Telepathy Wobbuffet(And Other Such Cases)

I'm just curious if, given the fact that Wobbuffet was sentenced to Uber mainly for Shadow Tag, he could have a banned Ability rather than be banned entirely.

IMO this lines up with the logic of banning OHKO moves rather than Pokemon that use them.

Well it is circumstantial, but you could use wobbs to force things like rock polish sweepers who can not OHKO him out.

Edit : Oh, and you don't need shadow tag to revenge things stuck on outrage.

If Wobuffet didn't have Shadow Tag, why would you use him.

Nothing pops to mind immediately besides something rather silly like a surprise sweeper counter/locked attack revenge killer, but that only goes to show how only Shadow Tag serves a real problem and I'm sure there are other Pokes to which this would apply.

The whole point of Wobbuffet is Shadow Tag. Anything not locked into Outrage(/Petal Dance now that it has 120 base power too if anybody decides to use it :/) can just switch out wasting Wobbuffets turn.

Without Shadow Tag, Wobbuffet is basically just a useless blob that can use Encore and Tickle.
