EVs: 40 HP / 156 Def / 204 SpD / 108 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Volt Switch

Im gonna be really quick, this team just drops to pyroar/ zard after magmortar gets weakened , floatzel nearly 6-0es if rotom gets pursuit trapped or something, while lanturn is pretty annoying if liligant dies.
So im gonna suggest a pokemon i like a lot on balanced builds, lanturn, but not the regular set, instead im using Whirlpool to trap opposing lanturns and weaken them to the point where scarf rotom/flame charge magmortar can just proceed to sweep opposing team.

Hariyama @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 212 SpD / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Earthquake/Stone Edge
- Close Combat

This team is really solid and it was hard to find glaring flaws however I noticed that the team struggled with switching into water types since Lilligant isnt the best Water-Resist and doesnt have Lum berry to catch stray burns from scalds or T-waves from Lanturn. I was gonna post AV Lanturn to fit the offensive nature of the team (Fast taunt Lix was the easiest indicator of that lol) however Lucian sniped me. Guts Yama fits the offensive nature of the team and loves to absorbs status and scald burns. It also gives the team a better check to scary strong and fast water mons such as LO Rott or LO Floatzel since Lilligant isnt taking Ice beams. His bulk gives Mag some breathing room for checking special attackers and also gives this team another heavy hitter. The priority is nice since this team lacked it and I decided to run Earthquake over Fake Out to weaken Garb for Lilligant to sweep however Stone Edge is for annoying Flyers and Mantine which could be dealt with but the team didnt have the best switchins however Yama could since Air slash does pitiful damage and he doesnt mind the scald burns too much due to Guts.

since 10 weeks have passed and this thread is going to be on hold for a while, I figured it would be a fun idea to drop all the teams that were used in the 10 rounds here!
this is something I had in my head for a while and it also gives you guys a sense of what Pokemon are popular and what Pokemon fits which team! remember that the 6th Pokemon on every team is the Pokemon that got the most votes, instead of the actual Pokemon itself (even though some are the same). Enjoy!

ok time as always to post what Pokemon you think should be the 6th member of this team. Submission stage will end on Saturdaymorning. go wild!

PrinceLucian

Banned deucer.

Hariyama @ Choice Band
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 216 SpD / 40 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

-ill be first,i was debating between mag or hariyama a while, they both benefit team very well ,first one giving the team fwg core, a ghost check and another weezing check to not get xatu pressured easily and switch every time while risking to get poison, while hariyama also fills all the correct roles, thick fat and guts were hard to choose but i decided to go with Banded guts just because team appreciates a ghost lure, weakens weezing easier for scyther late game sweep and in general doesnt fear of being statused, gives the team punch it needs and overall its a great pokemon, thick fat would also be nice for giving team another aurorus check but ice types arent That common.

nice ice resist :^)

Aurorus @ Choice Specs
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Earth Power
- Freeze Dry
- Ancient Power / Flash Cannon

So Aurorus does a few things for this team, mostly providing a strong specially offensive presence to help break teams so that Scyther has a better chance to sweep. It also provides a solid response to other Ice-types, and it can afford to run Rock-STAB or Flash Cannon to improve its matchup against them due to Scyther and Xatu dealing well with most Hariyama. Scarf Kabutops + Xatu also provides sufficient hazard removal to let Aurorus keep switching into battle and pressuring foes. Pivot support from Scyther, Lanturn, and Xatu can also help it enter battle more easily.

Combusken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Baton Pass
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Protect/HP Electric

I could definitely see Combusken as a great addition to this team as it can function quite well with scyther. Combusken can definitely help get rid of annoying pokemon like Steelix, Regirock, and Weezing for Scyther. It can also aid in Scyther sweeping with a BP speed boost. Also, this team has a lot of voltturn going on so with Xatu's slower u-turn and lanturn's slowish volt switch, it can definitely help Combusken get an easier time boosting without relying on Protect which would otherwise give the opponent a chance to set-up.

Piloswine @ Eviolite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Toxic/Roar/Curse

Piloswine is almost always used as a rocker however I felt that it could experiment with other support moves since this team already had a rocker and I have used these supporting options in the past mostly in PU. He works as a Freeze Dry Resist which balanced teams like this enjoy and as a more solid Tauros/Normal check since Ferroseed gets hit hard by Fire Blast. He also provides Priority which is always nice in case our speed control in Kabutops goes down. Toxic gives you a way to wear down bulky things that can switch into Pilo and can stop scary CM sweepers if Scyther goes down and can deal with Cm audino also. Roar is an alternative to phazing scary sweepers. Curse is probaly the least useful and would work better on a Spdef Piloswine but is an option to have a secondary win con.

Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Taunt

I almost posted garbodor lol,but then I realised shiftry has defog...
Then i started thinking whether zard/mag or weezing would be nice fit but im gonna go with weezing, just because it patches so many things for team.
First thing that made me decide on weezing is team going into balanced direction with that lanturn spread, second: team is weak to scyther and weezing fix this as it provides a u-turn switchin that both shiftry/malamar hate facing,it deals with opposing malamars and fighting types that mismagius hates constantly switch in,and kinda fix the klinklang weakness(even tho everything on team already pressures klink so there wont be problems at all with it imo),it gives team another good edgequake check plus prevents steelix/ferroseed to setup rocks which would be annoying and it checks things like vileplume/lilligant/opposing shiftrys for team.

Archeops
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Acrobatics
- Stone Edge
- Earth Power
- Roost

Its fast and hits hard the latter being great for Malamar to finish off opposing teams that are dented by it, Cheops also benefits heavily with Shiftrys Defog and allows a much more reliable answer to Scyther being able to switch in and all with little risk factor involved (probs could be bulkycheops if Orphic is scared of bugs) the biggest + for Archeops however is that its aesthetically pleasing and what is better then a bit of color in life.
