Anyone here play World of Warcraft?

I used to play WoW, but after RL friends left it I got bored of it too. I played on Jubei'thos (gogo Oceanic servers!), and aside from my crappy Shaman and Warlock, I had my awesome 29 twink mage which was almost fully twinked out (All I really needed was the head chants and I was pretty much set).

If you wanna check them out (wowarmory.com), my mage's name is Corpseley :D

EDIT: >.>, quite the bump there Trax

40 orc shaman on trollbane
playin' with glalie, meddle, and others. we started end of july after moving on from RO and i can safely say we're having lots of fun!

Obligatory 'twinks are for people who can't cut it in max level brackets' comment

anyway I stopped playing from like april until august 8th or so and then noticed I had more free time than I had when I quit since I wasn't working quite as many hours so I decided to pick it up again. Still don't really have the time to raid unfortunately so I rolled an alt on Gurubashi to play with Canoftuna's group.

guru char - http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Gurubashi&n=Synre (not bad for 16ish days imo considering I've at least attempted to stay active on smogon and have been working/doing real life shit a lot).

EDIT: Also Noobster is that US and/or PvE, I noticed there is a trollbane us pve I think but wowwiki tells me it is also a pvp EU server apparently

Assuming it is the former considering afaik all of you live somewhere in North America if you don't mind me tagging along once you guys hit 70 I could send my Mage over since he is just rotting on Doomhammer atm, his gear is pretty terrible considering I more or less just got him to 70 and stopped using him but if you guys are fresh 70s we should be at pretty much the same level.

for reference, man some of that gear is old... Onyxia and l60 pvp loot, fuck yeah.

Maybe i get laughed at, but it would be fun that some of the people of this forums (along with noobster and the others perhaps) start at the same server to play or even a guild, i don't know, is a non-elaborated idea, but it would be fun to have a "smogon" group or something going.

Let me know what you think, lol.

Everyone is welcome to join us on Trollbane US Horde (guild name is Avalanche). Personally I'd rather not reroll at this point since i'm thoroughly enjoying my character, and so is everyone else in our little group. As I said though, anyone from here who's interested in joining us, feel free to. AFAIK, we were eventually going to become a "casual" raiding guild. That's in terms of not hardcore raids being scheduled every day or so but you know when times work out for us, since we don't really have all the time to waste. Anyways, you can pm Noobster, Theogar or Akatosh if you want to contact me, meddle, or Glalie respectively and we'll toss you an invite.

The more the merrier ;).

I forgot to post my armory page earlier, but that's me. Rolled it July 20th and I'm happy with my progress considering I didn't play for like 2 weeks in the beginning. Spent all day yesterday farming scarlet monastery for some new mail gear and gold so I could buy my mount, which I did today.

Just an out of combat UI shot, i'm pretty satisfied with it for the time being. Anyways, that's just some quick background info on us!

I have a 35 undead rogue on Uldaman and a 20 human rogue on Wildhammer. It's a fun little game but I struggle to understand how people can get addicted to something so repetitive by its very nature.

Also I had to lol to myself at my post on the first page. AH IT GOT MEH

I hate MMOs because they're always the same. Grind, grind, grind and then grind some more.

Its a waste of time. If you really just want to grind constantly why not just play runescape or that piece of shit adventure quest? Same exact game just no pretty graphics to distract you from the fact that you're wasting $14 a month on a "game" that feels like a constant chore.

WoW and all its MMORPG cousins suck so hard they collapse upon themselves creating a black hole that sucks all the money out of the universe and sends it to blizzard.

Thanks Noobster, i will perhaps reroll to play with you all haha, i don't mind since i am very stuck with my main and my alts, is just not the same to go back after almost a year lol.

Yep, is very very repetitive, but, it is fun to create a character and improve it step by step, at least i find it funny being very casual at it (because i don't spend day and night playing this game...).

Here's my bitch that i was playing on Thunderlord before the expansion. (check out how i don't talent her yet lol, but before the expansion i was ice mage)

I think my honorable kills are fairly good, but lol, my guild disappear and move to other server while i was away...

I personally it depends on how you level. WoW is one of the least grind intensive mmos i've played. They give you so many options. You can quest, you can do instances, or if you're one of those people that don't want to level casually but really as fast as they can, then yes there is grinding for them.

Also, NESgamer that'd be cool :) the more the merrier.

I also loved to PvP... to bad Alliance sucked at it lol.

EDIT: K, i start as a druid on Trollbane, lol, "Nesgamer" is the name of this Tauren.

in this post i will completely disregard the endgame where you get to slaughter massive amounts of people with the avatar you carefully leveled and geared to your likings, the group aspect of the game, or even the fact that you can meet alot of cool people over internet games such as mmos

I used to, I quit a few months ago and let my friend play the account, he hasn't done much except ruin my reputation in pvp :p (nah he's not that bad, but I had a bit of a reputation outside ironforge as a good dueler) :p

Synre you were really hardcore pre-TBC your Naxx Gear is amazing :), We just about made C'Thun before TBC, I still remember the late nights sitting and shivering (London nights are shit cold :p). But thankfully that's all past me, life is so much better after WoW.

My warlock is pretty good geared,

Here is my Armory:

Wow dies after a while though, I think when my guild disbanded at the star of TBC it led to a half year process of getting bored with WoW.

Oh and here's a picture of me During Arena Season 1:

For whatever reason (other than Night elves) Human Warlocks bug me. I like Warlocks and I don't mind humans but together..... I just don't know.

So..not to troll this thread, but how much has your social life / interaction with members of the opposite sex suffered from this...disease, this..breakout epidemic? WoW has ruined the lives of MANY. LIVE IN FEAR.
