Wow, a New Thread! Or: What is the Medal Rally?​

Welcome to the Doubles Medal Rally! Ever wanted something to satisfy the completionist urge within you? Didn't get your achievements system fix from your Xbox games? Wanted more reason to participate in forum projects, or more recognition for that brilliant team you just created or that amazing ladder run you made with Furret and Wish Kangaskhan? You've come to the right place! At the Doubles Medal Rally, there's something for everyone, and there'll be something just for you!

Pixels For Everyone, Or: Participating in the Medal Rally​

Every six weeks, some forum threads will be selected for eligibility in the Doubles Medal Rally. Each thread will have certain accomplishments tagged to it; completion of these targets will grant you a medal, it's as simple as that! Plus, there's no troublesome reporting of achievements along with screenshotted proof and handcams and erotic Google searches and everything—as far as possible, your achievements will be reflected in this thread when we update the thread, with no extra effort on your part!

Showing Off, Or: What Are Medals For?​

When you first receive a medal, your name will be recorded in this thread, along with the medals that you've received. Each medal is worth a certain number of points depending on its difficulty, so as you collect more medals, not only does your collection become more expansive, but you get more points too! Finally, the user with the most points at the end of the month will get their name in the roomintro in the Pokemon Showdown! Doubles Room, so you can show everyone your OCD-level medal-gathering skills!

DOU Teambuilding Competition

Teambuilding Novice (2) - Have your team place as the runner-up or champion for one week (Week 19 and on).

Teambuilding Expert (2) - Win a week of the Teambuilding Competition (Week 19 and on).

Teambuilding Virtuoso (3) - Win two weeks of the Teambuilding Competition (Week 19 and on).

Fall Cup

Fall Guy (1) - Win a match in the Fall Cup 2-0.

* Fall From Grace (1) - Win a DUbers match in the Fall Cup.

Fallen Angel (1) - Win a BW match in the Fall Cup.

Falling Upwards (2) - Win two rounds of the Fall Cup.

Nuclear Fallout (2) - Win three rounds of the Fall Cup.

Doubles OU Room Tournament Championship

Room With a View (1) - Place in the top 3 in an Official Room Tournament.

King For a Day (2) - Win an Official Room Tournament.

King of the Hill (3) - Win three Official Room Tournaments.

No Room For Error (3) - Gain 10 points from Official Room Tournaments.

Season 1 of the Medal Rally has concluded. Congratulations to Yoda2798 for winning this Season's medal Rally with 17/23 points, narrowly taking it over the runner-up Yellow Paint with 15 points! The success of this project will be evaluated before the next season begins (hint: it likely won't happen).
