Well, it's funny how things started well, but then started to turn very very bad...sigh.

Oh well, unless if everyone else had a crap week as well, looks like I'll not be #1. It was fun while it lasted :D

Edit: Looks like 10-6 for me...meh >.>

What a beast. 12-4 for the week. That brings my total to 60-38. Looking pretty good!

I feel your pain, I was sitting at like 9-1 around half time during the first batch of games...which turned into 6-4 when the second wave started...which ended with 4 more wins and 2 losses on predictions >.>

WEEK TWELVE MATCHUPS ARE POSTED

Well well, Week 11 was certainly unexpected. The entire field of players achieved .500 or above, and only two failed to reach double digit wins. That being said, there was some shifting at the top. 10-6, which would have been an excellent week toward the beginning of the season, was enough to drop Shinryu out of first place, allowing Somebody to jump in and become our third different leader in the last 3 weeks (and the 4th all season). Somebody clings to a slim 1 game lead though, as there is an increasing bunch of contestants within striking distance of his throne. The top 9 players are only separated by 3 games, so the last five weeks will be crucial time for everyone. Most impressive in Week 11 was Slyguy46, who obliterated the competition with a 15-1 marking. His only mistake was the Oakland-Pittsburgh game, as he foolishly chose the lowly Raiders to defeat the indestructible and ridiculously awesome Steelers. Also posting solid marks were Bungalow Bill and tad38, whose 14-2 record was a nice change from their prior averages. Bungalow Bill's good week was actually enough to pull him into the front 9, holding up the caboose of that crowded top tier. Echo slid a bit more down the charts despite his 11-5 mark this week, and Lakers fell even more with a less-than-impressive 8-8. These two will need to get back on top of their game if they want to get back into relevance before season's end. I'm pretty sure I'm the only participant who literally did not move, posting a 12-4 mark but remaining in 8th place. Oh well, there's always next week! Interestingly enough, the longest active streak of >.500 weeks belongs to WaterBomb at 4. If you would include exact .500 weeks, danmantincan would take that streak at 7.

People are starting to get into their grooves now, so any mistakes in the remaining weeks will be devastating to whomever makes them. Will we see more people challenge the top spot? Will Somebody be able to maintain his lead longer than one week? Will we have a week where EVERYONE gets double digit wins? Will I move? Find out on the next exciting episode of PredictionBall Z!

New England at Detroit - :(
New Orleans at Dallas - This could get interesting, but Dallas is a dome soooo.
Cincinnati at New York Jets - I want the Jets to get exposed here, but the Bungles losing makes me happy too :D.
Minnesota at Washington - New coach won't make Favre any better.
Carolina at Cleveland - After a string of close losses, Cleveland FINALLY gets an easy opponent.
Tennessee at Houston - Who is their QB gonna be anyway?
Jacksonville at New York Giants - Sorry Jax, not gonna get lucky this week.
Pittsburgh at Buffaro - Thanks for whooping the Bengals.
Green Bay at Atlanta - Toughest game I've picked all season. Going against Atlanta's amazing home field advantage.
Kansas City at Seattle - This could get ugly, slight edge to Seattle at home. They will lose though -_-.
Miami at Oakland - Only time you will ever see me pick Oakland. Figpen just can't do it.
St. Louis at Denver - Mile High is more difficult to play in than people think.
Tampa Bay at Baltimore - Upset pick of the week, plus I need TB to win. Of course this means they won't, but still...
Philadelphia at Chicago - I don't buy Chicago. At all.
San Diego at Indianapolis - Have to pick Indy at home, despite Chargers' hot streak.
San Francisco at Arizona - Can I, like, not pick either of these teams?

Don't worry WB, I'll talk to the Bucs and make sure they'll win. And home field advantage for ATL is why I picked them, cause I think they're a bit overrated without it.

And yeah, can the San Fran - Ari game just not exist?

Well, after last week, if I don't perform well here I will just look silly.

Well, this week is a pain to predict. For the Thanksgiving Games, Patriots should destroy Detroit without much effort. Even though its a Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Game, I have to go with the Saints as they are the better team. My Jets at home vs. a plummeting Cincy - make that 8 straight Cincy, and hopefully without me losing all my fingernails. Washington should destroy the Vikings, but with a new Head Coach anything is possible. Cleveland is the more complete team than Carolina, so they get my vote of confidence. Houston should be able to beat an injured Tennessee, especially with the Titans starting a rookie, third-string QB; then again, I seem to remember another sixth round rookie taking advantage of a injured starter to become a superstar (good luck kid).

While last week this might seem like an odd pick, I like Jacksonville over the Giants, because not only are Jacksonville looking pretty good, but the Giants just lost their no. 1 receiver for a few weeks. I was indeed foolish to pick against the mighty Steelers, and as funny as picking Buffalo to win a third week in a row might be, I just can't do it. Atlanta vs Green Bay would be a hard choice ... if it was at Lambeau Field, but the Falcons are unstoppable at home. KC vs. Seattle is a tough pick, but I think KC is a much better team, even if they're playing at Seattle.

As unhappy as I am at Oakland right now, I can't pick the Dolphin's when they're being so stupid - only 13 rushing attempts when both your QB's are injured? Denver vs. St. Louis is tough - I kinda wanna pick the Rams, especially with Denver having a short week. Might change that pick later. Baltimore is just all around unstoppable, Tampa Bay is still not convincing me they're good enough for a pick over the Ravens. The Philadelphia Michael Vick's vs. the Bears is tough - I love how the Bears are doing this season, buy I can't pick against Philly right now. San Diego is unstoppable in November and December, and the stats will prove it - against a Indianapolis that isn't nearly as good as previous years, I'm going with the Super Chargers. Finally, I pick Arizona over San Francisco, but either team could lose this.

Bleh, still hanging out in the bottom of the pack...

New England at Detroit Derp.
New Orleans at Dallas Double derp.
Cincinnati at New York Jets This should be close, but LT could potentially blow it wide open.
Minnesota at Washington This matchup makes me sick.
Carolina at Cleveland <bangs head against wall repeatedly> (Facepalming wasn't expressive enough.)
Tennessee at Houston Sure, they suck, but at least their QB position is secure.
Jacksonville at New York Giants I'm sold.
Pittsburgh at Buffalo "Roethlisberger to Wallace" is the theme for this one.
Green Bay at Atlanta Rodgers should torch the growing Falcons secondary.
Kansas City at Seattle 12th man? Pfft. Seattle's gonna need the entire country of India to stop the Chiefs, and I don't think even that will be enough.
Miami at Oakland Never thought I'd say this, but "da Raidaaaaaahhhhs" (apologies to Chris Berman) are actually looking legit. They should net a wild-card spot at least.
St. Louis at Denver St. Louis sucks. Denver sucks worse. You do the math.
Tampa Bay at Baltimore The Ravens should finally bring another championship to Baltimore. Meanwhile, Rob Irsay rolls over in his grave.
Philadelphia at Chicago The Eagles should walk out of Soldier Field with a big--sorry in advance--Vick-tory. (Told you it would be bad.)
San Diego at Indianapolis Peyton's place hasn't been kind recently, but it is a home game, after all.
San Francisco at Arizona Screw you, Goodell.

Picking the Raiders over Pitt? C'mon man.
