Comments:

This set is used to surprise your opponent. When they send out a physical wall, they'll be in shock when a special attack destroys their wall. The set is also used to counter some sweepers of equal or lower speed.

It may seem that Feraligatr can't use a special attack without Baton Pass support, but, it can. Hydro Pump is the STAB move of this set, hitting any threat hard for neutral or super effective damage. If the accuracy is too shaky for you, Surf can go in place. Focus Blast can hit Normal types that might try to wall Feraligatr, like Clefable and Steelix. Ice Beam is a nice attack used to get rid of Altaria and opposing slower grass types. The last slot is your choice for Hidden Power. HP Grass can take out bulky waters such as Quagsire and Slowbro, and it can also be used to rid of Rock and Ground types, if the occasion arises, of course. HP Electric can get rid of water types as well as flying types, and if it's a double battle, use it on a partner with Volt Absorb and Motor Drive to give them what they need.

The item is used to max out Feraligatr's special attack. With Choice Specs, Feraligatr reaches a special attack of 564, which is quite deadly. You can change the item for a Life Orb, in case you don't want to be left with Feraligatr locked into a Focus Blast while going up against Mismagius.

Other Options

Feraligatr has a nice special movepool that gets overshadowed by all of the physical sets it has. Ancientpower could be used against flying and fire types, but with only a 10% chance for a stat boost, it's a turn off. If you want power over accuracy, you can also use Blizzard in place of Ice Beam. Feraligatr can also learn Dragon Pulse, if you'd like a neutral damaging move when not against a dragon type. Hydro Cannon and Hyper Beam would be nice paired with a Power Herb, and even one use is all you could get. Icy Wind for support options, and Mud Slap for a support option as well, even though there's low power, lowering your foe's accuracy on their sweepers could be a plus. Surf is nice in place of Hydro Pump, and Whirpool for another support option.

Team Options

For this set, Feraligatr could appreciate some Baton Pass support as well as not needing it. If you can, get a Smeargle to pass off a Barrier and Iron Defense boost, giving Feraligatr the option to have some bulk. In that case, give Feraligatr the EV spread of 184 HP / 228 SpA / 96 Spe. Also, a team with Tailwind support isn't so dangerous. You should want Feraligatr to put up an awesome fight.

Counters

Anything faster and that can hit hard in the UU environment, even in OU. Sceptile can easily take it down with a Leaf Storm. Tangrowth's Power Whip can wipe it clean. Blissey can wall Feraligatr and paralyze it and switch out for another pokemon to take it out, or CMing Blissey can knock it out with a Thunderbolt. Dusknoir can definitely wall Feraligatr as well, and wipe it out with a couple of Thunderpunches.

Opinion

Feraligatr is not that bad of a pokemon. It's got amazing base stats (not like Deoxys amazing, more like a better Suicune amazing). If it had a higher speed stat and a higher SpA stat, it could arguably be in the OU environment as well as a mixed sweeper.

This is just to see if Feraligatr can really make it as a special sweeper. It could be a gimmick, or it could really work out. Give your opinion, and if there are any changes, put them in RED AND BOLD AND UNDERLINED.

My main criticism of this set is that you've basically got one surprise shot at taking down a special wall, and that will normally require connecting with a super-effective attack given Feraligatr's lacklustre special attack (specs boosts special attack by 1.5x, not 2x). And given you wouldn't bother switching in a physical wall that was weak to water then this whole premise is kinda shaky.
