Hey this thread is for me to say Lady Salamence is now a mod - congrats!!! yay!!! Hype! she's gonna carry the community!

Also Clouds is currently carrying out operation get discord going again, the plan is for us all the move into the survivor discord and have our own little area to exist, it will be nice to not be living in the last games graveyard imo.

well yeah but i was thinking about for specifically the maf side of things do they track our stuff? if so, sure then

tbh idk why dead chats werent just set up in the circus server but ig it's easy to create/delete new servers? there is not really a mafia "community" specifically for circus, hence the discord inactivity. or maybe there is but it's in a secret server with all the banned people i dunno

4:11 PM]Clouds: Merging it with smogoff [or even cong but to a lesser extent] feels like it doesn't make much sense considering how different the forum purposes are, some kinda revival would be be more realistic imo

this quote was like two years ago. the problem with a mafia forum is that you can play mafia more frequently and of a higher quality elsewhere which kind of defeats the purpose of smogon mafia. smorgon kind of is circus then but it's also a strictly discord based community with no need of a forum

it would be interesting to merge circus with cong. or maybe smogoff is a better bet. it seemed like that was happening in the discord last year but then didn't.

We had a pretty lowkey idea to have a social forum discord including Circ/mafia and smogoff last year I wasn’t able to mobilize on my own with my free time, but if people are interested in that now let’s do it
