Electivire

Base Stats
: 75 HP/125 Atk/67 Def/95 SpA/85 SpD/95 Spe
Abilities: Motor Drive/Vital Spirit(H)
Notable Moves:
-Tera Blast
-Cross Chop
-Trailblaze
-Focus Blast
-Volt Switch
-Brick Break
-Bulk Up
-Ice Punch
-Fire Punch
-Thunder Punch
-Rock Slide
-Psychic
-Flamethrower
-Thunderbolt
-Wild Charge
-Earthquake
-Knock Off
-Supercell Slam

Pros:
-With a newfound access to strong Electric STAB in Supercell Slam, Electivire is now finally able to make good on its 123 Attack and hit for devastating damage on neutral targets.
-A wide physical movepool gives Electivire plenty of options to take on threatening opponents, Ice Punch for Grass and Dragons, Knock Off for Gholdengo, Earthquake for Heatran and Skeledirge and Cross Chop for Ting-Lu and Kingambit.
-A decent 95 SpA allows Electivire to utilize it’s lesser special options like Psychic to bash Great Tusk, Flamethrower for Gholdengo and Rillaboom, Focus Blast for Heatran and STAB Volt Switch for momentum.
-Motor Drive allows Electivire to take advantage of predicted electric attacks and gain a +1 speed boost, giving it the jump on faster threats.
-Bulk Up can potentially allow Electivre to wreak havoc on slower teams

Cons:
-Though it’s newfound STAB is impressive, it’s inconsistency and causing the user to lose ½ of it’s HP when missed makes Supercell Slam a risky attack to click repeatedly.
-Despite the strength of moves like Cross Chop and Earthquake, most of Electivire’s physical movepool barely manages to break the 80BP barrier, meaning Electivire tends to miss crucial kills.
-Attempting to mix Electivire’s movepool with physical and special often lead it to having to split EV’s in offenses, leading to it’s already weak attacks becoming weaker
-Electivire is the cornerstone of the 4MMS, constantly having to pick a poison of lacking the correct coverage move for the situation. Combined with splitting EV’s in offenses and their general lack of power leads to Electivire constantly feeling underpowered vs mons it should theoretically hit for strong SE damage.
-A lack of meaningful resistances and terrible bulk leads to Electivire being a prime target of getting picked off by faster mons or priority.
-Even after a Motor Drive boost, Electivire is still outsped by many common scarf threats and can often have it’s sweeps be stopped cold.
-Strong competition from other fast physcial/mixed sweepers who offer either better move compression, stronger offenses, better speed or a combination of all three. Mons like Valiant and Greninja often find themselves better suited to teams thanks to having a stronger immediate offensive threat level with their high-powered STABS and ability to boost them much further than Electivire.

Tera Potential:
-Tera Electric boosts Supercell Slam to nuclear levels, allowing it to dent even resists for solid damage
-Tera Flying removes Electivre’s main weakness, while keeping its Electric immunity intact.
-Tera Fighting/Ground boosts Electivire’s strongest coverage while removing it’s Ground weakness.

Sets:
mfw first good stab in 17 years(Mixed Attacker)

Electivire @ Life Orb
Tera: Electric/Fighting
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Supercell Slam
- Focus Blast
- Volt Switch
- Knock Off

The standard mixed Electivire attacker set, this utilizes Electivire’s wide movepool to hit as many targets for SE damage as possible. Focus Blast smashes Kingambit and Garganacl while being it’s best overall move against Great Tusk, dealing upwards of 48% to max HP variants. Volt Switch maintains Electivire’s momentum while dealing respectable damage to frailer targets. Knock Off replaces the standard EQ as Supercell Slam and Focus Blast does enough to threats like Heatran and Toxapex, while Knock can smash Air Balloon Gholdengo and Skeledirge. Ice Punch can be used over Knock if threats like the two mentioned above are handled by teammates, giving it it’s strongest option against Gliscor and Lando-T.

Pair this guy up with Gyarados for a nasty offensive Core. Electivire completely destroys the Electric-types like Zapdos that limit Gyarados's potential, while Gyarados does quite well into various ground-types like Landorus-T and Great Tusk that are annoying for Electivire.

In all seriousness, Bulk Up and Knock Off are really good buffs for this Pokemon. Sadly, I fear this might be a little too late.

That's the OG GyaraVire core from Gen 4 lol

It should also be mentioned that a previously big frustration factor of Electivire's (its speed tier), has been remedied here with the inclusion of Trailblaze in its movepool. You could honestly run an entirely physical set that would keep Electivire's EVs from being stretched out too gratingly.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Supercell Slam
- Ice Punch
- Knock Off
- Trailblaze

This set is better equipped to handle physical priority thanks to not having to run a -Def nature, Supercell Slam + Ice Punch + Knock is great coverage, Tera Dark to boost Knock and block priority + bait Psycho Boost Deo-S, and more. Trailblaze is a phenomenal move for it.

I was thinking maybe you could also get away with Bulk Up + Trailblaze to do a "Double Dance" set of sorts. Some mons can pull this off in lower tiers, like the Tauros forms, though I'm not sure if E-Vire has enough bulk to ideally set up.

Ofc in general, E-Vire is probably going to drop to the lower tiers. It was unviable (even in ZU) last gen but maybe it'll have a better fate?

Yes it seems like he has been given enough to at worst be in Nu with actual physical stab that hits hard, terra to punch up it's coverage power, boosting moves in trail blaze and bulk up ect.

Honestly this set hits everything in a tier. Electric + Ice + Dark coverage is really good
