Copy-pasting the OP from Nails RU thread. Credits to him for original idea.
Now that the last official BW UU tournament is over, lets all share our awesome ideas we've been hoarding for months and years. Because if you hold out now you're a jerk.
Descriptions are encouraged, but not required. But if it requires some explanation or key information, pls include it. Teammates you used it with are excellent. 2-3 sentences should be enough, so don't feel pressured to write a lot unless you want to.
I don't know if this thread will be popular here since I've noticed the UU subforum is less active than the RU/NU one but I think it deserves its spot nonetheless.
I'll just highlight all the SPL players so they hopefully feel like contributing here!

I'll start with a few ideas of mine I came up with for the BW UU Tournament hosted by LS/Grand Slam helping/SPL helping.
Blastoise (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 112 HP / 252 SAtk / 144 Spd
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam / Blizzard
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic / Hidden Power [Fire] / Focus Blast
Offensive Blastoise is a beast. Ever since I "came up" with this idea when I was helping Bloo in his GS teambuilding, I have never looked back at the support set. Maybe someone came up with it first but I don't remember seeing it in a competitive environnement so please don't get mad at me for posting it!
Anyway, I got the idea to run Offensive Blastoise when I noticed that Cofagrigus was the main "spinblocker" of this super hazard-centric metagame. Max Special Attack Hydro Pump absolutly nukes it if it decides to switch-in on Blastoise, as demonstrated by these calcs:
252+ SpA Blastoise Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Cofagrigus: 156-184 (48.9 - 57.6%) -- 55.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Blastoise Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Cofagrigus: 156-184 (48.9 - 57.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
Ice Beam/Blizzard (if used in Hail) deals a lot to Roserade/Zapdos/Shaymin obviously. The last move is up to preference/team needs. Toxik is good to catch up something on the switch like Abomasnow/Walrein/Slowbro/other Blastoise. Focus Blast hits Walrein/Abomasnow/Ferroseed/Empoleon. Hidden Power Fire nukes Abomasnow/Ferroseed. The Speed EVs allows it to outrun most Nidoqueen.

Ferroseed (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
The main difference between this Ferroseed and the other one I've seen being used in UU is that it actually has both Spikes and Stealth Rock in its moveset. It's really useful when you want both in your team but can't afford running two Pokemon with hazard support.
Ferroseed also serves as a good check to some really dangerous and common threats such as Sharpedo.
---
Snorlax (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 248 SDef / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Protect
Protect Snorlax is without a single doubt my favorite Snorlax in BW UU. Protect is just so useful to scout the move of most choice users that like to switch on it (Heracross, Mienshao, etc). It also helps to get more recovery out of Leftovers.
Other than that, the set is as standard as it gets. It's a good pseudo-special wall for balanced/offensive team. Pursuit support is appreciated to pick off weakened threats.
---
Roserade @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leaf Storm
- Sleep Powder
- Sludge Bomb
- Stun Spore
Standard LO Roserade with a twist: Stun Spore on the slot usually reserved for T-Spikes/Synthesis/Rest. I really like how it can catch off guard people who think they can freely switch their Crobat or just get their Victini/Darmanitan on the predicted hazard set-up (even tho I guess you could just Sludge Bomb in that situation).
---
Nidoking (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam/Blizzard
- Focus Blast
Credits to koko for that one. Sub Nidoking is absolutly terrific. It forces a lot of switchs thanks to its natural offensive presence so it's not really hard to get a Sub. Once behind it, you can use whatever you want to wreck havoc. Of course, you could say that you don't really need it if you predict perfectly, but it can still serve its purpose by getting a free Sub against someone who would switch a weakened Pokémon to sack it for example.
