PinkCaptainFalcon VS NyxNocturne (Ref: Wyverii)

Sorry about that Wyverii.

alright SAM get ready for some attrition warfare from this turtwig. Float up a bit and set your sites on that Substitute.
but first use Disable on Sheldon's nasty Bite attack
Then hit the sub with Night Shade
and break it with Venom Shock

If he tries to Swords Dance again, use Haze as your next action after he does it! (by skipping out on using Venom Shock)

Alright Sheldon, here's whats going to happen! Start of the match with a Leech Seed! Follow up that with a powerful Seed Bomb and finish up with another Substitute!(20hp).

Leech Seed>Seed Bomb>Substitute

Round 8, fight!

Reeling from the nasty bite and not keen on getting a repeat preformance Sam stares into Sheldon's eyes and Disables his knowledge of how to use Bite. Head hurting slightly from the fumes and having his mind forcefully altered Sheldon produces some seeds from his head and back and sprays them at Sam, coating him in life sapping vines and helping purify the air a little which eases Sheldon's headache.

With Sheldon backing up behind his sub again Sam darts forward, vines and all, and lashes out at the sub with tendrils of mental energy formed from within his body. Though inanimate objects can't hallucinate the imaginary attack causes the sub to wither drastically. Glad for the protection Sheldon pops out of cover to fire a Seed Bomb at Sam, causing small explosions around his small form as vines tighten and sap even more life from their host.

Sam, not feeling so cheerful anymore after being infested with plant matter and shrapnel uses his hate as energy and unleashes a hugely powerful Venoshock towards Sheldon. Thankfully the sub absorbs the poison rain but not without decomposing in the process. Sheldon feeling exposed sets to work on another Substitute.

Round 9, fight!

Finished growing a new sub Sheldon starts sharpening his leaves up again, hoping to get an attack off before Sam can remove it. Sam however has no intentions of waiting for him to finish and completely obliterates Sheldon's new sub with another Venoshock melting it into a pile of useless goo.

Panicking at being exposed Sheldon immediately sets to bring his defenses back up while Sam blows more black smoke into his face, withering his leaves, reversing the effects of his dance and making him cough as he brings forth a weaker version of his sub.

Seemingly locking everything Sheldon does down Sam finishes up with another nightmare inducing Night Shade, which gives the current sub a bit of trouble. Sheldon dives out and fires more seeds at Sam, renewing the vines and tightening around him making him look distinctly uncomfortable. Sheldon the crawls back behind the sub, panting and looking quite ill from so much Substitution abuse and the fumes in the air.

Round 10, fight!

As soon as Sheldon manages to get back behind the sub Sam seems to have had enough as he rushes forward aggressively, intent on breaking the Turtwig. Playtime is now over. First thing he does is finally get rid of that pesky sub while Sheldon takes a breather behind it then blows dangourously poisonous rain into Sheldons face. Having not actually experienced what it was like directly Sheldon had quite a 'shock' at how agonising it was. With nothing left to do and nowhere left to hide Sheldon in a frenzy suddenly remembers his biting technique and leaps up to clamp his jaws on the Gastly.

Sam can't shake him off and instead of wasting more time trying to remove the turtle instead drills a point blank venoshock into him. Sheldon's body goes limp as he succumbs to the deadly poisons but his jaws remain firmly clamped to Sam's form hanging there in midair. Sam floats around in circles panicking for a while until Nyx does him the service of calling back Sheldon into his Pokéball for a rest.

Round 11, fight!

Nyx releases Unicron onto the stage, his most fearsome Pokémon yet. Sam starts off by trying to cripple and burn his opponent with mystical blue flames as soon as Unicron gets out of his ball but winds blow the flames slightly off course and they land harmlessly next to the rock rhino. Unicron snorts while pawing the ground then rushes forward with the power of a dragon roaring straight into Sam and knocking his light form backwards.

Sam then bides his time, watching Unicron's next move intently. Unicron is happy to oblige and using his tough horn digs into the ground and heaves a large rock at Sam, reeling back from the blow Sam barely has time to recover before he's hit twice. Nor pleased with that attack with armed with the knowledge of it Sam uses an old trick and stares into Unicron's eyes mesmerising him and making him forget how to perform his last attack. Not quite as intelligent as his turtle friend Unicron forgets easily.

Sam, tired out then decides to chill out a bit in the air, getting a bit of a breather. Not that he'll be able to breath freely for long when Unicron lifts out some remenants of the rock beneath him and showers them over Sam entombing him and making is surroundings rather cramped. Sam struggles weakly out of the rocks, phazing through them but having trouble doing so.

He'll be so close and in our face that we shouldn't be able to miss. If we do, hit him with Poison Jab then!

Round 12, fight!

