Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Interesting way to say "always hit by the stronger version of Knock Off instead of just once". Better make that item really worth it if you use Sticky Hold.
Whereas Flapple is the offensive Applin evo and Appletun is the defensive Applin evo, Dipplin is the doubles Applin evo. It's as simple as...
Nope. You do lose your crippling double-weakness, sure, but Rock doesn't resist Ice, never has.
I'm really glad Torterra got Shell Smash, but I'm afraid it might become another Blastoise situation - that one special asked-for ingredient turning out not to be enough for the beastly turtle soup...
I see your Steel Beam and raise you TM183 Super Fang. While it's never gonna KO... Let's be honest, is Steel Beam? With base SpA equal to Metapod's? Heck, Steel Beam kills Iceslash even if the opponent Protects or it misses. I think Super Fang is more likely to be a useful sacrificial move and...
DISCLAIMER: I do not claim the following chart would make the game better than it currently is. Not even that it would make it more balanced, though that's certainly the intention behind it. This is a thought experiment that I'd love to add your thoughts to as well.
I welcome any and...
So... I guess this isn't an option? I can't even find any tool on the Internet for finding Pokémon with various combinations of Max Moves, I thought the Showdown Teambuilder would be perfect for that...
In teambuilder, you can type in "Ember" instead of a Pokémon name in order to search for every Pokémon with Ember. However, type in a name of a Max Move and you get nothing. Sure, no Pokémon actually has Max Flare in their movepool, but some way of searching for Max Move combinations would come...
Currently, Showdown waits until after the HP is restored by an item to verify the Berserk boost, which is not how it should work.
BUG STATUS: FIXED by Karthik99999
In order to actually gain something from Triple Axel's possible misses, I've equipped Blunder Policy onto my Hitmontop. However, all Showdown said is that "the move hit 1 time" - it doesn't seem to count any "missing" into the equation.
BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, this is exactly how it behaves on...
My main game is Shield. I jumped into my Sword game just to check if I can get some of the exclusives without needing to rely on low-catch-rate stamps.
Then I caught two Gigantmax Kingler and they're both perfect 5IV ones (no SpA), one with and one without the Hidden Ability. I am meant to use...
It would seem like Battle Spot Doubles just ignore Gigantamaxes and Dynamax happens every time instead. Seems like a big problem that needs to be fixed.
^Sounds like people just use "Give" and "Use" randomly and expect it to work either way. The apples are like evolutionary stones, you don't give them to Pokémon to hold.
Wait, what? Just reset for the purple beam, then save the game, enter the Raid, check Ability, reset if not a Hidden Ability, change date while inviting online, check again, rinse repeat. One Wishing Piece required.
Just use Silvally. For everything. It handles everything.
As a Hidden Hunter myself, here's what I do:
1. seek out HA-possible spawns of the right Pokémon here. Not every den with the Pokémon can spawn a HA Pokémon of that species.
2. spawn the right beam with a Wishing Piece at the right den...
