Ubers Arceus-Fairy

[OVERVIEW]

* Arceus-Fairy has a really good defensive type, making it the best check for Dark-types such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal, and it also has an immunity to Dragon attacks, allowing it to being a decent check to most Dragon-types in the tier.
* Arceus-Fairy has excellent stats overall and has access to an expansive movepool, including Defog, Stealth Rock, and Toxic, allowing it to being a very good support.
* Its movepool also allows it to run offensive sets, such as Calm Mind or Offensive with 3 attacks.
* There's only a few Pokemon in the tier that can resist Arceus-Fairy's STAB moves, being Fire- and Steel-types mostly, such as Primal Groudon and Solgaleo.
* It access to the unique Fairy-type Judgment coupled with Earth Power coverage allows it to hit Pokemon that resist Fairy-type moves such as Mega Gengar and Primal Groudon.
* Its movepool also allows it to run offensive sets, such as Calm Mind or Offensive 3 Attacks.
* However, Arceus-Fairy suffers from the omnipresence of Ho-Oh, Steel-types, and Mega Gengar in the metagame, making it rarely preferred over other Arceus formes with a better typing such as Arceus-Ground and Arceus-Water.
* Other Fairy- and Steel-types such as Klefki and Magearna outclass Arceus-Fairy by offering better typing and utility while it also freeing an Arceus slot for the team.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Calm Mind is Arceus-Fairy's setup move and boosts its Special Attack to threat the opponent team.
* Recover allows Arceus-Fairy to maintain its healthy while setting up.
* Judgment is Arceus-Fairy's most powerful STAB move and is Pixie Plate-boosted, OKHOing threats such as Salamence Mega, Yveltal, and Arceus-Dark at +1.
* Earth Power completes Arceus-Fairy's coverage, hitting Primal Groudon and Steel-types that resist Judgment super effectively.

Set Details
========

* Pixie Plate is required to use Arceus-Fairy, and it also gives a 20% boost to Judgment.
* A Timid nature plus 192 EVs in Speed make Arceus-Fairy outspeed Jolly Mega Lucario.
* 252 EVs in HP and 64 EVs in Defense allow Arceus-Fairy to take physically offensive threats such as Rayquaza, and they also allow Arceus-Fairy to tank Mega Lucario's Bullet Punch at +2 and Mega Salamence's Double Edge at +1 after Stealth Rock damage.
* Full investment in Speed with a Timid nature can be run to allow Arceus-Fairy to Speed tie with fully invested unboosted Mega Salamence and Arceus-Normal.
* Calm Mind boosts its Special Attack and Special Defense stats, making investing in them unnecessary.

Usage Tips
========

* Arceus-Fairy can easily get setup opportunities on some common offensive Pokemon in the tier such as Choice Sacrf Lunala and Yveltal thanks to its high defenses.

* Try to avoid Toxic, as it ruins Arceus-Fairy's longevity; a solution to that is to switch in Arceus-Fairy on Will-O-Wisp.
* Try to weaken the opposing team and kill Steel- and Poison-types to make Arceus-Fairy a decent wincon.
* To keep Arceus-Fairy safe for checking threats, entry hazard control is a must-have, avoid status, and switch in on attacks that can't 2HKO Arceus-Fairy in order to be able to use Recover.
* Set up with Arceus-Fairy early in the game before the opposing Gengar Mega Evolves to keep Arceus-Fairy safe from it. Gengar can't switch safely into Earth Power and can't OHKO Arceus-Fairy at +1 with Sludge Wave, but if Gengar has already Mega Evolved, you should double switch into your Mega Gengar check.

Team Options
========

* Pokemon such as Primal Groudon and Bronzong can set Stealth Rock for Arceus-Fairy, making it more efficient for Arceus-Fairy to do its job.
* Shuckle can set up Sticky Web for Arceus-Fairy, while Arceus-Fairy can beat most Flying-type threats such as Rayquaza and Yveltal and can also pressure Giratina-O in return.
* Primal Groudon and Mega Lucario can beat most of Arceus-Fairy's checks as well as Primal Kyogre, Steel-, and Poison-types, which makes it easier for Arceus-Fairy to sweep.
* Primal Kyogre, Mega Salamence, and Rayquaza are good teammates that beat Arceus-Fairy's checks such as Ho-Oh and Primal Groudon.
* Giratina-O checks Primal Groudon, can use Defog, and profits from Arceus-Fairy's ability to beat down Dark-types such as Yveltal.
* With Arceus-Fairy being weak to Toxic and status, Steel-types and Mega Sableye backing it up is appreciated.
* Zygarde-C checks Ho-Oh, Mega Gengar, and most threats to Arceus-Fairy. It also can weaken the opposing team and has good synergy with Arceus-Fairy, as both can tank each other's weakness, and the Rest set can also come in on Toxic for Arceus-Fairy.

