hey there, welcome to smogon. :) I saw you post in the Scizor thread asking where you could practice. idk if you saw the reply, but pokemonshowdown.com is our official simulator, and you can go there, make teams, and battle against other people online. it's a great place to get used to mechanics and what works best before you start breeding everything for your game. if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