Sam starts off with a new technique, using psychic powers he lifts Unicron up off the ground and stops him from moving. This proves effective with his mostly up close and personal moves. However it's extremely taxing holding such a heavy Pokémon up and only Sam's natural talent with Telekinesis stops him from dropping the rhino. Unicron in response closes his eyes to protect himself from what's coming next.

Sam tries to hynotize Unicron to no effect, without eye contact he can't pull it off. Unicron then struggles in the air, trying to bite the ghost with his firey fangs but he can't reach him from so far away and can't maneouver in the air either.

Sam then tiredly floats up to his foe and envelops him in his toxic gas. The toxins invade into Unicron's porus and rocky skin and starts spreading around his body. Struggling some more Unicron opens his eyes and with the toxins starting to pour out of his horn in an attempt to purge them from his body strikes Sam hard with it. Sam, weak and tired falls to the floor defeated and Unicron falls with him, landing with a heavy crash on the floor.

Round 13, fight!

Pink releases his Staryu to the field. Unicron immediately winces recognising one of his mortal enemies, a water type. Nyx urges him to go out fighting and Unicron is only happy to oblige shifting his weight back then suddenly forward as he builds momentum for a charge. Soryu being an intellgent (and brave) creature prepares for the incoming hit by spreading its pointed limbs and conjuring a psychic Barrier. Shortly after Unicron crashes into it horn first causing Soryu to slide backwards quite a distance. The barrier then wraps itself around the starfish granting additional protection for as long as it lasts.

As the dust from the charge settles a bit Soryu tries to get behind and above his opponent while gesturing and appealing to the heavens for rain which is granted in a refreshing shower from some passing clouds. Unicron being a heavy and stocky creature you wouldn't think he was very maneouverable however the speed of these sort of creatures can be surprising and he twists to follow Soryu and before he can get too high then lifts both feet up and slams them down, bringing Soryu hard to the ground.

Soryu not wanting to be pinned and crushed blasts boiling water from the tips of his points into Unicron's face causing his rocky skin to degenerate rapidly and painfully. Steam still flowing from Unicron's wound he roars and using his intense knowledge of the earth and all forms of rock slams himself down in almighty Earthquake. Much more powerful than the ones caused before the whole arena shakes causing chairs and light fittings to collapse and fall. Soryu's protection softens the blow before fading away.

Round 14, fight!

Since putting up a protective field helped so much last time Soryu tries it out again, just in time to see Unicron pushing his head deep into the concrete and flipping chunks of rock at him. The rocks smack into him once, twice and three times! Sapping his strength as he keeps the field up against the onslaught then lets it wrap around him again to help keep him safe from further physical harm.

Putting up more of an offensive posture this time around Soryu then brings the top three points together, chilling the air around the tips, and pushing air out between them rapidly while feeding energy into it. The beam of icy energy slams into Unicron getting into the cracks of his skin and irratating him horribly. Feeling the toxins within his system ramping up and knowing the end is near Unicron goes out with a bang, lifting himself up as high and he can and slamming down with precision onto the floor, letting off a final Earthquake that causes utter destruction within the stadium and causing nearly everything to collapse or fall over. At this point every Pokémon not fleeing or flying away is now doing so.

The rain is starting the let up, but before that happens Soryu decides to make good use of it and bracing himself firmly on the floor fires off more heated water at the same spot as last time causing extraordinary damage to Unicron's face. No longer able to take the punishment Unicron wobbles and collapses, just wishing for a good mud bath before sinking into unconsiousness.

PinkCaptianFalcon wins the match!

Despite it ending up between a water type and a rock/ground type the match ended up being pretty damn close in the end. Staryu as you can see had a sizable chunk of hp knocked off even with a +2 def boost to help out, mind you he'd have KOed Rhyhorn much quicker if he attacked instead so it balances out. Good job guys!

Highlights of the match have to be Surskit's crazy ice cage stunt and Machop's Ic- FALCON PAAAAAAWNCH. The cage would have worked if earthquake wasn't being thrown around but props to a creative use of water and ice in a mostly dry enviroment. The timing of that Ice Punch couldn't have been better, first actual punch thrown all day and it turns out to be a crit hahaha, oh wow.

Here are your winnings:
PinkCaptianFalcon gets 2 TC
Machop gets: 1EC, 1MC, 1DC and 1KO token.
Gastly gets: 1EC, 1MC, 1DC and 1KO token.
Staryu gets: 1EC, 1MC, 1DC and 1KO token.

Nyxnocturne gets 2 TC
Surskit gets: 1EC, 1MC and 1DC token.
Turtwig gets: 1EC, 1MC, 1DC and 1KO token.
Rhyhorn gets: 1EC, 1MC, 1DC and 1KO token.
