SM OU Recycle Muk Stall 1700 peak, needs improvements

Hey smogon, Ive been using this team to get a better understanding of how stall works and it actually peaked pretty high. Its standard Sableye stall with Alolan Muk as the Tapu Lele counter. It walls most of the meta and counters can be overcome with some smart pivoting.

New Meta (Muk-Alola) @ Figy Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Curse
- Fire Punch
- Poison Fang
- Recycle

This here is what makes the team different from the standard Sableye stall team. It compresses many roles and counters a lot of threats. Stall has been begging for counters to Hoopa-U and Lele for a long time now and this is it. Poison Fang lets it Badly Poison common switchins such as Landorus as well as being able to poison Magic Guard users 50% of the time. Fire Punch allows it to damage the steel switchins, Mawile, Ferrothorn, Scizor, Celesteela. Curse removes its passiveness and makes it very threatening after a few boost. Recycle gives it much needed reliable recovery as long as it doesnt get Knocked Off.

Pink guy (Quagsire) (M) @ Waterium Z
Ability: Unaware
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Waterfall
- Amnesia
- Curse
- Recover

Next is Quagsire, I copied this set from bandisndatnme's rmt I chose this specific set because its honestly better than the standard and makes battles last earlier. You will have a lot of opportunities to setup and sweep once you remove your opponents grass types and bulky water resist. This is also the only reliable switch-in to Charizard X available to the team.

Joe (Sableye-Mega) (M) @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect
- Knock Off
- Recover

The lead and our mega. Max investment on special defenses allow you to pp stall Heatran's Magma Storm effectively, scout if Heatran has Lefties or a Z Move before switching in Quagsire. Otherwise just spam Will-o-wisp if your opponent doesnt have Heatran. Without much defense investment Medicham could dent him with a terrain boosted thunderpunch so just pivot between Quag and Sableye.

chansey.gif

Boarders of mexico (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic

The teams special wall. This counters so many things its unreal, just switch this in on any special attacker which you think doesnt carry Knock Off and setup your Stealth Rocks and Poison anything that cant 2hko it. This is prone to being used as setup bait so if a Blacephalon is switched in then you know its either ChoiceTrick or SubCm and you cant really tell your best switch-in would be Sableye. Max defense guarantees you will survive a Z-Freezeshock from neutral attack Kyurem-B after Stealth Rock damage so just spam Softboiled.

clefable.gif

Stored Power (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

This is our second Unaware user, something you can fall back on if Quagsire took too much damage. Wish and Heal Bell help support the team just dont waste HealBells pp too much vs opposing stall teams. Wish+Protect gives it reliable Recovery. While Muk-A handles Hoopa-U's physical set, the NastyPlot FightingniumZ set poses a threat to him so but Clefable can wall that set.

skarmory.gif

Birb (Skarmory) (M) @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Defog
- Spikes
- Taunt

This is our Hazard Controller which is handy if theres ToxicSpikes out and you cant switch Muk just defog it away with this. Spikes gives us more hazards to damage the opponent with, Taunt stops Ferrothorn and Chansey from thinking they can setup alongside you and stops Deffoggers from getting rid of your hazards

Weaknesses
Togekiss- NastyPlot+Heal Bell, you simply cant do anything against this one
Manaphy- Rest+Tailglow, same with Togekiss
