Hi! I run these now. Same procedure: all tournaments will be hosted in the Ubers room on Pokemon Showdown.

If I can't make it for whatever reason, Level 56 or SparksBlade will be my back-ups.

General Information:

• Slight change to the tournament cycle: instead of ORAS / BW2 / ORAS / ORAS / DPP, it's now ORAS / BW2 / ORAS / DPP / ORAS.
• I'm continuing where The Outrage left off. We're still in the same 25 week cycle.
• Like before, I'm hosting two tournaments to ensure that as many timezones can join in as possible (as I very well know...)
• I'll try and host both tours on the same day. Appropriate notice will be given if this is not possible.
• I'll update the title with what week it is and what generation we'll be playing.

Tournament information:

• You can play in both tournaments, but only your best performance will count.
• 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 3 points, and 3rd place gets 1 point.
• After the 25 week cycle has run its course the top 8 players will compete in a single elimination tournament.
• The winners of a particular week will be honoured in the thread title until the next week's tournament ends (and so on).
• Scouting is allowed for ORAS and BW2, but banned for DPP. Scouting is a fact of life, and counterteaming is certainly possible (although you'd be nuts to have less than one team).

The problem with keeping Trout's times are that our timezones are quite different, so I would have to either stay up inordinately late or wake up ridiculously early.

Weekend Tour Standings

How to read the standings
(1) means that they got that placing in the first weekend tour, and (2) means they got that placing in the second weekend tour.

Some weeks may lack certain placings. For instance, 3 (1) may be missing. In this instance, this is because the person who placed third in the first weekend tour decided to have another go in the second tour and placed better in that tournament (which overrides their first, inferior placing).

Hi.

I'm going to address two things that are really beginning to grate on me.

• Joining tournaments without teams for the tournament's generation
  Despite all we do to curb this silly behaviour, people still do not get the message. If it's a BW2 tournament, make sure you have a BW2 team before joining it. The same goes for DPP and ORAS tournaments. It isn't hard. Type /roomintro and get one of the sample teams, accessible from the Sample Teams button, if you are desperate. We crack down hard on this in the Ubers room, and we'll keep doing so until you get the message.

• Joining tournaments then leaving the room
  This is REALLY annoying. For the love of God, if you're going to join a tournament then at least stay in the fucking room. That way you can actually participate in the tournament you joined. I know we have autodq timers, but you're not worth waiting the autodq timeframe for if you just join the tournament and leave. I am going to start cracking down on this from the next tournament (i.e. the one that will be held in 11 hours). All it does is inflate the participant count, make things take longer than they should, annoy opponents and annoy me. Don't do it.

By the way, this applies for both Weekend Tours and normal room tours. These behaviours are incredibly annoying regardless of the scale of the tournament.

I changed the times to see if moving the tours a little bit closer to Outrage's old times will boost the rather depressing amount of players that come and grace the first tour of each weekend.

Please, for the love of God, stay in the Ubers room after joining the tournament. Leaving the server or, even more annoyingly, leaving the room, just means you become needless clutter and hold the tournament up. Don't do it. I will implement some form of longer-lasting punishment if this continues because it is an inconvenience to both myself and the other players.

This is especially annoying when we are playing older metagames (DPP and BW2). Please make sure you bring teams for these, too. There is no excuse for joining without a team when they are EASILY available from the room intro. I have already made a post about this and am annoyed that I must post about it again.

Edit: If you're in the third place playoff, could you humour me and actually play out the battle? At least publicly announce that you're going to concede instead of just going off without me or your opponent knowing that you plan on leaving. It's not good enough. Please take these at least a little bit seriously. That one point could be the difference between a top 8 spot and perpetual mediocrity.

Administrative Decision
Normally, Melee Mewtwo would get points for coming second in this week's Tournament Two.

However, a precedent was set with the voiding of Konzern's points. This precedent is that users cannot claim points if they come first, second or third while they are banned from Smogon. Konzern was banned from Smogon when he came third in one of the Weekend Tournaments some weeks ago, so I voided his points.

Melee Mewtwo is permabanned.

Hence, Melee Mewtwo's points are voided and the second place points will not be redistributed. HaxED claims his five points, and krauersaut claims his one point. The user who would have played Melee Mewtwo in the semifinal, 21dwe, did not return after being automatically disqualified (which is an unfortunate caveat of using automatic moderation). If he had returned, I would have disqualified Melee Mewtwo and made 21dwe play HaxED for finals, allowing krauersaut to take third by default.

I did not catch wind of the fact that 'OhFirebum' was, in fact, Melee Mewtwo on an alternate account until it was far too late.
