[OVERVIEW]

Spinda's atrocious base 60 stats across the board and bland Normal-typing mean that no matter what it tries to do, it will always be outdone by another Normal-type Pokemon such as Ursaring or Audino.

[SET COMMENTS]
This set is the only feasible way Spinda can even hope to sweep: by setting up Trick Room and then gaining boosts using Superpower. However, Spinda's base 60 Attack and Defense mean that it is not very strong or bulky, leaving it easily revenge killed by Mach Punch from Gurdurr or Hitmonchan. Musharna and Alolan Exeggutor are better Trick Room setters because they have better stats all around and better typings in general; Ursaring is a better Trick Room attacker because of its much higher Attack stat; and Lurantis and Servine are far better Contrary users thanks to their better offensive stats, access to STAB Leaf Storm, actual bulk, and utility with Defog and Synthesis.

Spinda is an extraordinarily pathetic Pokemon in competitive play.(that's p much every mon with a pseudo analysis, remove) Its atrocious base 60 stats across the board and its bland Normal-typing mean that no matter what it tries to do, it will always be done better by another Normal-type Pokemon. (such as?)It only has one set to separate it from other Normal-type Pokemon: a Trick Room set with Superpower in conjunction with its ability Contrary. However, it's lack of power and bulk mean that it will be hopelessly outclassed by other Normal-type Trick Room abusers such as Ursaring and other Contrary users such as Lurantis and Servine. Even in Trick Room, it will succumb to Mach Punch from the common Gurdurr and Hitmonchan.

This set is the only thesable way Spinda can even hope to sweep: by setting up Trick Room and then gaining boosts using Superpower, but Spinda's Base 60 Attack and Defense mean that Spinda hits as hard as a teddy bear (no.)and it has the bulk of one too, leaving it easily revenge killed by Mach Punch from Gurdurr or Hitmonchan. Musharna and Alolan Exeggutor are better Trick Room setters because they are bulkier and have stronger defensive types,(morseo they have better stats all around and better types in general) Ursaring and even Gumshoos (unranked, dont mention)are better Trick Room attackers because of their much stronger Attack stats, and Lurantis and Servine are far better Contrary abusers thanks to better offensive stats, a STAB move they can use with their abilities, and actual bulk and utility with Defog and Synthesis.
