IceTime VS karma-killer [OU Warstory]

I hope its the right place to post this. =D

Well so this is kinda my first warstory, not many of my matches were cool enough to be warstory fodder, but this match was pretty sweet, I believe we both played to the best of our ability, so I present to you…

Battle in the Sand [OU Warstory]

Leftovers will be omitted from the match when you first see them.
Sandstorm damage will be omitted from the match
Poison damage will NOT be omitted from the match
Sandstorm will be on for the duration of the match.

karma-killer's Team will be kept in suspense for all you suspense lovers. =P

Rules: Ladder Match, Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Evasion Clause, Species Clause, Strict Damage Clause
karma-killer sent out Tyranitar (lvl 100 Tyranitar ?).
IceTime sent out Heatran (lvl 100 Heatran ?).
Tyranitar's Sand Stream whipped up a sandstorm!
A sandstorm brewed!

VS

Tyranitar-100%
Heatran -100%

Well, he started off with Tyranitar. Oftentimes matches that start with TTar, I go in all guns firing, Earth Powering, coz honestly, not many of my members can take an Earthquake well, bar Vaporeon, which is just forcing him into a switch. But this time, I decide to play a little more conservative, mostly due to the opponent having about 100 higher rating than me, and send in Scizor first. I've been scraping 1408-1419 for some time now, and I don't intend to fall to 1390+ anytime soon.

karma-killer switched in Shuckle (lvl 100 Shuckle ?).
IceTime switched in Scizor (lvl 100 Scizor ?).
The sandstorm rages.
---

VS

Scizor -100%
Shuckle-100%

He brings in a Shuckle, great. Look at that withdrawn turtle, it's cute in a weird sort of way. The situation is in my advantage, since Scizor deals loads with a CBed Bullet Punch, so I take no chances so early in the match. Shuckle is a total bitch to face, and I want to at least get him out of the way.

karma-killer switched in Gliscor (lvl 100 Gliscor ?).
Scizor used Bullet Punch.
Gliscor lost 35% of its health.
The sandstorm rages.
Gliscor's Leftovers restored its health a little!
Gliscor restored 6% of his health
---
Gliscor's leftovers will be omitted here on out.
VS

Scizor -100%
Gliscor- 71%

He brings in his Gliscor, I guess that’s his definition of a Scizor counter. I didn’t realise that Gliscor will be killed off with 2 more Bullet Punches, and I went headfirst with Vaporeon. I guess Scizor won’t be hurt much then, which is good.

IceTime switched in Vaporeon (lvl 100 Vaporeon ?).
Gliscor used Earthquake.
Vaporeon lost 25% of its health.
The sandstorm rages.
Vaporeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Vaporeon restored 6% of its health
---
Vaporeon's leftovers will be omitted here on out.
VS

Vaporeon - 75%
Gliscor - 77%

Vaporeon sponges EQ perfectly, but I still feel I should’ve stayed in. Bleah, sometimes my hands work faster than my brain. I can stay here and tank hits all day, so I figure he’s going to bring something in to get rid of Vaporeon, or just to take the predicted Ice Beam. I wish to scout for his moves. (second frame Vappy is cutest thing in the world)

karma-killer switched in Starmie (lvl 100 Starmie).
Vaporeon used Wish.
Vaporeon made a wish!
The sandstorm rages.
---
VS

Vaporeon - 75% (Wish)

Starmie -100%

Ooh, Starmie, I’ve been in a weird Wish/HP Electric Stall war with another Starmie before, so I know for sure Wish will heal off the incoming Thunderbolt damage, bar Specs. I need to dent Starmie first, so I go with HP Electric.

Starmie used Thunderbolt.
It's super effective!
Vaporeon lost 36% of its health.
Vaporeon used Hidden Power.
It's super effective!
Starmie lost 48% of its health.
The wish came true!
Vaporeon restored 50% of its health.
The sandstorm rages.
---
VS

Vaporeon -100%
Starmie - 46%

I was right, Vaporeon takes the thunderbolt like a charm. Hidden Power actually does more damage, which is surprising. It leads me to believe this is one of the more tankish versions, or is my gut feeling wrong? Anyway, I have something to perfectly take the incoming Thunderbolt…

IceTime switched in Jolteon (lvl 100 Jolteon ?).
Starmie used Thunderbolt.
The sandstorm rages.
---
VS

Jolteon -100%

Starmie - 46%

Right on, Jolteon would be expected to deal a thunderbolt. There are a few who can take the hit perfectly, I think Gliscor won’t come in just like that because of the threat of HP Ice. (I have HP Grass. =D) I Signal Beam the switch to Tyranitar, and would probably scrape the KO if he doesn’t switch anyway.

karma-killer switched in Tyranitar (lvl 100 Tyranitar ?).
Tyranitar's Sand Stream whipped up a sandstorm!
Jolteon used Signal Beam.
It's super effective!
Tyranitar lost 42% of its health.

