Pending Have Flash Fire visibly change the base power of fire moves if activated

Did this calc with flash fire activated:
252 SpA Flash Fire Heatran Magma Storm vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 246-289 (60.8 - 71.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery and trapping damage

Did this calc with magma storms base power as 150:
252 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 246-289 (60.8 - 71.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery and trapping damage

They're identical so can flash fire visibly multiple the the base power of fire moves by 1.5x ?
(like how type boosting items do)
 
eems like a similar issue to this (partially) approved suggestion so unless there's a semantic difference I'd be down for this
Cool. This suggestion can just follow whatever happens with that one. Tho there is the fact that (according to Bulbapedia) in gen 3 alone, flash fire actually does directly boost fire type moves and not the attack stat during that turn. So it might be worth it to implement my suggestion exactly into gen 3. But for the other gen, whatever is already planned from that thread should be fine
