Dream World Metagame?

The abilities granted in B/W's Dream World could absolutely be metagame changing. Speed Boost Blaziken, etc., could easily dominate the upper reaches of the OU tier whereas otherwise it would be stuck with a rather shitluster ability.

Do you think Smogon should set up a Dream World server to see what kind of metagame stems?

Quite easily no? Just make a regular server and swap the abilities for all 6xx (I never remember) Pokemon.

Sure, why not? Having a separate DW server like the CAP server could be pretty neat.

That seems a little on the "p lame" side though. Why not just separate the two and make everything available from the start? I'm not sure how DW mons coexist with regular mons or if they do at all (ie does it change when you go in/out of the DW?) If they don't in the game then it'd make more sense to separate them.

I think that it is a good idea, having options is always good.

Anybody is allowed to set up a server with whatever they want on Pokemon Lab. Dream World abilities, custom Pokemon, custom movesets, Digimon, whatever.
