  1. np: NU Stage 3 - Riders on the Storm

I'm going to have to agree with No Luck Involved on Gurdurr. Even unboosted your opponent will be hard-pressed on OHKO it with any move that isn't STAB and supereffective. I've ended a number of battles so far with Gurdurr going to town at +1 and I'm using him on a rain team with Ludicolo and...
  2. Research Week #5 - Emboar, Muk, Meganium, Pelipper

Fair enough, I would personally use something like Life Orb or Choice Scarf. But if you can keep hazards under control, then go right ahead.
  3. Research Week #5 - Emboar, Muk, Meganium, Pelipper

I'm assuming you're using this as a lead, because hazards are really common in NU and Emboar is vulnerable to all of them. Or am i mistaken?
  4. np: NU Stage 2 - Part of Your World

Corsola's poor stat distribution and equally bad defensive typing does not seem to lend itself as an effective Screener/Wall. I personally don't think it will work very well but that doesn't mean you can't try it anyway!

  6. Research Week #3 - Shelmet, Lopunny, Cradily, Relicanth

I've found that CB Relicanth is the most effective Relicanth in my experience. I'm sure that Rock Polish is a great late-game sweeper but I never seem to get a chance to boost. Anyways, Banded Head Smash lays waste to a good chunk of the tier, and Waterfall cleans up pretty much everything else...

  8. NU CCAT 2: Step 1

Indeed. Skuntank move 1: Sucker Punch move 2: Pursuit move 3: Poison Jab move 4: Taunt item: Life Orb nature: Adamant ability: Aftermath / Stench evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe This thing is a great way of getting rid of all of the those pesky Psychic types that conveniently...
  9. Ground-types: 4x Less Puns than Rock-types

Well ground types are immune to it's STAB.
  10. Sword Storm (a Dream World Rain Team)

Hey there, I really like how you are using more obscure sets that still take advantage of rain just as well as any other typical rain abusers. I have to try that Specs Tornadus set now. Anyway, IMO, Bulldoze on Ferro doesn't seem really worth it. I understand that it 2KOs Magnezone and...

  12. Masquerain

Could you please submit some calcs or logs to back up your previous statement? Saying that something sweeps entire teams is a pretty big stretch on its own, and you just applied that to a Masquerain. It's not that I don't doubt you , I would just like to see some proof.
  13. Watch The Throne [peaked at #42]

No problem :) And thanks for clarifying the speed on Rhyperior, I wasnt sure if it was for outspeeding slow walls or not. Also its your team, and your Rotom set. I just wanted to point out some things that might have gone unnoticed. Go ahead and do what ever you think is best. Ill be more...
  14. Watch The Throne [peaked at #42]

Hey there, good looking team. I think ive seen that core before and it was really effective as I remember. But I do have a couple of nitpicks/questions: Is there a reason that there you have invested in speed on Rhyperior as opposed to dropping those evs in HP for instance? I honestly cannot...
  15. Just Add Water

On your Snorlax, I would recommend switching Body Slam to Return because you are sweeping late game and your trying to kill mons and not cripple them. More power>chance to paralyze. Overall great team and good luck!
