Thanks to its nearly unmatched firepower and access to every coverage move it needs Zacian-C is the most commonly seen Pokemon in the tier. Protect is one of the commonly used options to fill in the flexible fourth moveslot. Although the move itself may sound questionable, it comes in handy when attempting to scout faster Pokemon like Ditto and Choice Scarf users like Darmanitan-G or Rotom-H.

Even with three attacking moves, Zacian-C can perform well with the limited number of Pokemon with high stats available in the tier. This secures Zacian-C its place in places like sand teams that can wear down and status checks with Tyranitar and take down bulky Pokemon with Swords Dance Excadrill. Special attackers like Eternatus and Hatterene are decent partners in most teams that help against Corviknight and Quagsire. Note that aforementioned defensive Pokemon can be used alongside Zacian-C to keep the opposing Ditto in check, which is easily done thanks to the scouting through Protect.

Ditto is also a Choice Scarf user) and Choice Scarf users like Darmanitan-G or Galarian Darmanitan and Rotom-H.
