Counter that RU Pokemon!!

lol ninja'd

countering hitmonlee:

Musharna @ Leftovers
252 HP/252 SpAtk/4 Def
Modest / Synchronize

Thunder Wave
Calm Mind
Hidden Power Fighting
Stored Power

Crawdaunt @ Life Orb
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Ability: Adaptability
Jolly Nature
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Crunch
-Substitute

Gets up a sub on the Twave/Calm Mind, gets a DD as it breaks the sub, and proceeds to easily OHKO with Crunch (it might even OHKO without a DD, I didn't bother doing calcs)

Edit: It is an easy OHKO

Torterra @ Leftovers
Impish Nature | 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
- Roar
- Synthesis
- Seed Bomb
- Earthquake / Stealth Rock

All of the main counters were already taken, but I guess Torterror could counter it with its base 105 Def. Can Roar it out or KO it with Seed Bomb.

You can use the same Pokemon that have already been posted. Just don't use a Pokemon if it's already been used on the same page.

anyways

Accelgor @ Life Orb
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
-Bug Buzz
-Focus Miss
-Hidden Power [Rock]
-Giga Drain

Takes nothing from Torterra's offensive moves and KOs back with Bug Buzz

You forgot to mention accelgor awesome 40 base defense stat and torterra toilet SpD ... but who knows

Swellow @ Flame Orb
Adamant
252 Atk/252 Spe/ 4 HP

- Brave Bird
- Protect
- U-Turn
- Facade

You don't even need a guts boost. Brave Bird STAB on accelgor means dead

Haha, maybe not the best counter out there.

anyways

Rhydon @ Eviolite
252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Rock Blast / Stone Edge
-Roar

Takes nothing from Facade / BB and minimal damage from U-turn. Easily OHKOs with Rock-type STAB of choice

Slowking @ Leftovers
248 HP / 144 Def / 116 SpD
Calm / Regenerator
-Scald
-Dragon Tail
-Slack Off
-Thunder Wave

Can Scald and possibly KO Rhydon. Also if it uses Roar Slowking gets a free Scald as well as having Regenerator take effect.

Sceptile @ Choice Specs
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Leaf Storm
-Focus Miss
-Hidden Power (Rock)
-Giga Drain

Tears Slowking apart with Leaf Storm, and Slowking can't damage it back (if it even survives Leaf Storm)

Cresselia @ Leftovers
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Psyshock
- Ice Beam
- Moonlight
- Calm Mind

Standard 252/4 Cress takes 2 Leaf storms in a row (first one 52,93% - 62,39% and 26,58% - 31,31%. Max damage is 93,7%) and can Moonlight and proceed to set up on Sceptile with Calm Mind to take it down with Ice Beam.

Drapion @ Leftovers
252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
- Crunch
- Whirlwind
- Toxic Spikes
- Taunt

Comes in on every move, Taunts it and proceeds to set up Toxic Spikes. You can always Whirlwind it out if it tries to kill you.

Aggron @ Choice Band
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Ice Punch

Resists Toxic Spikes and Crunch; forces Drapion to switch out.

Steelix @ Lefties
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
-Roar
-SR
-gyro ball
-Earthquake

Yeah, yeah, go ahead. Smash me. Slam me. Even shake the ground under my feet (tail, w/e)(but who the hell uses EQ with aggron? he's there to SMASH). I dont care, i will set up rocks on your face and destroy you.

Steelix @ Lefties
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
-Roar
-SR
-gyro ball
-Earthquake

Don't mean to be nit picky but if that Aggron predicts your switch in you lose(assuming roar is frowned upon). As the EQ does 39% - 46.3%, unless it low rolls 3 times your dead and Aggron has roughly 5-20% left. Here it is battle log wise:

BeachBum sent out Scrafty!
bored sent out Aggron!

Start of turn 1
BeachBum called Scrafty back!
BeachBum sent out Steelix!

Aggron used Earthquake!
It's super effective!
The foe's Steelix lost 40% of its health!

The foe's Steelix restored a little HP using its Leftovers!

