Ummm... before you say this is bad gimmick, mind hearing my story?
So when I wrote my first BSS RMT, Solerme thankfully stopped by and left a good rate, recommending me WP Aegislash in place of SD Aegislash I had. But I still had some issues dealing with Mega Salamence because despite my team had Tapu Bulu, Grassy Terrain doesn't last forever and Adamant Salamence would KO Aegislash with +1 Earthquake. So I tried doing different things, and the set below deals with most threats I was concerned with.
Pretty much this set is a staple on my team if my team struggles with threats like Garchomp, Mega Salamence, and Excadrill. With right predictions, this set can switch in for free. Also although it is worn down easier than Leftover sets when facing teams with Tapu Lele or others, I usually find better matchups against aforementioned threats worth it.
I dropped Flash Cannon and chose HP Ice because specifically for my team, Fairy-types were pretty dead weigh (considering how I have Heatran and other Pokemon around). Anyways, I don't know if this set is better titled "AB Aegislash" or "HP Ice Aegislash", but yeah, this is probably the second-most Aegislash set for me aside from WP.
252+ SpA Aegislash-Blade Hidden Power Ice vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Garchomp: 192-228 (104.3 - 123.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Aegislash-Blade Hidden Power Ice vs. 140 HP / 8 SpD Salamence: 204-240 (108.5 - 127.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Excadrill: 118-139 (63.7 - 75.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Atk Aegislash-Blade Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Excadrill: 49-58 (26.4 - 31.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
(According to my experience most Sand Rush Excadrill variants are Life Orb or Z-crystal. Any prior damage dealt will let Aegislash pick off the revenge kill easily)