[SET]
name: Utility
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Recover
move 3: Judgment
move 4: Toxic / Earth Power
item: Pixie Plate
ability: Multitype
nature: Timid
evs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Stealth Rock provides entry hazards and is very good on Arceus-Fairy, as it's able to beat common hazard control with Fairy-type coverage and Toxic, and it makes free a team option.
* Recover allows Arceus-Fairy to maintain its HP, allowing Arceus-Fairy to come in many times and check offensive threats more effectively.
* Judgment is Arceus-Fairy's main way to deal damage, hitting Dragon- and Dark-types hard.
* Toxic is useful to threaten bulky Pokemon that Arceus-Fairy cannot beat with Judgment, such as Primal Groudon and other support Arceus formes, such as Arceus-Water and Arceus-Ground.
* Earth Power breaks Steel-types and Mega Gengar, which completely wall Arceus-Fairy otherwise.

Set Details
========

* 96 EVs coupled with a Timid nature make Arceus-Fairy reach 330 Speed, allowing it to outspeed base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Palkia and non-fully invested Mega Salamence and OKHO them with Judgment.
* The EVs in Defense and HP maximize Arceus-Fairy's physical bulk to check offensive threats.
* Pixie Plate is needed to use Arceus-Fairy, slightly boosting Judgment's power.
* Arceus-Fairy can run a bulkier EV spread of 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe and a Bold nature with enough Speed to outspeed neutral base 90s.

Usage Tips
========

* Set Stealth Rock against Pokemon that can't do much back to Arceus-Fairy, such as defensive Primal Groudon, Defog users like Giratina-O, and Arceus support formes that don't run Toxic.
* Arceus-Fairy can cripple its checks with Toxic, so be sure to beat all opponent's Steel-types before revealing it. Luring switch-ins such as Ho-Oh with Earth Power can also help to Toxic them. Arceus-Fairy can also use Toxic against Stealth Rock users such as defensive Primal Groudon.
* Earth Power should be used to take down checks such as Mega Gengar and Steel-types.
* Even with Earth Power and Toxic, Arceus-Fairy is still setup bait for bulky Steel-types such as Ferrothorn.
* Avoid being hit by Toxic to preserve Arceus-Fairy's longevity as well as paralysis, which cripples Arceus-Fairy's Speed tying potential, making it not able to check what it should.

Team Options
========

* Arceus-Fairy with Stealth Rock allows Primal Groudon to run an offensive set that can handle Steel-, Poison-, and Fire-types thanks to its coverage and good stats and typing.
* Zygarde-C teams up very well with Arceus-Fairy. Arceus-Fairy is able to switch on non-STAB Ice Beams and Dragon-type attacks, and Zygarde-C is able to hard check threats to Arceus-Fairy easily,such as Ho-Oh, Mega Gengar and Steel-types. Zygarde-C can also switch on status if it is the RestTalk variant and can act as Speed control if it packs Glare.
* Ho-Oh is also a decent teammate for Arceus-Fairy, being able to pressure the opposing team and beat down Steel-types such as Magearna and Ferrothorn while profiting from Arceus-Fairy's ability of checking threats such as Mega Salamence and Zygarde-C.
* Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Klefki can all set up Spikes,and Arceus-Fairy can pressure Defog users to keep the entry hazards up while also having very good synergy with them.
* Yveltal, Tyranitar,and Pursuit users such as Deoxys-A are options to bypass Mega Gengar.
* Primal Kyogre with Rest and Mega Sableye can act as status absorbers, the latter also being able to bounce hazards back.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Defog on the Stealth Rock support set can be used, as it can be a viable Defog user.
* An offensive 3 Attacks + Recover set with Judgment, Earth Power, and Stone Edge can be possible to break offense teams.
* Thunder can be used to hit Ho-Oh and Primal Kyogre.
* Iron Defense on the Calm Mind set allows Arceus-Fairy to set on physical threats and be a powerful and bulky setup sweeper.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Defensive Steel-types**: Defensive Steel-types are immune to Toxic, resist Arceus-Fairy's STAB Judgment, and are often neutral to Earth Power or bulky enough to take it.Ferrothorn, Klefki, and Skarmory can set up Spikes, and Magearna can steal Calm Mind boosts or threaten Arceus-Fairy with Flash Cannon and force the switch-out.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar can trap Arceus-Fairy thanks to Shadow Tag and deal a huge amount of damage with Sludge Wave or Taunt Calm Mind Arceus-Fairy and kill it with Destiny Bond.

**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh resists both of Arceus-Fairy's coverage moves and can hit it hard with its STAB moves and burn with Sacred Fire. Substitute variants can set up on Arceus-Fairy's Toxic if it's not running enough Speed. Arceus-Fairy's only answer to Ho-Oh is the rare Stone Edge.