Tyranitar's leftovers restored its health a little!
Tyranitar restored 6% of its health
---
Tyranitar's leftovers will be omitted here on out
VS

Jolteon - 94%
Tyranitar - 64%

Yeah, my Jolteon doesn’t have Baton Pass. I was trying an all attacking set at the time, lucky coz I dented TTar, despite the Sandstorm and the Timid Nature, which was way cool. TTar tempts me to switch again to Scizor, I have a nagging feeling he’s going to switch TTar out though.

karma-killer switched in Shuckle (lvl 100 Shuckle ?).
IceTime switched in Scizor (lvl 100 Scizor ?).
The sandstorm rages.
---

VS

Scizor -100%
Shuckle-100%

Woah, the same situation as the start of the match. Scizor can fire off Bullet Punches, but I don’t think he’s going to bring Gliscor in again after seeing the damage caused the other time, but I wonder what he’s going to bring in next. He probably switched in Shuckle because he thought I was going to continue Signal Beaming, heck, I go ahead with Bullet Punch and see what he brings in.

karma-killer switched in Dusknoir (lvl 100 Dusknoir ?).
Dusknoir is exerting its pressure!
Scizor used Bullet Punch.
Dusknoir lost 45% of its health.

Dusknoir's leftovers will be omitted here on out.

VS

Scizor -100%
Dusknoir - 55%

Dusknoir! Interesting that Dusknoir would be in a Sandstorm Team. Dusknoir actually takes a lot from my CB hit, for someone with Base 135 Defenses. I’m guessing he would go for Fire Punch or Will-o-Wisp now since Scizor is a real deterrent to Shuckle, hopefully I can predict correctly…

IceTime switched in Heatran (lvl 100 Heatran ?).

Dusknoir restored 27% of its health.
Heatran lost 25% of its health.

Ooh, he outpredicted me. Pain Split actually restores Dusknoir’s health so I’m getting nowhere, I decide to go ahead with a Flamethrower, hopefully I can hit something on the switch in…

I stay in, since I don’t know what to expect from Shuckle at this point in time. He goes for Knock Off! Obviously predicting Scizor’s switch in. I stay in the Flamethrower, since Shuckle obviously isn’t going anywhere soon.

Sweet, Shuckle has been pressed into sleep. I think he’s going to switch, since Shuckle just like that is deadweight on the team for now. Hopefully I can predict his switch-in, but I make the switch to Scizor anyways.

Infernape takes the stage, and Lucario goes out in a blaze of glory, punching Infernape as hard as he can, before clutching his heart, the Life Orb sapping the last of his life away. Nice match, karma-killer, GG.

Pros:
- Great Prediction, especially Lucario landing the hit on Heatran.
- Amazing usage of Shuckle.
- Rhyperior for clinching the kill on Gliscor
- Vaporeon for sponging hits throughout the whole match, including Focus Punch from TTar.
- Karma-killer, for not giving up throughout the whole match, and for not complaining despite the hax. Plus points too for being such an amazing battler.

Lows:
- I had to edit this personally because I was an idiot and did not notice the existence of War Machine until I added all my comments in Word. And me clicking the back button accidentally the moment I finished this which ruined my awesome formatting and I had to redo it to look normal since it was late and I wanted to sleep.
- Stupid Crits! The match would’ve been longer and it would’ve been better if I didn’t land the two crits.
- Infernape didn’t do jack.
- Shuckle for being gay in SandStorm.
- Boah for giving me a heart attack
- My sucky pokemon HP indicators that are not reliable. (please tell me if you spot any mistake in the pokemon's HP below the pictures as I may have made some errors)

And finally, karma-killer's team:

It wasn't too bad, though the predictions were slightly lacking tbh. Can't help but think the game would have been easier for you if you were carrying some sort of Fighting resist :s Ground resist would have be nice too.

There's not much point to not revealing your opponents team when you list 4 of his Pokemon w/ leftovers beforehand. I enjoyed the warstory, and I liked some of the prediction, specifically how you wore down Lucario and how you used Signal Beam on Starmie to ensure a KO if he didn't switch but nail Ttar hard if he did.

Ah, those sand veil misses were pretty badly timed, but good prediction and a good match overall. Excellent warstory.

Don't keep us in "suspense" if you list 2/3 of his team anyways.
Other than that, I though this was a decent warstory with good prediction and all that.

Instead of listing his Pokes w/ Leftovers in the intro, you might want to show Lefties recovery the first time it occurs, then take it out for the rest of the battle. Good warstory, though.

I liked the battle, only thing that's a bit weird is that on your first 2 pictures, your opponents poke is first, and that changes the other way around in the rest of the match. Sorry to be a nitpicker or if it has some reason. The big DEAD was pretty funny at the start, but after 3 times it wasn't that funny anymore. But anyway, I liked the battle, and that's the most important.
