Alright, so in this thread, we'll be working on creating threat list entries for the many viable and relevant Pokemon in the XY Doubles metagame. We're basically going to be providing a brief paragraph as to what role the given Pokemon fulfill in the metagame. Format taken from Spirit 's RU Threatlist
Here are some ground rules:

Reserving:
Here are some ground rules:
- You may only reserve two Pokemon at any given moment and three if you are a badgeholder. You may not reserve any more until you have all of your current threat list entries completed.
- You have three days maximum to complete your reservation, any more and it will be revoked. It really doesn't take that long to write a simple paragraph, and if you display a tendency to place reservations without completing them, then you will not be allowed to place any reservations at all.
- Make a new post once you've completed your reservation. This makes it easier for me to keep track of threat list entries instead of having to continually look back to see if you finished your work.
- Please have prior knowledge about the XY Doubles metagame before you place a reservation. Also make sure that you can write a coherent paragraph as well. I do have the right to reject threat list entries if the quality and/or content isn't up to snuff. So if one of these things applies to you, it's simply best not to waste everyone's time reserving something.
- If there's a Pokemon that you believe should be included in the threat list and is not there, you may make a case in this thread stating why it should be included.
The threat list entries will follow a specific format, as such:
HTML:
[sprite]
Pokemon
Type: Type 1 / Type 2 (if applicable)
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe
Ability: First / Second / Third (if applicable)
*note* underline second (or third) ability if it is more pertinent than the first ability
- In regards to sprites, use this source to acquire them
- No fancy custom sprites or anything of that sort is to be used other than the given source
- Keep it concise. The threat list entries should be no more than a single paragraph for each one.
- You only describe the Pokemon's role in the given metagame. This means you do not list flaws. You simply state why the Pokemon in question is a threat. Listing flaws does not tell the reader why a Pokemon is a threat.
- These are not overviews. I do not want to see any references to past generations or metagames. Anything along the lines of, "with the advent of" or "in previous generations" is strictly prohibited.
- You don't need a conclusion. You can simply finish a paragraph stating one of the Pokemon's characteristics and leave it at that. Only include a conclusion if it contains actual content.
- Cut down on the fluff. Avoid making references to a Pokemon's aesthetics, history, or anything else that doesn't have to do with its general functionality. Phrases such as "despite its harmless exterior" or anything similar is not allowed.
- Don't be too descriptive. For instance, instead of listing out all the viable moves a Pokemon can run, simply state along the lines of, "it has good coverage". This also falls along the lines of abilities as well. For example, if a Pokemon has many useful abilities, simply state that "it has many useful abilities" or something similar as opposed to listing out each and every single one. Only be specific if the ability/move plays a key role in the Pokemon's viability. An example of that is Swift Swim in the case of Ludicolo, etc.