**Offensive Steel-types**: Mega Lucario, Dialga, and Solgaleo can easily beat Arceus-Fairy with their STAB moves, but they get almost 2HKOed by Earth Power Mega Lucario can't switch in safely on Arceus-Fairy's Judgment, and the Adamant version gets outspeed by positive-natured Arceus-Fairy with 88 Speed EVs. Calm Mind Arceus-Fairy also beats Dialga if it doesn't run Roar.

**Primal Groudon**: Primal Groudon resists Arceus-Fairy's STAB moves and can deal huge amounts of damage to Arceus-Fairy. Primal Groudon can set up on Arceus-Fairy if it doesn't pack Earth Power, but Toxic still threatens Primal Groudon.

**Primal Kyogre**: Rest Primal Kyogre variants can absorb Toxic and are enough bulky to take Judgment, and they can also burn Arceus-Fairy with Scald and phaze Calm Mind Arceus-Fairy with Roar. Offensive variants almost 2HKO Arceus-Fairy with Origin Pulse and can set up on support Arceus-Fairy sets if it doesn't run Toxic. Calm Mind Arceus-Fairy can't beat opposing Calm Mind Primal Kyogre.

**Poison-types**: Toxapex can set up Toxic Spikes on the support Arceus-Fairy set and can cancel Calm Mind boosts. Arceus-Poison can hit hard with Judgement and steal boosts with Psych Up.

**Toxic Users**: Toxic cripples Arceus-Fairy and lessens its longevity, making it lose its ability to set up or constantly check physical offensive threats.

**Bulky Special Setup Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Xerneas, Primal Kyogre, and Lunala can boost their Special Attack and Special Defense stats and beat Arceus-Fairy, but they dislike Toxic.

Overview needs work and can be made more concise. You should focus on its good defensive qualities and (currently unique) access to Ground coverage for a Fairy which helps compensate for its STAB being walled by PDon/Gar/Steels somewhat. There is too much focus on Magearna comparisons - you can simply mention that other Fairies such as Klefki and Magearna may offer more utility/better typings to a team without the opportunity cost of using your Arceus slot for the Fairy. Remove the bit about being outclassed by Xerneas as a setup sweeper - the first listed set is CM (aka a setup sweeper) and Earth Power/Recover access helps differentiate it some.

Remove all Nihilego mentions since it was rejected by QC.

Calm Mind set needs a faster EV spread - use 252 HP / 64 Def / 192 Speed. This makes you faster than Mega Lucario which is absolutely mandatory for a sweeping set, and you still have ~81% chance to tank +2 Adamant BP from MLucario as well as +1 Max Atk Adamant Mence Dedge after SR (at full you always tank both these hits).

Team Options for Calm Mind can mention some more offensive teammates. Giratina-O is nice to check PDon and Defog and likes Fairyceus's ability to check Dark mons. POgre can help Fairyceus beat down PDon and pressure Ho-Oh. Mega Salamence is a solid teammate to switch into Ho-Oh and PDon, and Rayquaza also pressures Fire mons pretty well. Shuckle can also be mentioned with this set since it actually works well on Sticky Web teams as a Yveltal/Rayquaza/Mence check that Giratina-O can't Defog on.

Usage Tips for Calm Mind probably shouldn't mention bluffing support since you have it listed first. Usage Tips should have some tips on staying healthy for Mences + ways to avoid dying early to Gengar.

Stone Edge should get a moves mention for Ho-Oh.

Support set Speed should be increased to 96 for Timid Palkia. Usage tips for support is really barren and inaccurate in places (you lose to Ferrothorn even with Earth Power). When is a good time to set up SR? When is a good time to Toxic (since Steels coming in is a real possibility)? Why do I need to avoid paralysis? Stuff like that needs to be covered in a lot more detail.

Support set mostly fits on more stallish teams so I wouldn't bother mentioning Lucario as a partner. You could mention stuff like Ho-Oh, spikers like Ferrothorn, Zygarde-C should be emphasized more, etc.

OO can be trimmed to the following: 3 Atks + Recover, Defog, Thunder, Iron Defense on CM.

Ho-Oh and PDon should be split, Toxic/EP means PDon has trouble checking Fairyceus consistently. Ho-Oh should be listed higher on the C&C list.

MiyoKa You have been asking for feedback on Discord a bunch prior to Fireburn's feedback and now that you have it, the analysis hasn't been touched at all. 24 hours.

Suffers of the omnipresence of Ho-Oh, Steel-types and Mega Gengar in the actual metagame, makes it often prefered to other Arceus formes with a better typing
That makes no sense. How does that alone make it preferred over other Arceus forms, much less ones with so-called better typings?

other currents forms (waterceus, groundceus and darkceus) don't lose to it and can always be used as check for those (which are mostly staples in the current meta), water/ground/dark are definetely better for arceus-slot. And mb often isn't the right word for that, rarely fits better (that was what i meant)

Mention maximum speed for the CM set in set details. The sets, spreads, and OO mentions are solid. Won't nitpick anything else.
