Smogon Live Tournament 11/14/09

The LIVE Tournaments are on the IRC channel #smogonwifi. We play these tournaments relatively often so keep your eye on Wifi Tournaments for a thread titled similarly to this one. Also, if enough people are on as well as someone to run the tournament, we could have one at any time. So its a good idea to stay in #smogonwifi participate in discussion and have fun!

The tournaments being held 11/14 will be the following format:

#1 Japanese VGC 2010 Doubles - Double Elim

#2 Standard OU - Swiss

#3+ Whatever there is demand for!
If you feel like playing OU or UU or even Ubers, come online and say so! If we have 8 players wanting a certain type of tournament, we WILL hold it!


The tournaments will hopefully start from 10:00 EST.​

Why is there TWO different VGC tournies, but no OU or even UU tournies?
Something is wrong with that.

we never get enough people to play ou, we have tried and get 3-4 whereas we regularly get 8-16 for VGC. You yourself are never on to play OU, but as tournament #3+ says we will hold any tournament that enough people want to play, so if there legitimately are people wanting to play just lmk.

EDIT: After talking with LF we have decided to do OU as two and see if having in the thread will impact how many people come wanting to play OU. If we don't have 8 we will do 09 rules VGC instead.
