyarados. I added azelf as last because I loved offensive LO azelf on the HO posted above. After some test games I realized that the most common counterplay for azelf (on teams that lack pursuit aero or good forms of speed control) is pivoting around and then abusing the coverage move that azelf lacks. So I decided to just run 4 attacks LO azelf and put rocks on empoleon. Once hydreigon is (hopefully!) banned, I can run thunderbolt > dazzling gleam. Finally, stallion and I realized the team is really annoyed by opposing empoleon so after experimenting with things like tbolt over eball on azelf and hp electric on both our empoleon and suicune, stallion decided to put BU conk over mamoswine since he felt mamoswine wasnt pulling its weight despite the team being built around it. This change gave a better balance breaker than mamo and despite losing valuable priority in ice shard, mach punch is just as good vs annoying threats like krookodile. Conk can also use roar-less empoleon as set up fodder which is quite common now since many players are using the offensive shuca set. This team is still a work in progress but its very fun to use and has been effective for both stallion and I as well as other users I gave it to.

It worked wonderfully in practice and he brought it vs killintime in game 1. Funnily enough, Killintime's team was actually really weak to this thing if stallion had aromatherapy over flamethrower. Pretty funny set.

Perish Song Celebi

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Giga Drain
- Psychic
- Perish Song

I don't have proper EVs and also wouldnt recommend the current set but the idea is perish song celebi. It's a neat tech that helps teams that are pretty weak to curselax and other bulky set up sweepers but beyond that, it forces tons of switches. Using this in tandem with spikes as well as taunt support and counterplay to offensive teams can make for a deadly combination.

Band Cloyster

Cloyster @ Choice Band
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Ice Shard
- Explosion

Cloyster is a dangerous mon but the shell smash set has trouble setting up as well as actually sweeping due to different forms of priority as mons resisting its stab combination (I think the best SS sets should be mixed with LO maybe). Banded cloyster gets rid of the need to set up to do damage and forms a lure for bulky waters in explosion. Really cool set and should be used with volturn support.

I used other cool/silly things that weren't revealed in the battles but they encompassed things like psych up metagross, toxic on random mons, mixed 4 attacks tornadus, and so on.

Overall, very fun tour and I wish I made it farther. Congrats to king uu and thanks to teal for hosting! I'll probably edit in some more teams I built later. Also expect an rmt soon of the team that 6-0d both killintime and vinc!

i dont think ice beam is necessary in this metagame with mence gone so i thought this was a pretty cool tech. spread is to live +2 celebis giga drain after rocks damage iirc. fucks with a lot of special attackers like pixie and hydreigon while still being the fat mon that it is. milos last slot is pretty flexible though, ive seen finch run hypnosis on an offense team he made r1. really just depends on what fits best for ur team, i just think ice beam is kinda useless cause its not really doing substantial damage to anything especially since mence is a goner and in some cases ur better just fishing for a burn

this isnt the most creative set but its not common so i think its worth posting. yawn really fucks with a lot of common pert switch ins, not much else to say. puts ur opp on the backfoot and gives u a little bit more legroom to set up rocks vs some things

celebi or shaymin are pretty good at the whole hw deal but i think this set is pretty cool although i think i mightve posted this before. this thing fucks with offensive teams since its coverage is actually pretty good. signal beam is probably my favorite part of this set cause fuck a celebi but you can tailor it to whatever ur team needs and lunar dance is sick for obv reasons

no md sprites but sd x-scissor virizion is a pretty nice set as well. bug coverage on cobal is getting a bit more common these days i think but viriz has some nice defensive utility and celebi will p much switch into viriz 9.65 / 10 times, so this is a nice way to fuck with the standard celebi krook type builds u see these days

i built a lot of teams and helped some people test but the only team i really liked was this one although i edited it to reflect the current meta