Start of turn 2
Aggron used Earthquake!
It's super effective!
The foe's Steelix lost 42% of its health!

The foe's Steelix used Earthquake!
It's super effective!
Aggron lost 252 HP! (89% of its health)

The foe's Steelix restored a little HP using its Leftovers!

Start of turn 3
Aggron used Earthquake!
It's super effective!
The foe's Steelix lost 28% of its health!
The foe's Steelix fainted!

But then again if roar/whirlwind are allowed then that changes things. Any ways to counter Steelix I choose:

Dusknoir (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Taunt
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp

Can taunt so Steelix can't put up SR/Roar, WoW takes EQ and Gyro Ball to measly damage, Steelix EQ is a 5HKO's with average damage roll(18.7% - 22.4%) and can't break Dusknoir subs giving WoW more chances, after burn it does 9.5% - 11.6%, meaning that it won't win the stall war. Dusknoir's FP does 26.6% - 31.6% netting a clean 5HKO with leftie and no burn.

This is really easy to counter though :(

Samurott @ Leftovers Trait: Torrent
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SAtk / 96 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Taunt
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

Doesn't care about Will-O-Wisp, maybe for health loss, Taunts and proceeds to Hydro Pump you to death. And if you Focus Punch on the switch, you'll bring it into Torrent range so...

Lanturn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 52 HP / 252 Def / 204 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Scald
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Heal Bell

ownt beetch

Lilligant @ Leftovers
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Trait: Own Tempo
Timid Nature
-Quiver Dance
-Sleep Powder
-Petal Dance
-Hidden Power [Rock]

A bit different from standard Lilligant, but still just Sleeps Lanturn, and QDs up to the point where even Ice Beam won't do much

Munchlax @ Eviolite
136 HP / 124 Def / 248 SpDef
Careful Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Whirlwind
- Body Slam

Takes almost nothing from Lilligant's unboosted hits and can Whirlwind it out if it has boosts. It can take Sleep Powder and still move with Sleep Talk.

Misdreavus @ Eviolite
252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe
Bold Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Taunt
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp

Is unaffected by Body Slam, and will taunt Munchlaxs recovery and phazing, so it won't be allowed to do anything while Will-O-Wisp will stall it to death if it chooses to stay in, but will likely be forced to switch out.

Swellow @ Flame Orb
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Facade
- Brave Bird
- Pursuit
- Protect

Is immune to Shadow Ball and enjoys being burned, it can also return fire with a powerful Brave Bird or Pursuit.

Regirock @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 204 HP / 148 Atk / 156 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

takes anything Swellow throws at it really easily, forcing it to switch or die to a rock slide.

Claydol
Bold / Leftovers / Levitate
252 HP / 252 Defense / 4 Sp. Defense
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin

Takes next to nothing from Rock Slide, is immune to Earthquake and T-Wave, can Spin Regirock's rocks away, can set up its own rocks with impunity, and can handle it easily with a few Earth Powers.

Reserved, be up in a sec.

Rotom @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Pain Split
- Substitute

Blocks Spin, Immune to Earth Power, Ice Beam does barely any damage while Shadow Ball does like 80%.

Also lol Claydol has so many counters its not even funny...

Feraligatr @Life Orb
EVs: 252 atk, 252 HP
Adamant
Swords Dance
Aqua Jet
Substitute
Return

Swords dance feraligatr makes for great wall-breaking power. A swords-dance life orb boosted STAB aqua jet makes it very tricky to revenge kill and Return is for coverage. Substitute lets him block irritating status and leech seeds from Ferroseed, his most prominent counter. The HP EVs make his substitutes tough to break for any wall.

Barry4ever posted first against Claydol.... BUT, Feraligatr can still take down rotom with an aqua jet if he doesn't switch in on the T-bolt. Maybe it won't have to be ignored(?)

whatever, I'll counter Feraligatr.

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Trait: Regenerator
Relaxed Nature
-Giga Drain
-Hidden Power [Fire]
-Leech Seed
-Sleep Powder

Takes nothing at all from AJ or Return, and even at +2, doesn't care. Can just Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, and relax
