Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Gyro Ball
- Zen Headbutt

Bronzong can take ground attacks for Heatran and is also neutral to fighting and water, so it's an ideal teammate. Since it has stealth rock, it can free up heatran to be more offensive or for it to have a toxic + protect stalling set. Bronzong is a decent check to Landorus since it can switch into Earth Power and 2hko it.

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Bronzong: 133-156 (39.3 - 46.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Bronzong Gyro Ball (131 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Landorus: 141-166 (44.2 - 52%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Last move is filler, screens/eq/other random move like trick room can also be used.

There was a tie with 3 votes for Skarmory and 3 votes for Bronzong, so I decided to go with pick and we got...

[21:24] #nv²: !pick Skarmory, Bronzong
We randomly picked: Skarmory

So congratulations goes to Trichotomy

This week, I decided to use a new type and go with a really powerful Pokemon (with over 90% usage within this type)

Submissions end on Friday.

Medicham-Mega @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- High Jump Kick
- Psycho Cut / Ice Punch
- Bullet Punch

With keldeo being a special powerhouse for the majority of fighting teams, it only makes sense to pair it with a powerhouse on the physical side. A mon like meg medi fits that role perfectly. Pure power gives it insane power which make the duo arguably one of the strongest wall breaking cores in the tier.

Psycho cut helps with things like venusaur if you are lacking a hawlucha but Ice punch is also a good option to punch big holes in dragon teams.

Heracross @ Heracronite
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant or Jolly Nature
- Pin Missile
- Close Combat
- Rock Blast
- Swords Dance / Bullet Seed

Although it isn't seen much on Fighting Monotype recently, Mega Heracross is a fantastic offensive partner for Keldeo, mostly because it performs well against bulky Psychics, some Flying-types (with Rock Blast), and special walls for Keldeo. For example, beating Slowbro, Zapdos, and Stallbreaker Mew is a big deal for Keldeo. In return, Keldeo beats Gliscor, Lando-T, Skarmory, and a few other faster Pokemon that Heracross doesn't like dealing with. Mega Heracross sets itself apart from the other Megas because of its overlooked wallbreaking ability and pretty decent Speed tier; Pokemon at higher base Speeds tend to only speed creep base 70 Pokemon like Bisharp and Breloom, while Mega Heracross sits at base 75.

The set is simple; Pin Missile beats up the annoying, recently more common Psychic-types in the tier. Close Combat is another good STAB, and Rock Blast lets Heracross beat Zapdos and slower Togekiss variants, among other things. Swords Dance helps Heracross put lots of pressure on slower, bulkier teams and punishes Flying Monotypes that try to wall it with non-Brave Bird Skarmory. However, since it is paired up with Keldeo, you can also use Bullet Seed to hit Azumarill and Gastrodon, which can decently wall Keldeo. You can also use Jolly if you really want to make sure that you outspeed Mew, as some may actually run a lot of Speed. Works well if you have Swords Dance too.