i originally built this team for tim to use vs koko. the only changes i made were psychic > twave on celebi to combat conk better, rh -> cb krook because apparently when i gave it to tim i thought it was a good idea to have double rocks, and mence over aero just cause its mence. the team is pretty standard, i saw sacri's post about sr celebi and i thought it was a p cool twist on these kind of builds since celebi can pivot into krook a lot easier with uturn so trapping steels is a lot easier. i think bp sylv is kinda bleh but u can use it here if u want. hyper beam is kind of situational but it just fuckin kills everything lol and softens shit up for aero and doublade. everything else here is kinda glue, aero + milo + doublade cover a good portion of the meta but you can mess around with moveslots if u want. i didnt know what else to put on aero cause apparently no one likes using roost on it anymore for some reason but i guess hc is a pretty reliable last slot anyway. making milo standard is also an option obv, shadow claw can work on doublade if youre afraid of cress but i generally think snorlax is more of a threat anyway. if u r really that afraid of it then tox is a cool option on sylv to fuck widdit. shit like haxorus are really annoying to this team so in some matchups playing aggro is really necessary which is never my style but w/e

i also wanted to build a specs galv team for tim to use r1 cause it fucks ups a lot of kokos builds but i couldnt get it to work...i honestly dont like uu right now and a lot of my teams look the same or similar to the ones already posted here so meh. thanks dodmen for making this thread, dumping this kinda stuff is nice for dudes looking to get into the tier:heart: congrats to king uu for winning it all and grats to stallion as well, you had a lot of interesting squads and ur games were entertaining to watch (not in a bad way obv lol). thanks for reading as usual

Nothing too fancy set wise but yeah I built this in preparation for his series against blunder. AoA hydreigon and NP celebi are very good at breaking down bulkier teams and that's really what this team is meant to do. Blunder liked using bronzong a lot so I thought shadow ball celebi would do well there and it ended up working out. I really like using empo + glig in this meta because it is only a 2 mon core and it walls a wide amount of threats for only a 2 mon core and it free's up a slot for more offensive pressure as opposed to a traditional 3 mon balance core. that let me use something like mamo that provided priority and another nuke against the more bulkier builds that blunder had been bringing.

Another team I built for sabella that he could use against more bulkier builds. A lot of his opponents throughout the tour had been bringing fatter and slower teams and SD gatr fiends on those types of teams so I made one around it. And even if SD gatr doesn't completely win the game, It softens up a lot of potential checks to SD cobalion, which I thought would be a great partner for it. Pursuit Aero revenge kills and traps grass types to help gatr. fast but not full core shredder tenta controls hazards, dishes out burns and drops t spikes. Celebi checks bulky waters and is just another back up wincon. shits fucking busted why the fuck wouldn't I use it. Krook was nice because Metagross ate this teams ass when I was looking at it so its a nice mon to have to take care of that issue while still providing shit loads of utility. Could use either taunt on aero or krook depending on which one you want to be the trapper. Or even run aqua tail on aero to lure other krookodile, all up to choice.

So many cools builds on here. I'm gunna steal some *_*

Now that both my UU Open and my UU Majors runs are over, allow me to showcase my UU Open teams, cores, and sets I used.

Legendary Six Samurai: SubSalac Delphox
Appearances: Game 2 vs. 0Nl (Round 2); Game 3 vs. Mazz (Round 4)

EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Calm Mind
- Fire Blast
- Psyshock

I actually am obsessed to pinch berries ever since to a point that I am lunatic enough to pull it off. Nightingales aside, I have a huge obsession to Delphox because of the set I have patented, thanks to its unconventional Speed tier, a unique offensive typing that Victini shares, and the ability in Blaze that usually associates with starter Pokemon. Delphox can warrant a late-game sweep provided Bulky Water-types and other Pokemon resisting a Blaze-boosted Fire Blast are significantly weakened. Of course, it has to forgo Grass Knot, so it has to support against bulky Waters that can take Psyshock fairly well, such as Swampert, Suicune, and Slowking. 4 HP EVs warrant a Salac Berry boost upon taking three substitutes.

