[OVERVIEW]
Tympole may have nice coverage moves, but its horrid stats make it only somewhat usable in rain, which can only be set with Rain Dance Even as a rain sweeper, it finds itself outclassed by Mantyke, whose better stats give it more opportunities to set Rain Dance and whose better coverage moves and power make it more threatening than Tympole. Rain Dance is also difficult to use, as Tympole has to find a turn to set up with its poor bulk, only to gain four turns of rain after. This makes other offensive Water-types that don't rely on Rain Dance like Wingull and Staryu much more favorable to a team; they can also provide utility by clearing entry hazards.

[SET COMMENTS]
Tympole's best bet is to run its coverage moves and attempt to sweep after setting up Rain Dance, which can be difficult to set up due to Tympole's poor bulk. However, rain isn't a very threatening archetype,as Rain Dance only grants four turns of rain once set up, and so other offensive Water-types, like Wingull and Staryu, outclass Tympole because they bring more utility to a team and can threaten Grass-types and Croagunk better than Tympole ever could.

[OVERVIEW]
  • This reads too positive to me. First sentence should be about how shit Tympole's stats are, making it completely useless outside of rain (which has to be set manually).
  • Then talk about how it has a few advantages in rain, but Mantyke does them better, and add things about how Mantyke has better stats, etc.
  • Talk about how even in rain, its not that strong and prone to being taken out.
  • Then talk about how manual rain is tough and leaves it on a timer
  • Talk about how Wingull and Staryu offer utility to a team as well (through Defog/Spin/Forcing switches)

[SET]
This is fine

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Re-iterate that with LO Tympole really doesn't have the bulk to set rain dance most of the time either, and then it only has 4 turns to sweep.

[OVERVIEW]

I'd split the end of the last sentence into another sentence honestly, it's feeling rather cramped. Something like "Wingull and Staryu also provide more utility to teams than Tympole due to their access to Defog and Rapid Spin."

[SET]

Looks fine.

This is fine.

Tympole may have nice coverage moves, but its horrid stats make it only somewhat usable in rain, which can only be set with Rain Dance. manually. Even as a rain sweeper, (comma) it finds itself outclassed by Mantyke, whose better stats give it more opportunities to set Rain Dance, (remove comma) and whose better coverage moves and power make it more threatening than Tympole. Manual rain Rain Dance (a little more precise) is also difficult to use, as Tympole has to find a turn to set up with its poor bulk, only to gain four turns of rain after. This makes other offensive Water-types that don't rely on Rain Dance like Wingull and Staryu much more favorable to a team; (change comma to semicolon, I think you mean to present this as an additional reason instead of a cause) as they can also provide utility by clearing entry hazards.

However, manual rain isn't a very threatening archetype, (there are no Drizzle users in LC, so "manual rain" is the same as "rain" as an archetype, right?) as Rain Dance only granting grants four turns of rain once set up, and so other offensive Water-types, like Wingull and Staryu, outclass Tympole as because they bring more utility to a team and can threaten Grass-types and Croagunk better than Tympole ever could.
