Larvesta shines as a pivot in the current metagame due to serving as a check to both Grookey and Fighting-types, which is made easier by its ability to spread burns with Flame Body and Will-O-Wisp. Flare Blitz is a hard-hitting STAB move, while U-turn lets Larvesta pivot against counters such as Staryu and Mareanie and bring in teammates to force progress. Morning Sun provides Larvesta much needed recovery, since it is getting worn down from Flare Blitz recoil and taking hits. Larvesta's physical bulk is maximized by this EV spread, and it hits 16 Speed, letting it outspeed foes such as Koffing and non-Choice Scarf Mudbray. However, Larvesta's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock limits its ability as a defensive pivot, so it appreciates being paired with entry hazard control such as Staryu and Natu. A Grass-type such as Ferroseed, Foongus, or Grookey help check opposing Water-types. Larvesta also forms a VoltTurn core with Mienfoo and benefits from it wearing down shared checks such as Mareanie and Frillish with Knock Off. Psychic-types appreciate Larvesta taking on Steel-types and safely bringing them onto the field with U-turn.

Larvesta finds a place in the metagame thanks to its useful resistances to common Pokémon such as Grookey or Mienfoo, as well as the utility of spreading burns and pivoting to bring threatening teammates on the field.(Reword this sentence to include the role compression part from the 2nd sentence. Things to include: Grookey + Fighting-type check, pivot, and burn spreader.) This sets aims at using all these capabilities in an effective way, so Larvesta's physical bulk is maximized by the EV Spread. Here, Larvesta also sports a solid 16 Speed tier, notably outspeeding Berry Juice Magnemite, Eviolite Mudbray and Adamant Pawniard, as well as tying with Jolly Pawniard. U-turn is a really hard hitting move that guarantees huge chip on most opponents since it's STABbed, and it allows Larvesta to bring in teammates safely. Flare Blitz is another really hard hitting STAB, although Larvesta should be wary not to abuse it too much due torecoil damage. Morning Sun brings Larvesta much needed recovery to help it fare better in its job and to fish for Flame Body burns. (Condense this down, since this is just discussing STAB moves and overly wordy (have like 2-3 sentences max on this part). Things to include: U-turn lets it pivot against switch-ins, Morning Sun makes checking foes and spreading burns with Will-O-Wisp and Flame Body easier, and some foes the EV spread lets it outspeed, like Porygon and Koffing.)

However, Larvesta is well known for its double-weakness to Stealth Rock, meaning that it is limited as a pivot and Fighting-type check. It is also extremely pressured by a common presence in Staryu, meaning it has to use U-turn often if it wants to make progress. As such, Larvesta could find itself worn down quickly and is overreliant on Morning Sun's low PP healing. It is also further limited by occasional coverage options from Pokémon it is supposed to check such as Acrobatics Swords Dance Grookey. As such, top teammates for Larvesta include Staryu as one of the only consistent hazard removal options in the tier and a strong offensive presence benefitting from the momentum Larvesta brings by using U-turn. Natu is also a good teammate as it can deny opposing Entry Hazards easily thanks to Magic Bounce. However, Larvesta's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock limits its ability as a defensive pivot, so it appreciates being paired with entry hazard control such as Staryu and Natu.(This entire section can be condensed down to one sentence.) A Grass-type such as Ferroseed, Foongus or Grookey is also interesting as they can check opposing Staryu.(make this Water-types in general) Larvesta also works well with Mienfoo as a VoltTurn core due to Mienfoo's ability to threaten common Stealth Rock users such as Ferroseed and Pawniard.(Larvesta does well against these foes tho. If anything, you should be discussing how Mienfoo wears down shared checks like Mareanie and Frillish.) All in all, on the one hand, Larvesta is outclassed as a Fire-type burn spreader by the faster Ponyta, as a Fighting-check by the prevalent Koffing, and as a pivot by the excellent Mienfoo, but on the other hand, only Larvesta can fit all three roles at once, bringing specific compositions much valued role compression nonetheless!(This is honestly too negative. The part you should be focusing on is the role compression, which should be in the overview sentence.)
- I would mention Psychic-types that appreciate Larvesta pressuring Steel-types

Ping me on disc when you implemented these changes so I can give the 1/1. Right now, this is a bit wordy for a preview so stuff needs to be trimmed down.

EDIT: Discussed changes over Discord. QC 1/1

Implemented as said on Discord since a little while but I thought I'd refresh the alert.

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw on the message above that I had QC 1/1. Ready for GP!

Larvesta shines as a pivot in the current metagame due to compiling the roles of Grookey-check and Fighting-check, especially since Flame Body punishes them hard and generally makes spreading burns easier. Flare Blitz is a really hard-hitting STAB, while U-turn lets Larvesta pivot out of counters such as Staryu or Mareanie to bring in teammates that further force progress. Morning Sun brings Larvesta much needed sustenance, due to Flare Blitz‘s recoil and having to take hits to be most effective. Larvesta's physcial bulk is maximized by the EV spread used, while it hits 16 Speed, letting it outspeed foes such as Koffing and non-scarved non-scarfed Mudbray. However, Larvesta's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock limits its ability as a defensive pivot, so it appreciates being paired with entry hazard control such as Staryu and Natu. A Grass-type such as Ferroseed, Foongus or Grookey is also interesting viable as they can check opposing Water-types. Larvesta also works well with Mienfoo as a VoltTurn core due to Mienfoo's ability to further help wearing down shared checks such as Mareanie and Frillish thanks to Knock Off. Psychic-type Pokémon Pokemon appreciate Larvesta being able to take on Steel-types and to bring them safely on the field, especially since they are chipped more easily and they are more passive when burned.
