ORAS OU Roar like a thunderdog!

This is a continuation of my original Rising from the something. I forget the last part. Anyways, the reason for the profanity is due to this team being theoretically good, but so much happens to it that it barely works. Let me clarify: when it works, it works like a charm. But, when it doesn't, it fizzes out, dies, and then cries in a corner. Ik that not every team is gonna work, but this is just aggravating. So, I need your help on this one.



Manectric-Mega (M) @ Manectite

Same shit at the last one except I put Overheat. I did this to give me more of an offensive edge, opposed to the flamethrower's base power. Overheat does kill my momentum when it misses, but it hits like a motherfucker. That's not even exaggerating, it hits REALLY hard. Tbolt and volt are both pretty self-explanatory, as they're STAB and provide an exit route, respectively. HP ice for when he's stuck with a dragon or ground type.

Ability: Intimidate

I used him not only to give me a Voltturnturn core(you'll see what I mean later), but also to have a hazards setter. To be honest, he was a last minute choice, where I was like "oh, i need hazards. Most of these haven't worked, so let's use him" and he worked for a little while. EQ is STAB, Stealth Rock for hazards, Stone Edge for...some reason. It's a good secondary move? Idk, it was a Smogon set, so I said sure, why not. U-Turn for a Voltturnturn.

Talonflame (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

I previously had a MAJOR problem with Mega Lopunny. He used to sweep my team with ease, even WITH Manectric megaed. So, this is the solution: revenge killer talonflame. This MF is just.....my gosh. I don't even know where to start. BB just wrecks, being a STAB and getting that priority. FB is another STAB, U turn completes the Voltturnturn(get it now?). Steel wing is....an eh. I saw it suggested, and thought of fairies. So, I said why not and put it on. Haven't used it, yet tho.

Well, what would this team be without Weavile? He works VERY well with Manectric, as he cleans up those ground types that slip through Keldeo, and give me that Dragon/Flying sweep that my team has a weakness for. This is a basic All out Attacking Weavile, so almost everything is self-explanatory. Knock-off, Ice shard, and icicle crash give me the STAB and respective covers(Item check, Priority). I chose Brick break as I felt that works better, but I'm recently seeing Low Kick to be the better option. (Do you know how many times Weavile has been outsped by a Weavile with the EXACT same set with Low kick? It's SO frickin annoying)

Yeah... this one hasn't left. And idk why the fuck not. I've even TRIED to exclude him, but he just always comes back.

Azumarill (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe

This one....came on accident, and worked on accident. I had previously used Keldeo, and then subbed him for Azu for aqua jet. I thought of me needing that priority move, and azu instantly came to mind. I might just invest 252 in speed also, but idk. This is your standard BD set, so BD sets him up, Sitrus berry heals him up whenever. AJ is a monster when BDed or not, and knock off is for when I'm feeling risky.

If you're wondering why not a choice set, it's because of Azu's att change. With a band, it hits the max of 826, I think. With a BD, it hits 1226. Do the math and let me know which one is better.



Excadrill (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Lastly, this little number. A scared excadrill that can spin out hazards. Hazards is always a problem everyone faces, and I needed a solid fairy fire electric flying remover. So, here he is. EQ for STAB, IH for STAB and flinch, RS for hazard removal that lets me have my hazards, and RS for flinch and coverage. With a scarf, he outspeeds M-Lopunny. 0.0


So, that's my team in a heartshell. I need hep, so please help me out. Anything is appreciated. Doesn't mean I'll use it, but it's still appreciated. <3

There is no real threat, that I can see. Let me know if you can see that, too.

Other than M-alakazam and stuff that's faster than my entire team, of course

Update:

Recently saw a set that used M-Manectric and SF Feraligator. So, I decided to use it, and after a while, swapped out Lando for chansey.(Liked lando over chanse, but both did good)