*In the game vs. Mazz, I used Timid nature here because I'd get outrun by a lot of Pokemon, especially Jolly/Timid Base 80's before setting up Agility. However, Modest nature seems to be an optimal choice especially it can definitely outrun the fastest Pokemon relevant in the Underused tier: Mega Aerodactyl.

There was one time a clanmate of mine wanted to test a team, and the team has a lot of potential. As such, I put a bit of magic to his team and turned out as the most menacing team I have ever made. However, I featured here Nasty Plot Celebi and Agility Moltres because they are undoubtedly the stars of the show. With Celebi's passing capabilities, it can make even low-lying Pokemon as a menacing force, and I capitalized it with Moltres's near perfect offensive typing. With Moltres's moves having a chance to miss (shoutout to Accelgor for now understanding why I put in the name Christine Ha for Moltres), I have to put in Wide Lens to warrant a late-game sweep.

However, that doesn't mean that Celebi has its job done; Celebi could also work as a late-game sweeper even with Giga Drain and Psychic being its moves of choice. This is why Celebi serves both as a catalyst to Moltres's offensive presence and as a stand-out threat to most Pokemon in the Underused tier. This shows how Celebi can create a threat out of a lowkey Pokemon such as Moltres.

Enough of the Marill shenanigans, Linoone is the real deal. Anyway, this team was born when former Iron Chef Hogg released a theme that requires us to build a team with at least two Pokemon having moves that can faint itself, such as Explosion, Healing Wish, and Memento. As such, these Pokemon sprung to mind as my starting point: Memento Chandelure and Belly Drum Linoone. From there, I wanted to exploit as many set-up opportunities as possible; hence the addition of Hypnosis Bronzong and Encore Whimsicott. Finally, Cloyster is there to break any lead even without Shell Smash up, and Tyrantrum is added as a wall breaker.

This team brought Meru into one of the closest matches ever witnessed in the first round of the UU Open. Though Linoone didn't make the kill against Doublade after one Intimidate from Salamence kicked in, I just have to rely on my (poisoned) Tyrantrum to deal massive damage to his team as much as possible before it gets succumbed to Poison damage. Rapid Spin Cloyster is another MVP worth noting in this match because Meru "could have gotten the win if it the hazards are still up", thinking that I don't have a form of hazard control.

(mfw no one else used Linoone in the entirety of UU Open, lol)

This team is actually inspired after I myself brought a theme in the second cycle of the first season of UU MasterChef which requires participants to build a team with two Pokemon resurrected from a fossil, so this Tyrantrum + Mega Aerodactyl team is born. Now, I have retired this team because Azelf has now made its home in the Overused tier. This actually broke my boundaries of building typical balance teams and make a pretty hyper offensive variation so that people wouldn't capitalize on getting my team building pattern.

I manifested the mindset of "killing everything in sight" in that match vs. North because my win conditions comprise of Double Dance Tyrantrum and Hone Claws Mega Aerodactyl. However, I somehow struggled to take his team down until I clutched the victory with Signal Beam Rotom-Mow (with Choice Scarf equipped), and that's one of the best things I've ever done.

I could have RMT'd this team earlier if it weren't for my extremely busy schedule and the prompt timing of the Hydreigon suspect test (but I have made a write-up of this team already). Anyway; this is another take on a Balanced team which capitalizes LilOu's classic Assault Vest Reuniclus paired with Choice Band Heracross. This team works very well, especially if you are strapped of Specially Defensive Pokemon that are weak to a lot of Special attacks such as Empoleon being weak to Nidoqueen's/Nidoking's Sheer Force-boosted Earth Power.

As of this moment, the team remains undefeated in official tournament exposure: in the course of UU Open V, Memoric and SunnyORAS managed to defeat their respective opponents with this team, though they lost the whole series; Confide, on the other hand, managed to defeat atomicllamas with it and advanced past Round 2. I used this team in Round 2 of the UU Open V as well, sealing the victory over my opponent 0Nl in a convincing fashion.
EDIT:
Of course, there's Injustice: Gods Among Us, which all of you should already have known by now, and there's #ChangeIsComing, which I feature in the Teambuilding Lab as well.
