SS OU My team has a lot of trouble w Toxapex. I'm considering replacing Hydreigon, but not sure what with. Any suggestions?

One thing I would say, take it a little easy with the choice items
maybe give Cinderace a life orb so that he isn't locked into a move, changing with libero using his wide movepool is kind of his thing

i might give that a shot. cinderace accumulates a lot of chip damage in my matches though (through hazards and the occasional resisted switchin), so band's been alright

I don't think u should replace hydreigon but instead change fire blast w nasty plot. Nasty plot boosted earth power ohkos pex and replace choice specs w life orb so u get more fire power. And w life orb, replace dark pulse w roost for recovery and longevity.draco and earh r all the coverage hydreigon needs in this team where cinderace could handle corvi for it and excadrill or magearna could handle clef or other fairies except the opposing magearna which could not swith in to hydreigon.

Oh and replace choice band w heavy duty boots bcoz u won't be able to use cinderace consistently wo those as cinder already deals enough damge even wo band. Hope this helps

Hey I like your team but I think to help with your toxapex problem you could use heavy duty boots on your cinderace to help with keeping if alive for longer as well as maybe replacing your hydreigon with dual screens tapu koko as it well help with your weakness and your magearna will benefit greatly from it or an alternative could be screens on regieleki you have azumarill to break already so you don’t need the hydreigon theoretically

hdb has been really good on cinderace. nasty plot was better on hydreigon, but i ended up replacing it with toxic stall salazzle, which gives me better matchups against clefable, pex, rillaboom, mandibuzz, and some other mons. i also replaced excadrill with claydol, cause levitate is real useful and claydol has good bulk+rapid spin+ice beam for lando. it also has a better matchup against heatran. gave cinderace court change over zen headbutt to give salazzle better odds

now i'm considering replacing magearna lmao. not sure though, cause some games magearna is completely useless, other games it's a free win
