PU Corsola (mini) QC: 3/2 GP:1/1

B6DF8014-EA66-4282-9FDA-2177D295374F.jpeg

[OVERVIEW]

Corsola's stats make it extremely passive, slow, and a momentum sink, and its defensive typing is also quite bad, since there are a lot of top threats such as Lilligant and Gurdurr that have a type advantage against it. It is outclassed by multiple Stealth Rock users, most notably Omastar, which shares a similar typing to Corsola, Regirock, and Clefairy, which all have better stats and are more threatening. The only redeeming quality that Corsola has is possessing two types of recovery in Recover and Regenerator.

[SET]
name: Stealth Rock
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Recover
move 3: Scald
move 4: Toxic
item: Leftovers
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

This set attempts to set up Stealth Rock and, if possible, status the opposing Pokemon it can check, such as Flying-types like Oricorio-G and Swanna, or switch out to take advantage of Regenerator. Unfortunately, Corsola doesn't really accomplish anything besides setting Stealth Rock and fainting. Omastar, Clefairy, and Regirock fulfill this role with a lot more success because of their better stats and, with the exception of Omastar, typing. Regirock is especially noteworthy because it fills the same role, checks very similar Pokemon, and generally has more to offer in a team slot.

am check bop, feel free to implement what u like and ignore what u don't :) (comments in bold)

[OVERVIEW]
Corsola's stats make it extremely passive, slow, and a momentum sink. Its defensive typing is also quite bad, since there are a lot of the top threats usually have a type advantage against it. I don't really like the way this is said, maybe something like "as a lot of prominent threats can take advantage of it due to its passive nature" also I'd put its passivity, the fact that it's a momentum sink and how many threats can take advantage of it in the same sentence. It is outclassed by basically any stealth rocker, most notably Omastar, who also sets up rocks, shares the same type, better stats, and is actually offensively threatening. Meh I don't really like the Omastar comparison since they usually don't run the same set, as Oma tends to run more offensive sets. Comparing it with Regirock isn't a bad idea, since they tend to check the same things (even if Corsola sucks at it)

[SET]
name: "Stealth Rocker" -> Stealth Rock
move 1: Recover Since u use it as ur rocker, Stealth Rock should go here
move 2: Scald I'd put Recover here
move 3: Stealth Rock Scald here
move 4: Toxic/ Ice Beam/ Calm Mind I'd remove the Ice Beam / Calm Mind slash here, they're generally suboptimal options
item: Leftovers
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
- This set attempts to set up rocks and if possible, set up or status the opposing Pokemon. I would just say that this set's goal is to set rocks up while checking threats like Kanga, but u lowkey get bopped by earthquake so idk
- This set shouldn't be used because it doesn't really do much besides setting rocks and dying. Omastar and Clefairy do this role much better because of their better stats or typing. Again, I'm not a fan of the examples and the way its said, as you should say something like "But this job is better done by..." or "Sadly, this set is outclassed by...". Also, remove the -

Corsola's stats make it extremely passive, slow, a momentum sink, and defensive typing is also quite bad, since there are a lot of the top threats (list a few) usually have a type advantage against it. It is outclassed by almost all stealth rockers, most notably Omastar who also sets up rocks, shares the same type, has better stats, and is more threatening. The only redeeming quatlity that Corsola has is multiple forms of recovery. (it only has 2 forms of recovery so reword this a bit)

This set attempts to set up rocks and if possible, status the opposing Pokemon it can check(also switching in and out to take hits and take advantage of regenerator), such as Unfortunately, (such as unfortunately?)Corsola doesn't really accomplish anything besides setting rocks and dying. Omastar, Clefairy, and Regirock fulfill (random space here)this role with a lot more success because of their better stats or typing. Regirock is especially notable because it fills the same role, check very similar Pokémon, and has a better stat distribution.(why is regirock the notable one here when omastar was the notable one in the intro)

The GP check wasn't properly implemented at all and the credits were not formatted correctly. I've fixed and uploaded, but please be careful about this stuff in the future SeelofApproval
